Sylvester Stallone's new magazine had the first few pages of Rocky VI's script. You can find them here. Sounds interesting, to say the least. Gotta warn you guys though, there is a swerve right on the first page.

I was hopeing the swerve was that all the characters died in a fiery plane crash and the movie ended immediately.

As a Rocky fan (even of Rocky V) I spit in Bluesman's generally direction.

I already have a good idea of the plot, but I wasn't really expecting that initial swerve, especially right off the bat. Sounds interesting never the less and I am looking forward to it.

ivan drago pulverized him like the whole fight and I'm sitting there like "WTF m8" when Rocky all of a sudden comes back to win like that. That was terrible.

Rocky 4 ruled, if only for the over the top patriotism that it was trying to show.

I mean, you had the big cheating, steroid abusing Russian, versus the virtuous apple-pie eating American...who then beats the Russian on his own soil on Christmas Day (wasn't it...?)

It is funny that this is popping up because I've watched a different Rocky movie everynight this week (AMC has Rocky week this week) and I had JUST read this script last night.

I think the first two were classic. The third was a little far off. The fourth was ok. The fith was atrocious. But reading this... I think it could be an interesting take on the already iconic character.

Rocky V tried too hard to be like Rocky I, no world champion boxer would lose all of his money and have to go back to the ghetto and wear the same clothes he wore when he was there 10 years earlier.

I love the Rocky movies, but Rocky V sucks hard ass, his son ages by about 6 years over the christmas period, its bullshit, I don't want Rocky 6, but I'll read the script now.

Reading it, it sounds pretty good. Im a fan of all the Rockies but Rocky V was the most disappointing, Mr. T and Ivan Drago (III & VI) were the best, i could watch them every day
