  1. I'm kinda happy with Charlotte going foward. I mean we are 17-20 and that's bad in the current landscape of the eastern conference but we'll have $25M in free cap space, Batum not being a worry because of his bird rights. Also factoring the MKG injury that is a huge blow to our starting lineup, and Big Al being completely useless, 16/17 can be really good.

I've heard he started as a striker and can play defensive midfield, so sounds like the kind of nebulous utility player we tend to go for. Yay.

He started his career as a striker/winger, later transitioned into only being a winger, and this season played all of his games as a defensive midfielder. Not really tall and imposing as most people have been asking, but has a lot of offensive projection, neat passer and actually tackles people.

If you think Mike Ashley would pay £25mil for Andros Townsend off all people, then I've got high grade magic beans to sell you.

People only rate him because Roy Hodgson has a raging stiffy for him and inexplicably picks him for England.

I didn't say that. I actually think Townsend is shit. But a lot of people want him to be signed for no other reason than his nationality and the fact he stepped foot in a Premier League field.

Leicester are targetting  £16million-rated Dynamo Kiev defender Aleksandar Dragovic.

Yeah it was such a fun sports anime, really started the trend of the genre bringing in female fans and as a result led to the present where sports anime are some of the most popular going. It's a solid 3 seasons so you've got plenty to watch. Haikyuu! and Yowamushi Pedal are also great recent sports anime.

I watched a couple of episodes from Haikyuu and I felt that it was much more polarized in terms of character compared to Kuroko, didn't like that much. I'll try Yowamushi Pedal though.

I am really really jealous of the Boston Celtics, because they have some of my most liked players in their core right now. Jae Crowder is always 'mah boy' since he was with the Mavericks, knowing we traded him away for that knobhead Rajon Rondo still pisses me off.

I also love Ish Thomas because anyone who is 5ft9* and can ball that well deserves to be praised.
Also Brad Stevens is the best under 45 coach in the league and it's not even up for debate, you got a team with literally no 'star' to speak off, and they're 13-9 and right there in playoff contention. Sure it might be the east, but with the team he has and the results he gets (like beating the Bulls...) he needs all the praise.

But at least I can be proud of the Mavericks, the team whiffed on all the big catches this off-season, have four players that had to come back from injuries (D-will, Parsons, Matthews, McGee), and yet Rick Carlisle just gets it done by turning Zaza Pachulia into a double-double player for the first time in his 12 year career...

Hey. Hey you. The east's been better this year.
