I do however want to see Liverpool players do well for their respective countries, and I'm hoping that Stevie G and Michael Owen both have a good Euro 2004, but I'm mainly just hoping they don't pick up injuries.

IMO, he'd have been a good signing for a top Premiership club a few seasons ago. Now though, he's a huge gamble, especially with the high wages he is sure to demand. Plus the fact that he has been going downhill for Barca.
