  1. Here's hoping Felipe has a speedy recovery He's one of two Ferrari test drivers, yes, the other being Marc Gené.
  2. Cut N Move did a cover of it.
  3. Wanna do this solo nufan or would you like a little help, imparting the great Victorian spirit and our great game on these peons? Because I can tell you, Collingwood will choke, gargle and fall splat to Geelong next week (well, I hope not), then we get to the real stuff.
  4. Keane scoring twice in 2 games is enough for me to believe we're staying up. Still, we need to be more clinical against the true relegation battlers [/captain obvious]
  5. Play 4-1-4-1 away from home, defend deeper, increase time wasting and play a more long ball game. Don't have to do them all, but they'll all help in some manner. Way I'm going... I'll give anything a try... Except anything by Kou, as Hull got relegated
  6. I'm playing as Birmingham... Standard 4-4-2 formation... home, it works fine... away we suck... I have a limited transfer and wage bill, so buying players is unlikely (no-one wants to sign with Derby anyway)... Top 6 finish is all I want... So ummm... Help?
  7. My mind is less than great... However, as Aza is sleeping The relegation comeback kings... tottenham... I need there GMT start times, please? also. we have a game tonight, yeah?
  8. It was a good win for Zimbabwe, right on par with Bangladesh beating Australia in the 2005 NatWest Series, and made it worth getting up at 2am to watch it. (this coming from an aussie) Here's hoping they can repeat the dose against England.
  9. Latest Cup Results: Game 6: England: 7/209 (50 overs) K. Pietersen 60 (92) P. Nixon 42* (41) lost to New Zealand: 4/210 (41 overs) S. Styris 87* (113) J. Oram 63* (83) by 7 wickets. Game 7: South Africa: 3/353 (40 overs) J. Kallis 128 (109) M. Boucher 75* (31) H. Gibbs 72* (40) G. Smith 67 (59) (During his innings of 72 not out, Herschelle Gibbs became the first player in International cricket to hit 6 sixes off one over, that bowled by Daan van Bunge. http://content-aus.cricinfo.com/australia/...ory/285608.html ) defeated Netherlands: 9/132 (40 overs) R. ten Doeschate 57 (74) by 231 runs.
  10. Minnow squads for the upcoming World Cup: Source: http://www.cricinfo.com/worldcup2007/squads/ Bermuda: IH Romaine (captain) DC Borden LO Cann DL Hemp K Hurdle M Jones S Kelly DM Leverock DA Minors (wicketkeeper) - vice-captain S Mukuddem SD Outerbridge OL Pitcher CJ Smith JJ Tucker Kwame Tucker (wicketkeeper) Canada: JM Davison (captain) A Bagai (wicketkeeper) - vice-captain GEF Barnett U Bhatti IS Billcliff DR Chumney A Codrington GR Codrington AC Cummins S Dhaniram AA Mulla (wicketkeeper) H Osinde Qaiser Ali AM Samad KT Sandher Random "fun" fact: AC Cummins is the former West Indian fast bowler, who has a one day international bowling average of 30.55 (86 wickets). However, he's approaching 41 years of age, and in a recent "minnows" tournament where he played 8 matches, took only 5 wickets at an average of 48.60 (whilst conceding more than a run a ball). 11. Good win by Australia yesterday, but also a good moral victory for the English, in that we couldn't bowl them out, and congrats to my favourite pom Darren Gough for making his highest ODI score. Random Notes: 1) Shane Watson - Sure, he's a fine batsman, and useful bowler... But last time I checked, no other Aussie all-rounder was spooked by a ghost. He'll be a great player.....When he matures. 2) Jason Gillespie - Is he 100% fit? He stretches a lot during his overs anyway, but yesterday he seemed more concerned than normal, especially when clutching at the hammy (did twice). 3) (for the English or anyone who watches channel 7's coverage in the land down under) Nasser Hussain is right - Nasser was never great at picking the Aussies, but what if he's right about the Australians peaking at the Natwest Final, and carrying on through the Ashes? Could us crafty Aussies be lulling the Poms into a false sense of security? Rather than add a 2nd edit: I'm not so sure the Aussies are back Chris, I mean, we couldn't dismiss either Gough or Harmison... Signs look good for the Aussies, but until we can skittle you guys properly, England are still justthatbit ahead of Australia... After all, you guys can beat Bangladesh, so bad that Paul Collingwood scored a ton and took 6-fer.
