I'm looking for some more good podcasts to listen to as I don't listen to that many. That said, here's what I do listen to:
Cat & Cthulhu - A friend of mine writes this, and another one narrates it. It's tales are rather hit and miss
Downloadble Content - Penny Arcade podcast
The Guild - Just an iTunes version of The Guild
BBC HeroesCast - This one is a bit middling too
The Lost Initiative - UK Lost podcast, I think it's great myself (An EWB member has been on this, but can't recall details)
NoobToob - A recommendation by someone, it's again middling and another gaming podcast
Official Lost Podcast - 'Nuff said
Official Ugly Betty Podcast - Shut your face
Stephen Fry's Podgrams - If you don't listen to and enjoy these, slap yourself
Yu-Gi-Oh: Abridged - Just the podcastable version of the thing
2P Start Live! - The podcast for the webcomic of the same name

David Tennant is in negotiations to play the lead role in a new film version of Doctor Who, it has been reported.
The actor, who is currently only contracted for five more episodes, has reportedly agreed to star as the Doctor in a full fifth series in 2010 if the big screen role can be added to a new deal.
BBC managers are seeking funding for the film, according to The Sun newspaper. A corporation source said: "For ages, BBC Worldwide held the rights and were planning to make a movie, but it got held up and former BBC1 boss Lorraine Heggessey decided to bring back the TV series in 2005.
"But everyone is keen now and the fans are clamouring. Part of David's conundrum is that he wants to do films, so this looks like it would solve both issues."
Russell T. Davies, the outgoing producer and writer of the program, said he would like Catherine Zeta Jones to play the Doctor's companion in a film version.
Last month Steven Moffat, Mr Davies's successor, said: "It would be good to see it in the cinema so long as it's fantastic."
Mr Tennant, who is appearing as Hamlet for the Royal Shakespeare Company in Stratford-upon-Avon, has already filmed this year's Dr Who Christmas episode.
Two previous film versions of the series have been made. Peter Cushing took the lead role in 1965, and Paul McGann starred as the Time Lord in 1996.

I love SpoilerTV so so much.
-
What was it promoting/linked with?
-
I said spoilers and the topic being marked season three. Kinda thought that was enough...
-
So, now I have bought season two and season three starts in a few days. I bring with me SPOILERS!
Spoiler: Click here to view- Seth Green confirms having a part in Season 3
- Kristin Dos Santos has confirmed that Sylar will have a baby with another Hero. As seen in this video she hints that it could be either Elle, Claire or Niki/Tracy.
- In the Season 2 DVD there is a deleted scene in which Kaito Nakamura’s power is revealed. Kaito says he can “see the variables of any situation and predict the outcome.” He claims he is faster than a computer and attributes his success in the stock market to this ability.
Just the best few that I can find.

I was running along pretty easily, but now some things are starting to get me in to the red warning zone, and no Curaga yet. More missions methinks.
-
Back on Crisis Core now. Was there anything of value in that place near Mondeoheim that you infiltrate? I got really annoyed and just battled instead. I dunno whether this needs spoiler tags, but just in case:
Spoiler: Click here to viewAlso, during the bit on the beach where Zack uses a parasol as his weapon was when I first got Genesis' DMW Limit. Hilarious to watch. Also got Octaslash and Meteor Rain (though it's called something else...). Looked very funny.

I'll back the Smash Bros. Brawl again. I usually start it, have a few quick brawls to warm myself up and then carry on with the excellent story mode. I'm trying Hard difficulty atm. You also get a new stage every day (for that day only) over WiFi which is nice (you also get a snapshot and replay but pfft). The online play can be a little laggy, but I've only experienced minor problems with it.
Also another Mario recommendation, Mario Strikers Charged.

