I got bored of L4D quickly, but Survival mode looks like it's going to pull me back in. Lighthouse sounds interesting; lots of supplies for your team but there's no place to hide/camp.

Larger spoiler (seriously, if you don't want the game spoiled, don't click it. Warning you.)Spoiler: Click here to viewI'm serious!Spoiler: Click here to view
Jill's the hooded person, and she's working with Wesker.
That should be a huge spoiler, but Capcom makes it pretty obvious who the hooded figure is in their trailers.

Fuck the last stage. It's one of the worst stages ever.
Spoiler: Click here to viewYou're trapped in a room with Rico, fighting wave after wave of Higs. The first section is easy, they attack from one position at the beginning. Later on they begin to attack from all sides.Section 2 has you fighting from a balcony. It's easy at first, the Higs are below you, so you got an advantage. After a while, the Higs start storming both sides of the balcony. Rico dies within seconds, leaving you alone to fight Higs from the right and left all at the same fucking time. It's fucking hard as hell, because once you take down the Higs in front of you, you turn around and either get blasted by two or more Higs or get knifed by an Elite.
What makes it worse is that the damn checkpoint doesn't kick in until you start the next section, which takes about 10+ minutes.

Split-screen co-op got nixed a bit back because of supposedly how taxing it would be on the system. I believe Guerrilla have stated before that they're looking into some form of co-op DLC though.
Some form of coop has to come out, seeing how 90% of the campaign has you fighting alongside an AI buddy. The enemy AI is pretty good, but friendly AI is dumb as shit; it's best to not revive them because they'll stand out in the open and be knocked out seconds later.

I am hoping for some more variety in the weapons. The Helghast SMG is my favourite so far, but I would really love to see a shotgun or something.
The shotgun is introduced in the 4th level, as is the flamethrower. The shotgun is by far my favorite weapon.

Holy shit at level 3. That last section was insane; I had to dodge the enemies fire while I made my way to my fallen soldiers and revive them. So far the campaign has been a blast.

When searching for lobbies to play online with, can you search for certain game types (Body Count, Search & Destroy, etc.) or is it just Warzone all the time?

Guess I'll post this here. Here are the six classes.
Tactician: Primary badge creates spawn points, secondary spawns a floating robot
Scout: Primary is cloak, if you move you expose yourself. Secondary marks any enemies in your field of view. The scout is the only class that carries the Sniper Rifle.
You unlock them in this order by ranking up. It's similar to unlocking perks in COD. You unlock the secondary badges by using the primary badges (IE use the medics revive gun a certain number of times to unlock the ability to throw down health packs)

So who's going to be the first to get to the Sergeant rank and start the EWB Killzone 2 clan?
Also what's going to be your preferred class? I'm a support guy so I'm probably going to stick with either the Engineer, Medic, or Tactician.
There are classes?
Yes, six of them. You have to unlock them as you play, just like unlocking perks in COD 4.
The other two classes are the Tactician and the Scout.

Lost & Damned reviews have started to crop up. Everyone is in agreement that this is the best DLC ever; most publishers would've packaged this as a full fledged game instead of DLC.
Some of the side missions include 25 gang wars to be won across Liberty City, a dozen new bike races, new bike theft missions, several odd jobs to tackle for various miscreants, 50 seagulls to find and kill, a new comedy show to enjoy, and some new mini-games. There's also a big shocker in one of the cut scenes.

London – February 9, 2009 - Capcom®, a leading worldwide developer and publisher of video games, today confirmed that Dead Rising 2 is in development for three different gaming platforms: the Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system from Microsoft and Sony Computer Entertainment's PLAYSTATION®3 (PS3) and the PC.
The sequel to the 1.5 million-plus selling Dead Rising, Dead Rising 2 will take the franchise to a new level of zombie-killing fun with tens of thousands of zombies, the all new gambling paradise of Fortune City to explore and conquer plus a host of new in-game objects that can all be used as deadly weapons to stave off the zombie assault.
Dead Rising 2 is set several years after the infamous zombie invasion of Willamette. Unfortunately, the zombie virus was not contained at the conclusion of Dead Rising, spreading unchecked throughout the United States and Dead Rising 2 depicts a country where zombie outbreaks continue to strike.
Dead Rising 2 is being developed in partnership with up and coming Canadian developer Blue Castle Games. A number of members from the original Dead Rising team will be working alongside Blue Castle Games throughout the development process, including Capcom's global head of research and development, Keiji Inafune, who as the game's Producer will play an active role in the project.
Released in 2006, Dead Rising won praise across the globe for its mix of intense zombie action and dark humour, garnering numerous awards including IGN's "Most Innovative Design for Xbox 360", Gamespot's "Best Action-Adventure Game" for 2006 and "Action Game of the Year" at the 2006 Spike TV Video Game Awards.

Anyone bothered with the Halo Wars demo?
I've played it a lot and I love it. Like what Dragsy said, it retains the feel, look, and sound of Halo, this ain't an average RTS with a Halo skin slapped over it. It's simplistic in design, yet there's still a lot of room for strategy.

DICE and EA have announced Battlefield 1943. It will be an XBLA game featuring 3 of the best maps from 1942 (Wake Island, Guadalcanal and Iwo Jima) remade with the Frostbite engine. It comes out this summer.
Here's a trailer:

They clearly show Peter loosing Mohinder's strength after touching and absorbing Tracey's ice powers. Some people have speculated that the power suites that everyone is wearing is restricting his powers, so it may not be permanent.
-
Peter can only absorb one power at a time now. When he touched Tracey, he lost his super strength.
Where's your source on that? Not saying you're wrong, just interested.
He was tossing the guards around like rag dolls before touching Tracey, then after he touched her his punch to the guard was weak. Peter hesitated briefly due to it having little to no effect, giving the guard time to knock him down.

The Alan Wake footage was actually footage from an axed PS3 game.

The bolt gun kicks ass. Too bad you only use it in that stage.
