Final Fantasy spoof comic

Just thought I would see what my fellow EWBers think of this quick comic strip I made yesterday. I think it's poor personally, but I'm very criticising of my own work. 'Twas all magically done in Paint, apart from the sprites.

That's pretty much a carbon copy of an FF 4 flash on Newgrounds.com, so, you know, it's lacking in the originality department.

Plus, Sword Chucks, yo. I don't think 8-Bit Theater is worse than that. :-p

Well personally, the only thing I watch on Newgrounds is The Decline Of Video Gaming flashes by Dim,Dan & JT. So, I haven't seen that FF4 flash.

I'm not saying it's not funny. Of course it is, that's a BRILLIANT spoof.

But I'm just saying that the third and fourth strips are almost word for word from the flash, and basically the rest is almost the same.

I'll get you guys a link when I can find it.

Erm, anyways here is the 2nd one. Nowhere near as good but I wanna build up some kinda story as well, and the main character will need friends, I really screwed up on Dancer too, I'll get that sorted.

Only other thing apart from what Benji mentioned was the colour of the box in the fifth panel, but thats hardly anything important.

Oh, after naming the main guy Bill I can now rip off a certain film. So...

Meanwhile, in a town not too far away from Dancertowntonville...