PLEASANT
Daniel & Mary-Sue, Jun & Ross
Current Season: Fall
So, I started, got bored. Surrounded the Pleasant's bed (while they were asleep) with fire things and they burned to death. I decided not to save and instead all this happened instead;
Daniel WooHooed with Kaylynn of course. She left just before Mary-Sue got home, and then those two WooHooed and Mary-Sue is pregnant, though not yet showing it. Kaylynn and Daniel have not hung out since. Daniel also wanted to get a kitten, so I adopted Ross a small black kitten. Then he wanted another one (and seeing as Mary-Sue's LTA is the 6 pets reach top of career) so I adopted Jun, a small white female kitten with the intention of breeding them later.
TRAVELLERTrent, Trisha & Tina
Current Season: ???
Trisha was mysteriously trapped by those fun little fire things. She burned to death while her husband, Trent, similarly trapped had all of his stats lowered. Angry at him for this, his daughter locked him outside of the house after he escaped the fire unscathed. (Oh good lord, it took my whole living room and kitchen, it was amazing) He later collapsed due to starvation and Tina was taken away. She will be adopted by Don & Cassandra.
LOTHARIOCassandra & Don, Scout
Current Season: Fall
Don & Cassandra moved out of the Goth mansion to a smaller place. Don is busy studying up for promotion and waiting for Cassandra's belly to grow. Cassandra has made friends with and now adopted a small dog named Scout.
UNIVERSITY
THAYERMeadow
Current Season: Finished!
I got carried away last night and Meadow has finished her Physics degree. She managed to WooHoo with about seven Sims, only one of whom was male. She seduced her Nature hobby tutor, Nanae Philipine too. Later she moved in to a house of her own, and WooHooed with Brandon Lilard, the only male love of her life, and gave birth to twin girls, now named Spring & Summer.
-
She doesn't seem as pointless as Farah was in the first game
-
My games hacked to hell and custom content'd up to the nines. Although I don't use too much custom content these days, although some of the houses I downloaded are much easier to deal with than some of the shit Maxis try and make you play in.
Do you mind posting links to the custom stuff you do have? (If you can remember where you got it from of course)
-
Cool, I'll preorder simply for the soundtrack I think
-
So I restarted being a little bored of my old families, so forget all you know about them and prepare for a new update!
BROKEBrandi, Dustin, Beau and Jack
Current Season: Fall
Dustin went straight off to college prior to playing as the Brokes. He's there together with Dirk Dreamer. Brandi ballooned out as always, and then they moved in to a new place, called Toshiko Trailers (I was watching Torchwood) and now they rent a sizeable trailer there. Brandi has not yet given birth apparently.
BURBJohn, Jennifer and Lucy
Current Season: Fall
Moved in to Brandi's old house (though I didn't realise this when moving them in) and got things set up. Easily got Lucy in to private school, which was much easier without John Burb in the way, whom was in the backyard pool, drowning. Working on finding Jennifer a new love now that John has gone under the same way as Skip Snr. I'm going to try and kill off one person each time a new family moves in to the house. Lucy will be off to college soon and she's getting A+'s.
CALIENTENina and Dina
Current Season: Fall
Dina went away and married Mortimer Goth pretty quickly. This left Nina on her own, so she moved to a flat instead and bought herself a bitching car to celebrate. She invited Don over later that week and is now pregnant. I got her a job before that, but can't remember what in.
DREAMERDarren and Dirk
Current Season: Fall
Dirk's gone, as I mentioned before. Darren paid all his bills leaving him with almost no money. He's just going to keep painting and try and struggle through instead of getting a real job.
GOTHMortimer, Cassandra, Alex
Current Season: Summer
Cassandra got married to Don Lothario succesfully. Cassandra is now pregnant. Alex, I've kind of left to do his own thing before getting to college. I did set up a study area though, otherwise Alex leaves his homework at the side of the fucking fence. Dina also married Mortimer, leaving us with a quite full house, so Cassandra and Don may move out and get a place of their own, and move back in just before Mortimer croaks.
LOTHARIODon
Current Season: Summer
See GOTH.
OLDIEHerb & Coral
Current Season: Fall
Bloody hell, I made them interesting to play as! They moved in to Oaks Apartment buildings or something, and looked for a roommate, just to test it out. I chose Jill Feig, and eventually she became a playable character instead because of her and Herb getting on. Coral got a job in the Mililtary career, just to bring in some cash, but Jill is in Paranormal, so I'd like to get her to the top of that career for the Ressurect-O-Nomitron. Herb got Jill pregnant, and then Coral has started to chat to the guy upstairs who has a real like for old women apparently, as they've done everything short of WooHoo in his apartment.
PLEASANTDaniel, Mary-Sue, Angela & Lilith
Current Season: Summer
Angela & Lilith went to college. Not played as Daniel and Mary-Sue yet though.
-
Out of curiosity, since I haven't played it in a while. Say you have two guys (or two girls) living in a house. One of them falls in love, and she proposes, that person moves in correct? (I remember when I played that whomever proposed, that's whose house they'd live in...then again, it was always the guy proposing). Anyway, does the other person (the other girl or guy) have to move out? Or does it become a 3 person home? If that's possible, I'll try to work something where the woman supports him while he hooks up with the roommate as well (or the guy supports her while she hooks up with his roommate). I'd like to see how long I can keep that going before the other person finds out.
It becomes a three person home, so if Sim A, living with Sim B, marries Sim C ; then Sim A & Sim C share a surname whilst Sim B is still in the house. Should I restart when I install the new expansion...?

