Yeah, there were.

Lucas said he wasn't going to do them, then he said he was, then he said he wasn't, yada-yada.

According to my brother, he said that the Thrawn Trilogy was 7,8,9 (Which is BS....generally which my brother is is full of).

I say just keep it at 1,2 and 3. Sure, I'd love to see anotther trilogy done, but It's just a bad idea, because if you do anything after 6, then the SW fans will revolt due to the books being disrupted and what-not.
