I'm in a game I've never heard of? Where's my royalties?

I got up to Mt. Moon on both games and things have been both frustrating and weird.
Starters: Machop and Bagon - Great long term pair, and due to the set up Machoke will evolve to Machamp by level up.
Route 1 - Seadra and Mawile - Decent, I like Seadra but using Mawile is hard
Route 22 - Sentret and Bellsprout - Gives me a third pair, at least Victreebel will be good.
Route 2 - Starmie and Mankey - Can't use at the moment since it'll give me 2 water and 2 fighting typles
Viridian Forest - Sandshrew and Mudkip - I kind of want to use this instead of Seadra/Mawile but I would need to grind to have Brock, so Box for now.
First Death - Trainer in Viridian Forest had a Regice, I sent my Machop in and he used Explosion. RIP Machop and Bagon
I beat Brock using just the teams of Seadra/Furrett and Mawile/Bellsprout. Had to get a little creative with the Green game since Brock had a Metagross so Bellsprout was useless. Got useless TMs so Mawile now has Fury Swipes because why not?
Route 3 - Ivysaur and Aron - GREAT pair, but I would need to box both my active pairs to use them, so I might need a huge party switch
Magikarp - Even trading for this guy is random and I got a MEWTWO! The other game got a Lugia! But they are both Psychic so I can never use the pair....
Mt. Moon - Kabutops and Eevee - Another great pair but I need an evolution stone.
So even after all that my active parties are still Seadra/Furret and Mawile/Bellsprout since all my box Pokemon have one member of each pair that is Water, Normal, Grass or Steel.
I'm probably going to switch up my party and go with Sandshrew/Ivysaur/Kabutops and Mudkip/Aron/Eevee and send my leveled up pair to the Box

So in an attempt to spice things up I'm taking on a weird challenge of playing Pokemon that hopefully makes my life both fun and infuriating. I"m trying what is called a Soul Link challenge. basically I'm playing Fire Red and Leaf Green at the same time using Nuzlock rules with some additions. So outside only being able to catch the 1st pokemon in each route and death being permanent...also Pokemon from Gen 1-3 are included in the Fire Red/Leaf Green run.
- The game is completely randomized so all wild and trainer pokemon can be literally anything, also all trainers Pokemon are 20% stronger than normal. Items are also random and all TM's have a random move BUT they are still compatible with the same Pokemon (so Brock give me Rock Slide in one game but the actual move I got was Petal Dance which can only be taught to Pokemon who can learn Rock Slide).
- The first encounter in each area are linked across games. So my Starter in Fire Red and my starter in Leaf Green are linked. If one is in the active party, so is the other. If one is boxed, so is the other. If one dies, they both die
- I can only have one of each Pokemon Type across BOTH teams. So if I have an Ekans (Poison) on one team, I cannot have another Poison type on either team. This only accounts for the primary type. If I have Ekans, I would be able to have Bulbasaur since its is (Grass/Poison).
The challenge here is the massive restrictions on the team force you to use Pokemon you normally wouldn't and having essentially an active Party of 12. So if Red catches a Dragonite ont he same route Green catches a Paras, I will have to use the Paras just to have access to the Dragonite, and if the Paras faints I lose the Dragonite.
I did start and get up to the Rock Tunnel but I realized I made a massive mistake and have to start over. I got my Route 2 and Viridian Forest encounters mixed up. Route 2 was Lairon/Umbreon and Viridian Forest was Whismur/Mareep. Whismur died because Brock had a Charizard but I boxed Umbreon instead and used Mareep a lot when he should have been dead. So I'm going to restart over the weekend and give random updates of how it goes.

I like that Louis Skolnick from Revenge Of The Nerds is part of the cast.
They already cast Ogre back in Season 7, so its not really a surprise.

Do I have to spoiler things?
SpoilerThe first thing this season was a damn super idol, they spent a good chunk of the episode on it while the coverage for the other two tribes were Dr. Mike looking for an idol and what's his face saying he knows people found an idol. The episode was literally 90% idols and it didn't even get played...
I'm not saying I hated it or anything, but I guess we know which way they are going when it comes to advantages.

Ottawa. I've heard he's done shows in Gatineau and I've found some stuff on youtube (but like a year or two old) with Spiderman and The Mummy.

Lutte Internationale 2000 did exist. It still kinda exist to this day as Jacques Rougeau still does tour shows during the Holidays every year. He plans to have one final big show next year with Hulk Hogan as his special guest.
As for its roster in itself, it's mostly comprised of his students plus many special guests. Troy's link will give you a few of those.
I've heard that he runs shows in my area but I've never once heard of one before hand or seen any promotional material for them, just rumors they exist and people who apparently wrestle there.

Best Theme Song:
Greatest American Hero gets a mention as well. Rawhide just because of Blues Brothers as well.
-
Oh, so now I have to watch it week to week! Jerk.
-
Worst case scenario is I won't watch it for a few weeks and binge it all at once.

I kind of hate the idea that every season is going to have some weird gimmick just so they can stop doing different locations. However if they pick good gimmicks I won't really care. This is not one of those good gimmicks.

