  1. Whatever, I thought this episode was awesome, mainly because Britney looks fantastic and her and Santana both have great voices. To be honest, the episodes where they do all one person's stuff never really push any storylines along any way.

  2. Well that's not unexpected. I really liked Lone Star but that type of show was never going to be around long, especially at Fox. Honestly it seemed better for a channel like FX or even somewhere like AMC, where it would be given the chance to catch its footing and build a following.

On another note, I really like Detroit 187. The quasi Documentary thing they have going on really works well with a police procedural show and seems to give it a gritty feeling.

  3. I don't know if it is just me, but I get surprised all the time when I find out an actor I like has been in another show I've watched. I was shocked when I found out that the guy that plays the lead character on Sons of Anarchy was the English roommate from Undeclared. I also just found out that the guy that plays Hardison on Leverage was Voodoo Tatum on Friday Night Lights.

Anyone have any others? I'm sure I'll have more when I look some more.

  4. Supernatural:

New Supernatural was great, although it seemed a bit lame to suddenly have a bunch of new people appear. I do want to know why Sam was pulled out of hell and the grandfather was pulled from heaven and I'm holding out hope that we see their father again at some point this season as well.

  5. I don't know about this episode really, there were some things I liked, like everything with Sunshine, Rachel showing she's a huge bitch and Will and Sue teaming up for a short while. What I really hated was that god awful version of Empire State of Mind. Artie rapping about selling crack is just about the lamest thing I can possibly think of. They should really just stay away from most rap, it never really turns out well.

  6. Ok, I've watched nearly everything that's come out so far and here's my thoughts:

Lone Star: Really interesting show, great ideas and hopefully it catches on because I'd like to see how the main character is able to balance this double life of his.

The Event: I wasn't a fan of Lost, mainly because I didn't watch it from the get go. I saw the first episode of this and was slightly underwelmed but there was enough there for me to give it a couple more episodes.

Hawaii Five-O: If you can get a show with good characters, some action and throw a little comedy in there I'm usually all over it. I really enjoyed this so hopefully they keep up with this.

Chase: One of the main characters said it, cat and mouse with guns. I should hate stuff like this but eh, it was pretty good.

Detroit 187: I liked the semi documentary style they used, Detroit is an interesting location and Michael Imperioli is always fun to watch.

  7. So I watched my second new show of the year: Outlaw. Not really anything groundbreaking and if Jimmy Smits wasn't in it, I'd stop watching it already because its super generic. I'm going to give it one more episode to make me give a shit and then drop it. RZA appearance was nice though.

  8. Big ol' clusterfuck but I enjoyed most of it. Sookie laughing as she dumped the remains down the sink made me laugh pretty hard, I liked the resolution with the King, the Lafayette stuff actually was really interesting and Bill came off as a super douche, which I really enjoyed. How exactly did Eric get out of the silver chains though? If they keep Tara around next season (and they will) I'm hoping they give her something interesting to do, or else the cutting of the hair/saying goodbye to everyone and bailing will be for nothing. Overall a decent episode and a long ass wait until next summer.

  9. some of the slowest and least rewarding character development going.

You could say that about every single AMC show though. All of their shows have a completely different pace than anything else on TV right now. It's good for a changeup but I personally couldn't sit down and watch more than two episodes of Mad Men or anything else by them in a row.

  10. What a depressing episode. The ending was awesome but it seemed to be one gut shot after another. The thing with Gemmas dad just seemed to be piling on top of everything else.

Hale dying sucked, he was a good character and a total dickhead but it was shocking and realistic and shit is definitely going to hit the fan.

Did anyone notice who was talking to Clay about transferring to Charming?

Lem! I really hope they kill him off in some brutal and ridiculous way though. Just for old times sake.

  11. I feel the same way about six feet under. I got through about 2 or 3 episodes before I totally lost interest. Right now I'm chugging along with Mad Men, I'm on the second episode of the second season and if all goes well I should hopefully be done with the second season before everything comes back on TV. I've sort of made a list of everything coming back that I already like and the new shows that I want to check out and I'm going to have my hands full if I want to give everything a shot.

  12. I actually watched the Layfayette stuff this week and it was fucking weird. Good, but fucking weird. I'm intrested in seeing if we find out how widespread the V usage is too, seems like everyone is using it. Erics plan is pretty much suicide but I definately don't see him dying here. I think this is the end for the King and hopefully Franklyn returns again because we need an awesome villain for next season.
