This is getting really tiresome now. Here's a suggestion, direct your posts to EWB. It's the forum that actually does what ya'll are claiming we did. Adam's even a member there in the private section. It's a super nice place where they crap on all of the diaries, mods and members here.

Tbf, I've seen crapping on the diaries.

I'm so out of the loop on all of this and it's difficult to follow with all of the posts getting deleted.  It is funny that this is all happening over a wrestling simulators editor.

  2. Does EWB have a secretive mod community that I'm unaware of?  Aren't the Who's monthly updates the only '16 mod that gets posted on EWB?

Removal of the mod links from the board and a warning, followed by a permanent ban if it happens again. I'm not sure if we have someone who moderates the Mods forum, but if not, I'd be happy to do it or we could nominate someone to do that for the board.

Sean O'Game makes some good points too, and after reading that and your posts, maybe we should rectify it so that mods being made off of other mods, within a certain in-game time period, need to be given permission by the original mod maker? That way, we don't have someone release a June of 2002 mod for people to play TNA from the start, and then someone comes along, updates a couple of things and releases one that starts in July without the original maker being okay with it. Maybe something like, it has to be three months off of the mod you're updating? To ensure that quality mods don't get overlooked because someone else released what is essentially an updated version of it that starts at a time others may prefer, but doesn't really change all that much.

As difficult and time consuming as mod making is, and I know all about that because I've poured countless hours into a mod I've been working on for over a year (just for me to play really)... I find it quite silly to argue about intellectual property over something that no one can actually own anyways. So I still believe the mods should be freeware, but that we should have a policy in place to promote respect within the community.

I've had mod makers grant me access to their databases in the past, and have been super appreciative, but I've also had mod makers say some pretty awful things when they decline. It's really disillusioning to be treated poorly like that by a community that was originally built on respect and creativity, and I feel like if I got that treatment, others must have as well, and that probably contributed to the downturn in how many mods are being made/released.

So is the XFL dead again? I can't imagine there's much of a talent pool left now that the AAF is up and running.

Many people are worried about the CFL with both of these leagues coming in. The CFL analyst on TSN says there are 15,000 graduating division 1 college players each year (i have no idea if that's true). You only need a few hundred for each league.

One of the best quarterbacks in Canada didn't even play division 1 college either, so there are many players that you can find.

Considering the AAF has all of the actual football people from the last XFL, plus most of what's left of the name coaching talent and the best QBs, all without the stink of the XFL, I know where my money is.

    Go, ummm, Fleet, I guess?

Do we need an AAF thread?

Why not make this just a spring football thread? I doubt either gets too much traction anyway beyond the initial launch of each league.

  4. Allegedly from reddit ....

Apparently cities will be announced on December 5th with Houston, New York, and St. Louis expected to be among the final eight.

Also, grain of salt etc., they will announce their tv deal on December 13th with Fox and NBC both negotiating.

Not at all my intention. Was simply stating my surprise at the reaction and making my point that I’m contributing how little I can as a thank you to who for his great updates, there’s a lot of others regularly posting updates here and for that I’m greatful, last thing I’d want to do is start haranguing them for one small mistake.

I watch two wrestling shows regularly impact and Lucha Underground, up until now I’ve posted impact updates only for thewho87 as LU has been off air. In all that time I’ve posted haven’t had one word said about my posts.

despite the fact the thread already has a SPOILER WARNING I still tend to wait until after the change has aired on tv before posting which I assumed was suffice and has been until now, but as thewho87 has rightly pointed out it seems to be more a thing specific to the lucha updates, which I wouldn’t have known until i posted one would I?

But as someone who never contributes to this thread or updates thanks for coming out of your way to insult me.

Here is a link to the spoiler rules. You can post updates, but just use the spoiler tag unless it has been 48 hours since it first aired.

Just on this topic of 205 live - is there any reason why the third company brand is not used for 205 Live? Wouldnt that mean a more accurate portrayal of 205 live with it limited to only the cruiserweights on that roster as opposed to now where its just set as a B show on which anyone can appear - or am i missing something and theres some reason behind this?

I believe it's because you can't set the brand based on weight, so you'll see Big Show wrestle on the show.