Just came back from It. Pretty good, although it doesn't quite measure up to the book. I love that the new Pennywise actor played it darker than Tim Curry did in the miniseries.
Ramblings/thoughts:
Most disappointing thing was probably that about halfway through the movie, it just became "Pennywise jumpscares the Losers individually, they narrowly escape", rinse and repeat.
Richie was a lot of fun for most of the movie, I thought. He came off as the one-liner kid to sorta break the tension after/during a heavy scene. Given the entire first part of the story is a scary clown preying on children, I appreciated it.
In order to advance the story and provide more scares I understand it, but I thought it was strange to have Stuttering Bill/the entire group figure out that they need to stick together... and then find ways to split off no matter what.
Finally, Bill Skarsgård was excellent. The R-rating allowed them to truly get across how horrifying Pennywise is, and thankfully the Georgie scene was not sanitized. I'm pretty excited to see how they do with the sequel.
IT was a fantastic horror movie.
SpoilerWasn't the point of the jumpscares to instill fear? He wasn't actually trying to kill them, he just wanted to scare them. Even them splitting up made sense considering they are children, they are terrified and Pennywise is doing things to split them up.
Also, I'm glad they were able to invent time travel to cast a younger Kevin Bacon as Henry Bowers. If Kevin Bacon doesn't play older Henry Bowers in Part 2 I'll be a little dissapointed.

I love the 13th Warrior despite its... short comings... but I can never wrap my head around the scene where Herger antagonized the giant dude into a duel so he can kill him and piss off the prince... and then have nothing ever come of it. I don't think you even see the prince dude again so the duel literally means nothing.

Same. I want him to do his part in defending the good people. Then I want him to die. Not a hero, but someone who sheepishly finally did what was needed when so many others did it without so much prompting. And without being a rapist. It probably won't happen quite like that, but it's what I want.
I guess what I most want is for the producers to admit that they've done some really inexcusable things in their storytelling with rape. Even though I know that won't happen.SpoilerIsn't the point of a redemption arc for them to redeem themselves for the bad things they have done? Most of the characters in the story have done bad things but have grown and changed and become likable characters with Jamie and Theon being the main ones. The story takes place during a huge war in medieval times so its not like the same rules apply.

I liked that too. It could've happened much sooner though. Littlefinger has basically been doing fuck all since he dropped off Sansa at Winterfell to marry Ramsay. But it was still a great moment when it finally happened.
I hate how they got us to this moment though. The whole set-up was insulting and obnoxious.
SpoilerI think that was the point (that and giving them something to do). It seemed so aggravating until the reveal that Sansa and Arya were on the same page the entire time and were just letting Littlefinger play his hand.
-
Spoiler
I said a while ago that I thought Arya would kill Littlefinger by the finale, and even thought the Arya/Sansa feud was just a ploy by them to catch him and make him pay for all the crimes he committed, and then it happened perfectly. Dude got right fucked and it was everything I ever wanted.
It was also super awesome to see pretty much every major player left all gather together in one scene. I think only the 3 Starks, Sam, Beric, Gendry and Tormund were missing. After seasons of everyone being all over the place we finally had most of them on screen together.
-
I use mine like once a year to play Ogre Battle 64 or Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn. The moment I can find a copy of Skies of Arcadia: Legends for not an insane price, that will be played a lot.

I think we should get the next game/poll going soon

Found a great version of the leak and I had to watch it. I should add that for whatever reason the board momentarily shows whats in the spoilers when I load the page and I could see what @Nerf wrote, which is major. Didn't spoil me, but just a heads up that a funky board mechanic showed it anyway.
Leak spoilers
SpoilerNot what I expected, the previews were super misleading. Sad to see one of the seven go but all things considered I'm happy that they just massively teased other deaths. The Hound and Tormund was a combination I never knew I wanted and poor Gendry didn't get to really fight. A little sad about the Benjen thing, Jon gets about a 1 second reunion and it seemed like kind of a waste just to tie up a loose end. The Zombie Dragon thing is kind of a whatever thing to me, I have no attachment to the Dragons and just see them as plot devices but I guess the Three Headed Dragon thing is not happening.

Ned knew, and I'm sure Howland knew as well. Sam gave the book to Craster Jr. so I'm sure it will come back into play.

At the Siege of Pike the first two to breach the castle were Thoros and Jorah.
I loved so much about this episode and it was a nice slow down and build between big episodes. Gendry is back and that is great but then ending with The Ranging of one of the most badass groups of people possible with Jon, Tormund, Gendry, Jorah, Beric, Thoros and The Hound (I'm still a big fan of Beric from the books). All these loose ends are coming together so well and Sam was like 2 seconds from finding out about Jon's parents.
Other highlights are how Jon and Gendry talked to each other exactly like Ned and Robert used to, Tormond being Tormund and setting up what could very likely be Bronn havning to get the hell out of King's Landing and hopefully saving the last Sand Snakes and Yara.
Wait a minute, something just clicked in my head
SpoilerIf Rhaegar's marriage was annulled and he was secretly married to Lyanna that actually makes Jon a trueborn Targaryen.

Also, because if a 10 year old girl will do it, the lord pretty much have to otherwise they'll be laughed at

Grinded up my Sandshrew/Ivysaur/Kabutops and Mudkip/Aron/Eevee teams to take on Mt. Moon and things got weird again.
Mt. Moon I lost Sandshrew to a trainer's Blaziken getting a critical Ember, so Sandshrew and Mudkip went to the graveyard. This gave me room to put Starmie and Mankey on the team and Starmie became the MVP of his team. Got through all that and...
Route 4 - Moltres and Jirachi! I didn't think I would be able to catch both but I did admittedly up the catch rate a little for legendarily to make it possible Sadly a Crit Ember with a Burn took down Ivysaur so I lost my huge pair of Ivysaur/Aron for Moltres/Jirachi.
Route 24 - Spoink and Camerupt - Meh pair, only chance they will be used in the near future is if Moltres/Jirachi fall.
Route 25 - Cloyster and Sudowoodo - Another meh pair for the box.
Current Active Team:
Starmie, Moltres and Kabutops
Mankey, Jirachi and Eevee
Box:
Seadra, Furret, Spoink and Cloyster
Mawile, Bellsprout, Camerupt, Sudowoodo
Dead:
Machop, Sandshrew and Ivysaur
Bagon, Mudkip, Aron
