  1. if I had the $$$ , I'd buy a DS just for advanced wars. I've logged so many hours into advanced wars 1 and 2
  2. I have a phillips and I've never had any problems whatsoever with my xbox reading any sort of media, whether it's DVD+R, -R, RW, CD-R, CD-RW, etc. Although TDK usually run the best for some reason.
  3. Indy over Carolina or Atlanta in the superbowl. Indy looked great against Baltimore, offense and defensive. Despite Baltmore having a terrible Offense, Indy's D was fantastic, I gotta give it to them.
  4. I don't believe what I said constitutes a violation of the rules, but I don't want to get into it either. I just think I followed the guidelines of this area correctly. Either way, I found rosters for ESPN NFL 2K5 that are for the 2006 season, so I'll be playing that.
  5. Today, I snapped my madden disc in half to ensure that I'll never play it again. Good thing I paid $0. It's the worst excuse of a football game, ever. I'm sick of "just living with" everything I hate about the game, and only playing the game because I don't have a choice. Looks like I'll just be sticking to ESPN Hockey and Basketball this year, because EA can go fuck off for all I care.
  6. I intentionally broke my first xbox controller today, out of frustration. You see, I play Madden because I have to, not because I want to. Being a die-hard football fan, if I want to play a video game of the sport I love, I HAVE to play madden because I don't have a choice. There's just so much crap wrong with it it's not funny. Why did I break my controller? Because I was at the end of my season, 1 win away from playoffs as the cardinals, playing on all pro, I was down by 3, 6 yards away from a TD, 1st down. I cant think of name of the play right now, but it's the one where my RB runs to the sideline and then you pass to them, I pass... and a middle linebacker intercepts it and runs it back for a 94 yard TD return. That would never happen in real life, because it was a bullet pass to him, and that linebacker would be an idiot to put himself in a position to behind the RB, instead of in front of him. So yeah, I slammed my controller down, and the casing broke. I thought it was gnarly. The only other time I've broken an xbox controller is when I dropped a 20LB binder on one. BTW, I was playing on all pro.
  7. Why be guilty of anything? Who are you trying to impress with your musical tastes? I listen to death/progressive metal mainly, I'd go so far as to call myself a book of progressive knowledge, but I still have people, like, oh say, avril lavigne and Christina aguilera on my pc that I listen to, and if anyone asks, I tell them I listen to everything from metal they've never heard of time pop like that. Hell, I even got 50/g-unit/banks/buck/eminem/ludacris/etc on my pc that I listen to way more then I probably should. Point being, being embrassed to listen to something you like is ridiculous.
  8. XBL GT: CKY2J I usually just play halo 2 an hour or so a day, but I have MVP 05, ESPN NFL, NBA AND NHL 2k5, Counterstrike, Splinter cell: pandora tomorrow, All star baseball 2005, Rainbow six 3: black arrow, madden 05 and tetris.
  9. **FFX Spoilers*** FFX is the only game that put me in tears a number of times. The end was just the saddest, by far. But in the end, it left hope, when you saw Tidus swimming. I never played FFX-I, so I don't know how that all went. Also, the "I hate you" to Jecht thing as well. Also, the scene where they're in the water that one night, but it was a happy crying.
  10. man, Attitude was some of the funnest moments I had with wrestling games. In attitude, the gameplay wasn't the best, but you could make literally ANYONE without putting a lot of time into them. It was cool because me and my friend made four of our teachers, made a bet, put them all on CPU and had a 4 way match to see who won.
