  1. Last one I went to was in August, Ozzfest in Auburn. Loved every minute of it, and here's who I saw. 2nd Stage Gizmachi Soilwork It Dies Today Bury your Dead The Haunted A Dozen Furies Mastodon As I Lay Dying Killswitch Engage Main Stage In Flames Black Label Society Shadows Fall Mudvayne Didn't stay for Ozzy or Maiden cause we had to start heading back early. I'll definately be going next year.
  2. The local GameStop(or whatever the name is of it, it's EB relate) is accepting reservations for 50 bucks, so I'm going to reserve one as soon as I get my books sorted out(still haven't bought them, and classes have started.)
  3. Knights of the Old Republic(X-Box) Just a kick ass game that started getting me into RPGs. The combat style was cool as it allowed me to run away from battles if I was getting my ass handed to me. That and a GREAT story definately showed me games could still recapture my imagination. Parasite Eve(Playstation) One of the few thriller RPGs that really scared the heck out of me. The music and the gritty graphics really hit some chords in my mind, and I enjoyed the hell out of the storyline. That and I knew what Mitochondria was(I played this after I went to a Genetics Internship.) Zelda: Ocarina of Time(N64) It is so rare that I will get attached to the characters of the storyline where I get lost and think that I'm the main protagonist/antagonist. This was one of those games. I could not playing anything else for months after this came out, even after I already beat it a few times. One of the true and very few games to capture my imagination. EA's Fight Night Series(Multi-platform) I remember Knockdown Kings and it was a pretty fun game, but when this game came out it was one of the best upgrades I've ever seen for a boxing game. I loved in FN1 that you could customize your entrance more deeply than in Round 2. The actual gameplay is really entertaining too, forcing you to be a protective boxer or an accurate power puncher if you don't want to tire out. Round 3 sounds insane(rivalries, specifically targeted training practices, no HUD(it's the second option now), showing highlight reels of game footage to hype up matches), and will no doubt lift my imagination again. I'm sure there are others, just can't think of em right now.
  4. Killswitch Engage-Metal Avenged Sevenfold-Hard Rock(possibly, Waking the Fallen is "hardest") Arch Enemy-Metal In Flames-Metal Mudvayne(you already have this I spose)-Metal Shadows Fall-Metal That's all I got(some others were mentioned)
  5. If you have Xbox live already it carries over into the Xbox 360 as the Gold package. At least that's what I get from the jist(I think I read something like that on IGN.) EDIT: Beat to the punch As for me, I'm saving up for all three. Hence why I'm getting a job sometime soon to save up(oh yeah.)
  6. No core drive, no headset, no HDTV cables, and some other shit too. Overall it's a better deal to get the pricier version(as more bang for your buck).
  7. I would, but my fucking bank decided to allow a 100 dollar bill for AOL to get onto my credit card when I only had 3 dollars on it and sent me in the red. It was the third time something like that happened and because of that I can't get a bank account until 3 months after the final re-payment is made to the bank. I got it in July, so October I should have an account. Still, I could probably buy a year subscription and get that on my mom's account...
  8. When I watched the hall of fame game, Kyle Orton looked really good. Him and Bradley(I think that's him, can't remember his name but he's a rookie wide receiver) hooked up quite a bit when they led them to victory over the Dolphins. Saw a little of that Raven's game, defense looks great. I'm also very happy to hear that Seneca Wallace looked good in the pre-season, ran 28 yards or so for a TD and passed another one. I'm pretty sure he will be a good back-up for them.(Going to watch it tomorrow.)
  9. No wonder why people laugh at music educators... This does however inspire me to hold a video game night when I get to direct a choir EDIT: The MK piece was just too hilarious! I've come to the conclusion that music people are lost hopes. I already know they're crazy, but god, this just proves it.
  10. Just went to the Hawks training camp today(9 hour drive back home), and hell it was fun. Got autographs from Alexander, Hasselbeck, Trufant, Sharper, Wistrom, Hamlin, Mack Strong, and a few others. Hawks are my team, and I believe they won't do too bad this year, definately hoping for a playoff victory this year. I'm also going to get tickets for a season game in November, so I'm very excited.
  11. I can't even play Kingdom Hearts anymore, the music alone starts to make me cry. Not because the game is overly sad(it is sad in spots, but not overly sad), but it's mainly because of the fact my ex-girlfriend made me buy the game. Had a blast with it, we both played it together and would hold each other during the menu song(the piano one.) Needless to say everytime I hear that song I automatically wish for those days and mourn. Yeah, I'm a pussy, I accept it.
  12. ESPN Football 2K5 8/10 I love the controls for this game as it doesn't feel too fast paced like Madden. However this is just merely a fix until tomorrow when I get NCAA Football 2006.
  13. Let's see, I'll be leaving on the 28th of July(I think, I'll check for sure) and I'll be gone for 5 days. Also on the 10th I'll be leaving and wont' be back til late on the 12th, so the 13th is okay. Oh yeah, I'm in if I can still do this.
  14. Just let me know if there's room, and if there is, send me a PM with all the details to join.
  15. Going to see it Friday, it's actually playing at the local cinema 30 miles away on opening day(a first for them.) Looking forward to it because of all the good reviews.
  16. Let's see... A Beautiful Mind(also Horner) Anything by Craig Armstrong(He's fairly new) Danny Elfman(Spiderman films, Edward Scissorhands) Sean Callery(I only recommend the 24 soundtrack as I don't know his other work) Adagio for Strings by Samuel Barber(theme from Platoon) Halo Video game scores Final Fantasy Game scores Dang...I know some more. I'll post more if I think of em.
  17. Demon Days-Gorillaz Definately worth the money paid for it.
  18. I'll comment through my DA account, didn't know you were on there.
  19. EA Fight Night Round 2-9/10 Just finished my second career, going onto a third one(feather/welterweight)
  20. One game I'm looking forward to is 24, based off the TV series. Don't get me wrong, I orgasmed at all the prospects of PS3 games and Xbox 360 things and the new GTA game and Zelda, but this is one I'm sure a lot of people glanced over. The game will take 24 hours to complete(unless you beat stuff pretty fast), and has lots of gameplay types(networking, interrogation, run and gun, driving). It's supposed to take place between seasons 2 and 3. One cool thing I heard from IGN is that in one part of the game you have 5 minutes to get information from a certain place. If you get it done early the game resets itself and the ticking clock appears to get it back on track, however, if you don't get the information in the alloted time you either start that segment over again OR continue on through the game without the knowledge to figure out the bigger threat at hand. Also I heard that there is supposedly no load times, and if there is it's just the ticking clock. I really do hope that they pull the gameplay aspect of it, but nevertheless it's awesome for someone like me who likes the show.
  21. That frickin promo on Direct TV for NFL Sunday Ticket, has the melody of "The Golden Ticket" on the Charlie and the Chocolate Factory movie.
  22. God...I haven't cracked up that bad at South Park since the Woodland Critter episode. The Hippie Digger was just great...and the part where Stan's parents think about what they did at Woodstock was awesome too.
  23. Yeah, definately have this one in my collection. It's a tie between Harajuku Girls, Luxurious, and What You Waiting For as my favorite song off the album.
