Hacking, doxxing and death threats aren't okay. Rebecca Watson doesn't feel the same way about at least one of those, but it is what it is. Some people are extremists and the rest are sending letters.

In my years away from the board, I trained for the NYWC under Mikey Whipwreck (yes, where Zack Ryder came from and where Trent Barretta is going back to). I was their ring announcer for 6 months before I was taken out (in kayfabe).
