  1. Nah, It's because Leeds is a club with some Premier League-level players that is willing to sell their stars for cheaper prices than the relegated teams.
  2. I love the fact that Sandro uses his UFC teeth protection.
  3. Is James Tomkins that young? He looks 24 or something.
  4. Hamburg completed the signing of FM11 favorite Milan Badelj, for 3.5M Euros from Dinamo Zagreb. Roma said they won't be signing Internazionale goalkeeper and brazilian international Julio Cesar because of his high wages.
  5. Steve Kean is god. Only he had the guts to put Morten Gamst Pedersen on the left-back. And beat Arsenal at home with two own goals. And pay 3 million pounds for Leon Best.
  6. This should confirm Berbatov's departure.
  7. I actually contribute with the summer transfer window, bringing news from Brazil/South America and some non-English leagues.
  8. I love you too, Lin. Man Utd have loaned defender Reece Brown to League One side Coventry City, on a season-long loan. Inter, on the other side, have signed Gaby Mudingayi from Bologna on loan. Boca Junior's striker Pablo Mouche is close to joining turkish side Kayserispor. Same thing for AC Milan target and Porto defender Rolando, close to a deal with Fenerbahce.
  9. Machismo is my fan. Colly is my fan. Ellis is my fan. Lineker is my fan.
  10. 10 million sounds like the perfect price.Wigan's good run of form in the end of the Premier League was in part because of his great perfomances. He's a very fast winger and can also score lots of goals.
  11. Where is FC Sion getting all that money? Did the Swiss finally start to steal from their banks?
  12. Bolded for emphasis. Colly is my best friend in the forum. He's so cool. And incredibly, he's never wrong. I really like him. I'm regularly wrong (as shown by my inability to read/add up at the top of the page) but I'm quite happy to admit that. You write absolute bollocks backed up by more absolute bollocks. But I was just saying you're the coolest guy in the forum. You're my idol. Fine, if Britton is that good, I bet Liverpool already made a secret 30M pound bid for him. They'll use the passing statistics to justify the fee. Same way somebody will be giving 20M for Danny Simpson because of his number of clearances. Or maybe Barcelona will get Jordan Henderson because he had a 100% passing rate at the 2012 Euro.
  13. About Snodgrass/Lens/Arshavin, or my compliments to Colly, the greatest human being to ever post on this blessed forum. The God Ryland blessed us all with his presence, and we all shall bow to him and his greatness.
  14. Bolded for emphasis. Colly is my best friend in the forum. He's so cool. And incredibly, he's never wrong. I really like him. Zenit seem to want Arshavin back. PSV rejected Southampton's move for Jeremy Lens. The Snodgrass Saga continues at Norwich, as they'll big again for the Leeds player.
  15. Wasn't that more Leon Britton than Allen? Not really, no. Yes it was. 4% more. His passing accuracy was slightly higher, but he played deeper than Allen, so what they were expected to do with the ball is completely different, and the idea that one player drags a team to playing that sort of possession based football is silly. £15m is too high, but then the only source for that number is Sky, whose 'sources' are basically what's being chucked around on Twitter. I don't think they've got any rumour regarding Liverpool right yet this summer. I agree entirely, but you disputed the fact that it was Britton who's passing accuracy was on the top 5 in Europe list, I believe above at least one of Xavi or Iniesta. Personally I'm not a stats man anyway (Danny Simpson being proof you can bullshit anything with stats) and I'm convinced that were it not for a few thunderbolts from Sigurdsson Swanseas possession football would've seen them finish a fair bit lower than they actually did. If I'm being honest I didn't see enough of them to judge last season, but in the game at home to Newcastle they had 70 something per cent possession but didn't look threatening once, while we just bashed two past them on the break. I'm certainly interested to see what Rodgers does at Liverpool to say the least. Krul saved our ass in that game, and Rodgers will have a better attacking line to work with this season. But Britton's passing statistics are as stupid as Simpson's. I watched 10-15 Swansea games this season and he barely plays the ball to the front. It was always the easy sideways pass or the back pass to Caulker. Joe Allen worked well for the team, but the price is too high for the guy. Marcos Angeleri is coming back to Argentina, he's coming back to his old club, Estudiantes. Southampton signed goalkeeper Paulo Gazzaniga from Gillingham. He's joining the club on a four-year contract. And Sao Paulo have rejected loads of cash for Lucas Moura, claiming they had money from TV and sponsors and they don't need to sell Lucas to have money.
  16. Douglas is a common name in Brazil. And he looks better than Steven Taylor, from what I've seen from few games from the Eredivisie. 3.5M for that guy is a huge bargain. Modibo Maiga's move to West Ham is complete. The striker will join the london club for 4.7M pound on a four-year deal. Borussia Monchengladbach have signed Luuk De Jong on a five-year deal. Sporting Lisbon have signed former Chelsea defender Khalid Boulahrouz.
  17. If it was Matt's baby, it would be Galatasary instead of Man Utd.
  18. Swansea have agreed a 1.5M fee for Rayo Vallecano's Michu. Adrian Mariappa has complete his move to Reading. Bad news for Matt, as Andy Lonergan has now joined Bolton. Nathaniel Clyne is really, really, really close to sign with Southampton. Zlatan Ibrahimovic has finally come to terms with PSG, and his move will be announced soon. And Maurice Edu and Bocanegra don't want to stay at Rangers, a good opportunity for MLS clubs to bring in 2 national team players.
  19. Many people say Ganso will be Brazil's playmaker, but it will be Oscar. But Internacional, according to ESPN and the president's words, want the biggest transfer fee in the history of brazilian football for the deal to happen. And that means more than what Real paid to Robinho.
  20. July 31st - 'Demba Ba rejects offers' August 1st - 'Demba Ba leaves Newcastle'
  21. Andy is always great when he plays for/against Newcastle, with the exception of that dive in the last encounter.
