Bret, Razor, Taker, Diesel, Luger and Backlund all get into the tournament without qualifying.

    1st round:
    Bret Hart defeats Razor Ramon

Taker vs Diesel is a no contest
    Luger beats Backlund

    Semi Finals:
    Bret Hart defeats Bigelow
Luger gets a BYE due to Taker/Diesel

I'm feeling that way with Luke Cage season 2 (I'm most of the way through, I think). And I felt that way with The Defenders. And a bit with JJ season 2. And Iron Fist. Either the quality is dropping or my interest is waning :(

I think it is just over saturation.  In the last year they've put out The Defenders, The Punisher, Jessica Jones and Luke Cage which totals 46 episodes.  That is twice the number of episodes a normal TV shows has in a full season, and this episodes are 15-20 minutes longer, so it's a LOT of TV to write and watch.

I think most of these marvel Netflix shows could do with being two or three episodes shorter. Just tighten them up a bit. I always start to wain about episode nine or so.

I kind of agree with this, or make the episodes a little shorter since most of them are just over an hour long.  I often felt myself having issues getting through the entire episode in one sitting, where as with something like GLOW and episodes ends and I just want more.

I love the fact that Roseanne's apart defense was "it was a joke". Yes, and we pay you to make jokes on TV. Clearly we aren't going to risk that anymore.

  5. I love people defending Roseanne on twitter, especially the ones that are mad that Michelle Wolfe insulting Sarah Sanders should be seen the same as being super fucking racist.  Probably because they want it to be okay to be super fucking racist.

  6. Deadpool 2

    Spoiler

I liked it, but I feel like my heart hasn't healed since Infinity War being out so recently.  I died at the Vanisher sky diving, everything with Peter and Deadpool calling Cable Thanos.  Negasonic/Yukio was great.  The end credits was amazing... does this mean that Vanessa is alive now?  She's such a good character that I don't want her gone.  Plus the Alan Tudyk/Matt Damon cameo was amazing.

Other parts that made me laugh extremely hard, Deadpool "blocking" bullets with his katanas despite the fact that most the bullet hit him anyway, Peter's slow fall out of the plane and Vanisher's sky dive.

This talk made me read through the Thing again. That was an awesome game. The paranoia and mistrust were palpable. Reading back I didn't play very well so here's hoping we get another game with similar mechanics in future.

I also wanted to run a really crazy mafia idea past someone if we get back to it. Can I message someone who knows mafia?

This made me decide to go back and look at The Thing.  I still love how everyone was trying to find the best day 1 plan and Mick just went with a Random Number Generator so everybody turned on him.  Of course it's only hilarious because Mick's RNG actually caught one of The Thing's.

Yeah mafia games were fun. Check out Westworld and The Thing mafia games, I had a lot of fun in them.

My hope is that after a few months interest might pick up and I'd be the first to run or sign up for a game.

I still want to do my Futurama game!  I have some super fun ideas, dammit!

    Infinity War

I really loved it but all the deaths at the end didn't hit me as hard because I don't believe any of them will stick. Spidey was emotional thanks to Tom Holland but the rest were just kinda like "Yeah ok whatever". Like Black Panther just made a bajillion dollars he aint gone for good. Loki, Heimdal and Gamora were different though. I could see them all staying dead which really sucks.

I actually screamed with excitement at the Captain Marvel tease. Carol is one of my favorites and I can't wait. But yeah loved the movie with all the different characters getting to interact. Stark and Strange. Thor and "Rabbit". Cap and Black Panther. All so cool. They also made Thanos into a more complex and interesting character. I believed he was distraught after killing Gamora. Villains are so much better when they have layers.

Forgot about Red Skull too. That wasn't Weaving? When that scene started I turned to my GF and was like "I recognize that voice! Who is that?" and then when he showed up I was sure that was Weaving playing him.

    Spoiler

It was not Hugo Weaving playing Red Skull.

I think they made the correct call in who was "killed" during the snap.  Mostly because I expected it to get undone either way. To me, Avengers 4 isn't a question of will they undo it, its more a question of how many of Ironman, Thor, Hulk, Widow, Rocket, War Machine, Okaye, M'Baku, Gamora (and likely Wong, Ant-Man, Wasp, Hawkeye and Shiri) will actually survive the battle.  Basically all the heroes who could die are the ones that are still there to have to fight Thanos again.

    Because DC sucks.

Oh, and a Joe Russo Q&A the other day answered some questions about Infinity War and gave some background on a few things:

Valkyrie is alive. Joe was asked about Korg, and he didn't give an answer. Presumably because that's up to Taika Waititi.

Tom Holland improvised his death scene.

He was asked about Dr. Strange giving up the Time stone to Thanos, and implied that it was necessary to achieve victory in the end (mentioned the "this is the only way" line and the scene where Strange saw the 14 million possible futures).

Some Asgardians escaped on pods, so there are survivors.

Xandar was attacked off screen to save time and avoid repetition.

    Spoiler

Korg better be alive, he's a treasure.

I'm still betting on the destruction of Xandar being the origin story for a future Nova movie.
