Common's "Be"

Most certainly deserving of a thread.

Has anyone else picked up Common's new album? It's fucking awesome. So far my favorite joints are "They Say" ft. Kanye & John Legend, "It's Your World Pts. 1 & 2", "The Corners" and "Go!"

The whole album is just awesome. Very deserving of the XXL rating it got in XXL magazine.

Thoughts?

I picked it up after it's A review in Entertainment Weekly.

My favorite track on the album is "Testify". I just like the storytelling-rap style.

I see nothing but great things coming out of Kanye's new GOOD Music label.

Haven't picked it up yet, but I've heard a couple tracks and it sounds pretty damn good. Has anyone listened to any of John Legend's solo stuff? I actually love it, nice and calming.

Bought the album the other day. So far it is the best album of year. My favorite track is real people.

I didn't like it.

That could just me and my changing styles, though. I've gotten into Afrika Bambaataa and Grandmaster Flash & The Furious Five lately.
