NCAA Tourney Pick'em

I have very few upsets in my bracket right now. I mean, there HAS to be a few upsets, but it's difficult to predict the games that will deliver those upsets. I picked Niagara over OU and UW-M over Alabama. Those are my only real big upsets. I was tempted by the idea of picking Old Dominion over MSU, like Assassin did, decided against it. LA Lafayette is a favorite amongst some people to upset Louisville, but I dunno, I have a good feeling about Louisville. I think it's best I focus more on a few tough 8 vs. 9 and 7 vs. 10 games than the potential HUGE upsets.

I've got Arizona, Wake Forest, Syracuse and North Carolina as my Final Four with Wake over UNC in the finals.

Being from ACC Country, I realize they got some good teams...but I'd say its pretty risky putting two ACC teams in the finals just because of the odds. That being said, I have Duke and UNC in the Final Four just because for how huge a game that would be and considering how huge their rivalry is...with them having never met in the NCAA Tournament...it has to happen someday. I hope its this year.

I haven't completely analyzed brackets yet, but I've got one prediction and that is Georgia Tech will come out of the Albuquerque Regional. That team is playing some fierce ball, and almost won the ACC Tournament. Plus I don't think Washington is a Legitimate 1 seed anyway, which is probably who they'll meet in the Sweet 16.

Damn Alabama I had them winning there first two. The game that I am seeing an upset in is the Villnova NM game I just got a feeling that NM is going to win.

8 out of 8 through the early games for me. I was sweating during the end of the Utah/UTEP game as I have them going to the Elite 8, but they pulled it out like hopefully they do against Oklahoma.

Damn.... I just HAD to change my pick to Alabama at the last minute. Oh well, I also switched to Pacific over Pitt. 5 for 8 so far. Not bad, but I'm majorly pissed I picked Alabama at literally the last goddamn second. F'n Crimson Tide. I mean, everbody was picking UW-M as the upset win of the first round, so I thought I'd pick Alabama for God knows what reason.

I did a massive renovation of my picks. I mean MASSIVE! Gone are Gonzaga, Uconn, and Duke from my final four, and now Syracuse (my team dedication overcame me), UNC, and Wake Forest join OSU. I blame reading the analysis reports, those fucking things make you second guess yourself until you yank the hair out of your scalp! Every year I fall victim to the insight of the "experts".

Luckly none of the the teams that have lost thus far were in any long terms plan in my bracket. Except for Niagara. I had them as this year's Cinderella story. Damnit!

At least I didn't have 'Bama or UTEP going past the second round.

As for Pacific, they can go to hell. Although in my cash pool, I only had Pitts going two, in this damn bracket I had them going to the elite 8

UTEP was my cinderella pick on here, and they failed me. In real life, I have Iowa St.. Heh.. Not really a Cinderella.

Well with the score the way it is UAB is going to beat LSU, and my day one will probably cap off with a 15-1 record. Much like EBG's UW-Milwaukee prediction getting change. I changed my original prediction of UAB over LSU.

The first day did not fair well for me...but luckily no one major from my bracket has been taken out yet...of the teams that lost that I had winning, only Alabama I believe did I have going further than the second round, and I think I had them losing in the third anyway. So while I didn't have the best of first days, there's still hope.

Some games had me worried...Wake Forest and Illinois both had barely a lead at halftime..things could have been much worse for me than they were. Go Duke tomorrow!

Pitt. hurt the most since I had them winning their second round game. The other two I had them losing in the second round so not a big loss.

Two of my Sweet 16 picks are out, Niagara (take a chance, pay the price) and LSU. Those two losses hurt me big time. All the other eliminated picks I had I didn't have making it past the second round.

I'm 16 and 8 so far overall. Not bad, but nothing to brag about.

So far I'm 5 and 1 in Albuquerque, in Chicago I'm 5 and 3, in Austin I'm 2 and 2, and in Syracuse I'm 4 and 2.

I have the better seed in every game for the rest of the night. I feel pretty confident about tonight's games as the only upset that I could see happening is Old Dominion over MSU. But who knows?
