  1. Newcastle suck too. Now, if he where to get you an Everton shirt, he's got it right. They're a proper team.
  2. I got that album today, and I am so disappointed. Leaving New York is the only good song, and even thats poor for REM.
  3. Charlton did get Rommendahl, so you might get him. I want to know where all these relegation strugglers get the money from, they just seem to produce like £6m for players etc. ←
  4. If it was about money, Rooney could've stayed at Everton, signed a new contract and picked up £55k a week. He won't be making much more than that with Man Utd. He fell out with Moyes and whatever efforts that were made by the club to patch things up were ignored, on the advice of his "advisors", who have done more to harm his career than anyone. In other news, Sky Sports reckon Everton have bid for Benni Mcarthy. Yeah, lets leave European Cup winners Porto for relegation strugglers Everton.
  5. Rooney has been spotted at Man Utd's training ground, so a deal has most likely been agreed and he is taking a medical. Where will Rooney fit in? If you play a front three, Rooney-Smith-RVN, who do you leave out in midfield? Giggs? Scholes? Keane? Ronaldo?
  6. According to the Everton directors, a third team has expressed an interest. Rumour has it it will be Barcalona.
  7. Forlan has already gone, to Levante if memory serves. I doubt Moyes would want Bellion, and now Butt has gone and Solskaer (sp?) is injured, Man Utd don't have that many players we would realistically get for Rooney. Moyes has said if he doesn't get the offer he wants for Rooney, then he will stay, and see out his contract. That offer is probably around £25 - 27 million, so it's still some way off from United, and even if Newcastle did meet the value, I can't see Rooney wanting to go there. As I type, they are 1 - 1 with Norwich, and until they get at least 2 centre backs, they won't move forward. I expect Rooney to leave, but not now. January would be better for Everton, as Moyes would have more time to spend whatever money is received wisely, and the reaction his move may be less, as Everton fans would have had time to accept it, as there are a few who still think he will never leave.
  8. Well, they are both central midfielders, it's just that Viera does more all round work than Nedved.
  9. Imbrahimovic wouldn't go to France, so I'd go after Luis Fabiano for around £7 million. from Sao Paulo, before AC Milan get there first. Dellas, to replace Van Buyten who I think has gone to Hamburg. Roma would probably accept around £3 million. Van Bommel, for around £3 million. Miguel, for around £5 million. And Wiltord on a free, with money to spare.
  10. Either Kezman, Cisse or Van Persie, although I would be interested to see if Kluivert gets his arse in gear and actually does something for Newcastle.
  11. Source If this happened, I would find it hard to complain about the Everton midfield when he's playing.
  12. Yeah, becasue The Sun's legal team regularly visit EWB. Everton have almost signed Tim Cahill (Thank God) for £2 million, while Radzinski is having a medical with Fulham, and will leave for £1.75 million. EDIT: Somehow I quoted twice. Strange.

He does, and I would've thought that every song recorded by The Beatles would be included in that, but it could be just every song released. Still, I think Jacko has other things on his mind right now.
  14. And Drogba has had 2 decent seasons, while Crespo has done it consistently in Italy and Argentina for years.
  15. Bolton where strongly linked with Camara, so I'd guess if he doesn't stay at Wolves, that's where he will end up. There or some average French team.
  16. Well, Savage has signed a new contract at Brum, after Evertons offer was rejected, which was no suprise once it came out that it was £1.5 million upfront, with the rest due in 2008 IF Everton where still in the Premiership. Call me cynical, but this feels like the Everton board just saying to the fans "See, we are trying to sign people!". And Theo Zagorakis has been released by AEK Athens, who need to clear the wage bill.
  17. I've got to hope, I can't face the prospect of Linderoth/Li Tie in our midfield next season. With those two, we'll be lucky to string 3 passes together next season. Gah...it's just been confirmed. Well, get your money on Everton to go down, Rooney or not.
  18. Take the lazy, overpaid bastard, please! And Davis hasn't signed for Spurs yet, he still needs to agree terms and pass a medical. Yes, that sound was a desperate Everton fan hoping that the one quality player we had a chance of singing hasn't gone somewhere else.