1. Final Fantasy VII (PSOne)
So many hours poured in to this game, it can't not be my number one. So much to do, and a storyline I love every time I play.
2. Pokémon Emerald (GameBoy Advance)
Pokémon started again for me when Ruby & Sapphire came out and Emerald took all the things that were a bit shit in it, threw them away and made some new stuff for itself. The Battle Frontier still has me returning to it occasionally these days.
3. Tombi (PSOne)
nah, nah, nah, nah, nah, nah, nah, nah, nah, nah, nah, nah, nah, nah, nah, nah, nah, nah, nah, nah, nah, nah, nah, nah, nah, nah, nah, nah, nah, nah, nah, nah, ooooh NO SWEAT! Fuck you if you didn't love this game. There's a flying dog, leaf butterflies and a fellow with bright pink hair who rides pigs around and throws them at each other. Also, there's Charles the monkey.
4. Prince Of Persia: The Sands Of Time (PS2)
This game was amazing and got me in to the Prince Of Persia things and I now eagerly the new one.
5. Secret Of Mana (SNES)
As someone else said, why has no-one else voted for this yet. Apart from the massive leaps in difficulty (going from the forests to the witches castle and such) it's a really fun game. The spells are done very cooly and battling freely as opposed to the random encounters is something I like. (Though random encounters are fine too, see choice #1)
6. Kingdom Hearts II (PS2)
Hehehe. Xemnas = Mansex. Anyways, putting Disney & Square together, should not, by all logic, work at all. Yet it does and the storyline is so fucking complex but I enjoy it and it has similar battles to SoM (though on a 3D plain etc.). The boss battles are slightly challenging considering one of it's intended audiences and on that note there are bits I could do without in it. (Please cut out the crappy Mermaid singing Squenix. Keep Winnie The Pooh though...)
7. Monster Rancher (2 in USA, 1 in EU) (PSOne)
Insert Monster Rancher. Visit Shrine. Get CD/PSOne disc. Insert in to Playstation system when told. Place Monster Rancher back in. Now here's a kick ass monster made from your piece of crap CD. HOW FUCKING AWESOME IS THAT? While writing this list, me and my little brother have just recounted Monster Rancher memories, such as me ending up with Walls or Jells all the time, or how my other brother's gargoyle snake things always died and after the seventh one, he stopped with funerals and how they were always fed on potatoes and then bitched about it and ran away for weeks on end. Erm...yeah, get it if you can.
8. The Sims 2 (PC/Mac?)
I can blame this for my no social life right? No? Crap. Man, The Sims gets worse when you compare it against other neighbourhoods. Benji says I'm a terrible Sim god, simply because of an event casually referred to as The First Great Pleasantview Fire, which claimed many lifes. They're all healthy zombies now though.
9. Pokémon Pearl (DS)
The latest in the Pokémon game franchise makes a bold attempt to use all of the DS' capabilites, but I still find it a little lacking. There's still a lot to do each day and I've yet to begin EV training a team for the Battle Tower (congrats if you know what I'm on about Pokénerd) and now My Pokémon Ranch is demanding three different Pokémon off me a day so it keeps me busy. The WiFi is nice and the GTS would work better if it seemed half the world weren't retarded. The lacking thing I think is what made me love Emerald, the Battle Frontier, but fortunately it returns in Pokémon Platinum.
10. Super Mario Bros. 3 (NES)
Yeah, screw Jade Cocoon
I think that's it...
Those that were considered and never made it: Civ III, Super Bomberman 2, Super Paper Mario, Super Mario Land 2: The Six Golden Coins, Battletoads, Rad Gravity, Super Mario Kart, Mario Kart: Double Dash!!, Tekken Tag Tournament, Jade Cocoon
-
I really, really want to play the Sims but it's just too fucking much for me to install ALL the addons and find ALL the other content and then learn about ALL the 400 new things that they've added this time, gah.
Just try and get one of the Double Deluxe packs and then it'll start you off with three games anyways and usually it's the regular Sims 2, Nightlife and another one. People consider Nightlife and Seasons as essentials usually.

Any songs that if you see somewhere on the interwebs (like on last.fm or something) or in a newspaper review or something that you immediately want to listen to? I was looking at my own last.fm and realised I had Harder To Breathe by Maroon 5 on my playlist thing, so I had to go and listen to it right away because I remembered how much I liked it.
Also, just a small note, I hate it when I start to sing a song I don't have. Been singing Delilah after hearing it in a shop and don't have it on this laptop. :-(
-
If it's on handheld, there's usually TV/DVD playing or internet at the ready. If it's console usually not much else. Perhaps some music
-
Is Raphael still in this? The foppish one from the second game, he was my favourite character.
Yeah, Raphael is still in. Loved him in II and he's still cool
-
Right I am a SC noob.
What is B and K? Block and Kick?
What buttons should I press to do it on the 360?
Yeah, if you check the move list, it will tell you what SC letters = what button you press.
-
How do you levitate and do force lightning?
Down + A & B and then Up will Force Levitate you and then I think the lightning is a B+K.
Yeah, I think it's B+K
-
Clearly this means EWB must come up with a more comprehensive list.
The EWB Top 100, anyone?
If you can be bothered to do it, we did have the character one a while back too which was good.
-
So, GAME have done it in the wrong order for a countdown list like this, so I can't be bothered changing it. Agree? Disagree? Discuss.

I watched this a few months ago and agree with what you say. Very cool film. Also made me want to play Prince Of Persia afterwards too (you know after realising if I attempted what they did, I'd die)
