Why didn't Paulinho play in the league at all last year? Is he that bad?
Not really. Poch just prefers Ryan ''I like sideway passes and missing clear cut chances'' Mason over him. Paulinho was pretty good whenever I saw him last season.
-
We suck.

What in particular is upsetting you Rafa?
Letting go of Noah Vonleh so in the end we get Frank fucking Kaminsky.
I think someone stole Rich Cho's brain last month.

OKC traded Lamb to Charlotte for Ridnour!
I didnt know Ridnour was still playing for us. He was pretty decent in 13/14. What can you tell me about Jeremy Lamb, Mr. Larz?
-
To be fair, everyone does that. "Oh wow, we've signed a guy with an exciting sounding name, he'll definitely be amazing"... Blissfully ignorant that Brazil, Portugal, Spain and wherever else produce their fair share of Stewart Downings and David Nugents.
Firmino is class though. Not afraid to take on players or try the difficult plays, very skillful and smart. Can also play False 9 with quite effectiveness, as shown in the national team.
Meanwhile, John Heitinga has joined Ajax on a one-year deal, and Watford a keen on signing Rudy Gestede from Blackburn.
-
But that young core could have included Noah Vonleh....
It could, couldn't it?
-
Charlotte's "win now" mode simply means getting back to the playoffs, apparently.
The team's going all in this season, and then rebuilds the next one with guys like Batum and Al Jefferson expiring their contracts and a decent young core in Zeller/This year's draft/Biyombo//MKG/Kemba.
-
Yeah, Charlotte fans apparently look at it as the team being in win now mode. But I'm not entirely sure that's a mode the Hornets can even enter in to in their current state. And even if they miraculously did, its not like they're going to the Eastern Conference Finals, much less the Finals. Should have stockpiled assets and made this kind of push in a few seasons.
The big mistake was not giving guys that had good seasons in 13/14 like McRoberts and CDR better deals to keep them instead of trying to go for Hayward. I get it, he would be the perfect 3rd guy for the team but It seemed smarter to keep the core that got us in the playoffs and build from the draft, so at some point the team could start spending on the FA market or doing these ''big name'' trades.

Ian Cathro is set to be appointed Newcastle's new assistant manager. He seems good, was at Valencia last year.
-
Think Barca have a buy back clause as well. Smart business by them he did well for Everton that season he was there. If he performs again and develops they can get him back.
Don't think he had as much of an impact with Sevilla from what I've read but then again I don't watch much Spanish football so i
Deulofeu was considered one of the biggest flops in the 2014/15 La Liga. Sevilla signed him to be a key player, ended up on the bench. He did a Cabella.
-
Bad move on the Batum trade. Getting a guy that passes the ball but shoots 32% from the 3 in exchange of a very promising prospect and a solid role player.
-
Feer-meen-oh.
-
Who?
That's the spirit.

Charlotte are firm fans of Rafa Time transfer rumors. It was only fair he return the favor and support them.
I was the first one to announce the Tyrus Thomas trade.
-
How did you end up a Charlotte fan? That seems like a terrible decision to have made.
I used to always play with the Bobcats on GM Mode/Franchise Mode NBA 2K/NBA Live. And the history of basketball in Charlotte is quite cool, especially the 90s. But there were a lot of tough times.
-
What do you mean by totally nonsensical for Charlotte? Hawes is a solid big man who can shoot the 3 and spread the floor, something we DESPERATELY need. Stephenson just plain didn't work out, and getting rid of him for someone who can actually be useful and fits the gameplan? It's actually a decent trade for both sides.

Argentina draws, Chile and Brazil barely win, and Colombia loses to Venezuela. Everything is still open.

Arsenal have launched a 13M bid for Juventus' Daniele Rugani, who was on loan last season at Empoli.

Darmian's good. Attacks well, defends well. Won't be a world-class player at his position, but he does his job just fine.
