  1. You're a one man team, Kirk. Once Benayoun stops playing so well/gets pointlessly rotated you'll drop down the table. I, on the other hand, will go from strength to strength once Arteta and Robinho return.
  2. Final scores Jagger [13] 0 - 2 Funkmaster [28] Frank Grimes [29] 2 - 1 Pesci [24] Scott McFly [19] 0 - 0 Baddar [16] metalman [35] 4 - 3 Bryn Davies [34] Hackerjack [25] 2 - 3 Jimmy the Exploder [34] Captain Kirk [39] 4 - 0 HailtotheKing [16] Dynamite [25] 2 - 0 King Ellis [15]
  3. It goes down as a Mancienne own goal with a Bent assist. So he ended up with a goal and three assists.
  4. Final scores Jagger [13] 0 - 2 Funkmaster [28] And Latest scores Frank Grimes [18] 0 - 1 Pesci [22] Scott McFly [17] 0 - 0 Baddar [15] metalman [35] 4 - 3 Bryn Davies [32] Hackerjack [18] 0 - 0 Jimmy the Exploder [20] Captain Kirk [33] 2 - 0 HailtotheKing [16] Dynamite [23] 1 - 0 King Ellis [14] I said that Scott McFly needed Barry and Bent to get him 19 points, and the Sunderland striker manager 16 on his own. If Gareth Barry plays 60+ minutes and doesn't let in 4 or more goals then Scott McFly would lead 19-15, and win via the 12th Man Bonus.
  5. The current scores Frank Grimes [18] 0 - 1 Pesci [20] Scott McFly [1] 0 - 0 Baddar [15] Jagger [9] 0 - 2 Funkmaster [28] metalman [35] 4 - 3 Bryn Davies [32] Hackerjack [13] 0 - 0 Jimmy the Exploder [17] Captain Kirk [26] 2 - 0 HailtotheKing [14] Dynamite [23] 1 - 0 King Ellis [13] HailtotheKing and Scott McFly look like they might lose their 100% record, but McFly looks likely to extend his unbeaten record to 3 games. A seven-goal thriller (so far) between metalman and Bryn, thanks to the latter having Torres and the former having Keane.
  6. You two face each other in Week 5, so if you can both keep up your winning streaks we can have a hyperbolic Sky Sports-esque Super Sunday. We need to manufacture some rivalries, too. I don't know where any of you are from, but it would be nice to have some local derbies.
  7. Game Week 3 It's up early, so hopefully everyone can get their teams in on time this week. You can edit your team up until the deadline (12:15 Saturday) so try to get them in early if you're going to be busy closer to the weekend. Current table: Most of you also need to post a default team, and some of you still don't have a full squad.
  8. 5 on Bet 1 Birmingham vs. Bolton - Birmingham 6/5, Draw 11/5, Bolton 15/8 10 on Bet 3 Portsmouth vs. Everton - Portsmouth 9/4, Draw 9/4, Everton EVS 5 on Bet 4 Liverpool to beat Hull 4-0 - 17/2 Doubler Tottenham 3 - 0 Burnley
  9. Owen scored at 95:27, so that's less than a minute and a half of stoppage time on top of the 4 already allocated. Then bear in mind that Bellamy scored at 89:54 and the match didn't kick off again until a minute later. Then add on time for the Carrick substitution. Then add on the 30 seconds between the referee awarding us the free kick and Rooney actually taking it, because Barry kicked the ball away.
  10. Scores so far: Scott McFly [26] 2 - 0 Frank Grimes [6] Pesci [6] 0 - 1 Jagger [23] Baddar [10] 0 - 0 metalman [2] Funkmaster [-2] 0 - 1 Hackerjack [21] Bryn Davies [15] - Captain Kirk [6] Jimmy the Exploder [28] - Dynamite [6] HailtotheKing [30] 3 - 0 King Ellis [2]
  11. Pesci, Baddar and HailtotheKing haven't posted their teams for this week. I really don't want to have three forfeits in the same week, so if they can get their teams up before the 3:00pm games then I'll accept them. I don't think they have many players in this match anyway. Actually, if a team isn't posted (and there's no "default" lineup) then the previous week's team is used. So that's what will happen for Pesci, Baddar and HTTK.
  12. End of the month, but it shouldn't take that long. Hopefully. All of you (except Hackerjack) need to post your team for Game Week 2 by 12:15 tomorrow. Except Dynamite, who is free to give me the 3-0 win by forfeit.
  13. I haven't used it, but there's the FM Formation update.
  14. Everyone needs to post a default lineup in their respective Team Profile topic, for me to use if/when you fail to post a team on time. I've also opened a topic for Game Week 2 this weekend, so you can get your teams in early if you like.
  15. I've updated the Squads spreadsheet with each player's individual score this week. Top players this week: 1. Yossi Benayoun (Captain Kirk) - 20 points 2. Darren Bent (Scott McFly) - 12 points 3. Shaun Wright-Phillips (Frank Grimes) - 10 points 4. Tomas Rosicky (Bryn Davies) - 9 points 5. Glen Johnson (Scott McFly) - 8 points 5. Pepe Reina (King Ellis) - 8 points
  16. 10 on Bet 2 Wolves vs. Fulham - Wolves 11/8, Draw 11/5, Fulham 13/8 10 on Bet 4 Chelsea to beat Tottenham 1-0 - 6/1 Doubler Man Utd 2-1 Man City
  17. That's very generous of you, I'm sure metalman will be grateful. Let me just calculate the score... carry the one... metalman [18] 0 - 4 Scott McFly [35] I'll update the table.
  18. Final scores: Frank Grimes [30] 3 - 2 Jagger [29] Hackerjack [23] 1 - 4 Pesci [38] Captain Kirk [44] 5 - 1 Baddar [21] Dynamite [23] 1 - 2 Funkmaster [29] King Ellis [23] 1 - 0 Bryn Davies [16] HailtotheKing [33] 3 - 1 Jimmy the Exploder [21] metalman [-] 0 - 3 Scott McFly [-]* There might be a midweek set of games, it depends on how active everyone is.
  19. Actually, I forgot about that... The penalty Ben Haim gave away means Dynamite concedes another goal: Dynamite [17] 0 - 2 Funkmaster [29] If it's any consolation, you would have lost anyway. ^_^ I have a magical spreadsheet. If anyone wants it, I'll sent it to them.
