  1. Arcanum: Of Steamworks and Magick Obscura Pillars of Eternity Planescape: Torment Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic Fallout / Fallout 2 Diablo/ Diablo 2 Hand of Fate Titan Quest Dragon Age: Origins
  2. Read this 3 weeks AFTER buying 1.5. Sigh...
  3. Pokemon Red Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri (Played this game so much I wore out my disk) WWF No Mercy WCW/NWO Revenge Super Smash Brothers (Literally an entire summer spent playing this game with my friends. Every.Single.Day.)
  4. I always get a chuckle out of trying to install an eyepatch and a catastrophic failure results in the pawn having his head ripped off. What is that eyepatch made out of, lightsaber?
  5. No. I've been playing them for about 8 years now. I recommend watching some let's plays before you spend money on them. BG1 is slower paced and not as good as BG2, but it's still fantastic in its own right. I've tried to get people into them in the past and some liked them, some hated them, so I'd research them before purchase. If you like slower paced rpgs that require you to save early and often (seriously, save frequently. The game can be brutal) and have an interest in D&D, then you'd probably like them. Edit: If you do decide to try them, I would suggest for a new player to buy the Enhanced Editions. They come with a lot of quality-of-life features that the originals didn't have, and are generally easier to get running, more stable, etc.
  6. In no particular order: Darkest Dungeon Baldur's Gate/Baldur''s Gate 2 Cities:Skylines Rimworld Sid Meier''s Alpha Centuari/Civilization 4 Stellaris ( High learning curve warning) Frostpunk Those are the games I've been playing a lot of recently.
  7. Hey here's something a bit different from the norm that people may enjoy. Underground rap/industrial hybrid. If you enjoy this sampler, check out his two other albums on his channel. (Especially Parasite Avenue. That whole album is dope.)
  8. An underground rap crew I used to listen to just released new music after a decade or so. They dropped 3 albums for free so if anyone is looking for new music, hit up Mission INFECT to download the albums, or go to Loke Records on Youtube to listen. Here's the first "single" ft Grewsum, Lo Key & BadLuck
  9. Acts 2 and 3 in Diablo 2. Areas with tight quarters so your merc can't help you and areas that are 3 times longer than they should be. Who doesn't love that shit?
  10. PostModern Jukebox. They do covers of modern songs in vintage styles. Here's two of my favorites.
  11. It took me 45 minutes to do all 3 queues for the cards. Every 3 or 4 games I got errrors. But eventually I got them done. I sold 2 of the 3 cards almost instantly after putting them on market lol. Has anyone played Assassin's Creed 4 Black Flag? How is it? That's on sale for $7.49 right now. I might pick up that or OOTP Baseball 17, but since I got a bunch of stuff in the GOG sale recently, I might hold off til I can clear some of my backlog.
  12. Seriously, I suggest everyone check out the GOG sale I posted about. Some REALLY good deals. So far I picked up Shadow Warrior, Divine Divinity, Divinity 2 and Alan Wake for like 10 bucks. And in doing so, I got System Shock 2, Spelunky and Gabriel Knight for free. Definitely worth a look.
  13. GOG is currently running a sale a la Steam. Giving away free games for certain numbers of XP, which you get by doing a small number of activities and "checking in" everyday (and probably buying games. IDK about that last part, as I haven't bought aything yet.) I got System Shock 2 free. Dunno if it's the same for everyone or the game is random, but for some people it may be worth a look. EDIT: I forgot to mention I'm 67% sure you need to install GOG Galaxy to take advantage of the sale/free games.
  14. I got my email on like the 5th or 6th.
  15. Ghostfeet is doing a pretty good LP of Enter The Gungeon if anyone wants to check the game out.
  16. I'm aware of Terranigma. I wasn't a fan of that game. I thought it was the weakest of the Soul Blazer/Gaia "series". Although maybe I didn't give it a fair shake when compared to the majesty that is Gaia, I dunno. I'll go back to it someday and give it a fair shot. Also, in my opinion Secret of Mana was the best game on the SNES. I enjoyed that game far more than Chrono Trigger and Final Fantasy III/VI. Secret of Evermore was fun, but it just didn't resonate with me as much as Mana did. I would LOVE an HD remake of Secret of Mana, as long as it stays exactly true to the original. I couldn't get into Seken Densetsu 3. I dunno why, I just thought it wasn't as fun as Mana. Another game I'll have to go back to and give a fair shot.
  17. In no particular order: StarTropics (Seriously, why hasn't this happened yet!?) Smash TV The Addams Family (The SNES games were better platformers than Mario in my opinion. Just make it EXACTLY like them and I'll be happy) Illusion of Gaia Actraiser Adventure Island
  18. If this is the Sega thing, they just changed today. http://www.gamespot.com/articles/sega-is-giving-away-free-games-on-steam-update/1100-6434841/?utm_source=gamefaqs&utm_medium=partner&utm_content=news_module&utm_campaign=homepage
