  1. And fuck Moriarti. I was an idiot and fucked myself over by trying to coerce him, then I fucked myself over with getting the information from Gob, too. Now I need to pay 300 caps if I wanna find out where my dad went, and considering the size of the Wasteland I'd probably get lost just trying to randomly wander. I looked it up online and it said he's 'to the East of Megaton', but that's pretty fucking vague. Plus, I kinda don't want to spoil it and use a guide anyway.

You're lucky. I blew up Megaton before I got the info on my dads whereabouts and had to go wandering around until I received a clue from a radio station. I still had no clue as how to get there though, so I had to look it up online.
  2. Last night's GTTV revealed two new features for Call Of Duty WAW. The first was the Death Cards, which are the same as Halo's skulls. The second feature is a Zombie mode you unlock once you beat the campaign. It's you and three other players vs. an endless wave of Zombies. You're held up in a building and you can barricade windows with wood and buy furniture to barricade doors. In between waves you can buy any weapon and any upgrade found in the multiplayer.

  3. I've been sacrificing people at the Temple of Shadows for over an hour. Anyone who bugged me, refused to sleep with me, or refused my shitty proposal ring has been sacrificed. I even sacrificed my wife after she began nagging over how I've been ignoring her.

  4. Once I bought a house and got her pregnant, she doesn't bug me. Now I have to provide for her and a daughter. Thankfully I own the Pup and another store, so I'm getting over $800 every five minutes.

  5. And yea it's definitely a plus you don't have to use a certain weapon. Although, some of those fuckers have bodyguards. I did one yesterday where I had to kill the guy who hangs at the tattoo shop, and he had a bodyguard, as well as a doppelganger with his on bodyguard...I guess it was a glitch or something, but I had to kill both of them before the Hitman registered. Unless that was just supposed to be a decoy or something.

That could have been a decoy. They send out decoys randomly.

If you didn't know already, there are 5 Hitman activities. 2 of them don't become available until you earn a certain amount of respect. I just have one more kill left until I'm done with all five lists.

  6. It looks like it's going to be a one week delay for North America.

Oh fucking blow me. I doubt Muslims who actually may play the game are the fanatical kind who will take offense to it.

They're taking the song out not just because it could offend Muslims, but also because they're not suitable for an E rated game. When translated, they mean "Every soul shall have the taste of death" and "All that is on earth will perish". This is LBP Hot Coffee.

  7. Yes. Download the update off of the website, put it on your flashdrive under PS3 -> UPDATE, then plug it in at the front of the PS3, go to Systems Update and you then copy the file and install. It's a hell of a lot quicker doing this then updating through your PS3.

It looks like we won't be playing LBP next week.

SCEE has just confirmed that LittleBigPlanet has slipped because “the game contains two expressions that can be found in the Qur’an” in one of the licensed background tracks, but has not supplied a new release date.

The game was previously scheduled for an October 24 release.

VG247 has learned that the game is already at retail in both the UK and other European countries.

Heavy speculation has surrounded a slip this afternoon.

Sony just issued a statement on the matter:

During the review process prior to the release of LittleBigPlanet, it has been brought to our attention that one of the background music tracks licensed from a record label for use in the game contains two expressions that can be found in the Qur’an. We have taken immediate action to rectify this and we sincerely apologise for any offence that this may have caused.

We’ll confirm the new launch date shortly.

It’s unclear at the moment if this means the game is to be completely recalled.

SCEE has just confirmed to VG247 that shipped LittleBigPlanet units are to be recalled on a global level thanks to a licensed track in the game containing two “expressions” from the Qur’an.

It was thought this afternoon that shipped units of the game were to be pulled back in Europe, but the move will be made “worldwide,” Sony’s just told us.

When asked how many units are to be recalled, a SCEE rep said, “We haven’t been given any figures.”

SCEE has made a just made a statement on the issue, saying the game will be delayed as a result of the issue, but hasn’t confirmed a new release date as yet.

  8. If it's taking you over an hour to 4 hours to download the update from your PS3, then why don't you download the update from the PS3 website and upload onto your PS3 with a thumbdrive? Normally it'd take about an hour if I use my PS3, but it only takes 12 minutes when I download off of their website.

  9. Here's how the magic system works; there are 8 spells, each can be leveled up 5 times. So if you have a level 2 Inferno, you can place it in the first and/or second spell caster slot. The spell caster slots still work the same as I stated above. There are 2 types of magic, tap/hold B for an Area of Effect attack or tap/hold B and point to an enemy with the left thumbstick to attack them directly.

  10. IGN just posted their review. The basic gist of it is that the technical flaws and glitches that plagued the first game are still present, but the overall gameplay is just too much fun to let that hamper their review. It got an 8.2 and they're highly recommending that everyone should buy it.
