On Sunday June 5, WWE Chairman Vince McMahon made a monumental decision that will change the WWE forever. Vince McMahon, considering the amount of hoopla surrounding ECW One Night Stand, that he would postpone the WWE Draft Lottery.

On Sunday June 12, ECW One Night Stand sold approximately 850,000 buys. In the following weeks the replays sold an additional 150,000 buys from those who thought the WWE would taint the legacy of ECW after hearing about the content of the show.

On Sunday June 19, Vince McMahon was staring at a cold realization. The WWE product was getting bland, and just as when ECW first made an impact in the wrestling world, he needed something that rejuvenate the business. He needed the wrestling version of Nirvana.

On Sunday June 26, Vince McMahon announces at Vengeance that the WWE Draft Lottery will start on Monday, July 4 after a major announcement that will change the WWE forever.

Raw

July 4, 2005

Mellon Arena

Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

Attendance: 7,515

Rating: 5.62

~ Raw opens with the usual video package and then the fireworks heading for the stage entrance as the crowd goes crazy.

J.R.: Welcome ladies and gentlemen as we are coming to you live from the Mellon Arena in Pittsburgh. And King, here tonight is going to be the start of the draft lottery.

King: And Mr. McMahon is supposed to have a huge announcement regarding the future of the WWE. What do you think it could be?

J.R.: Well, I dunno, King!

~ Vince McMahon’s music starts and the WWE Chairman makes his way to the ring doing his over exaggerated strut. Vince climbs up in the ring and takes the microphone away from Lillian Garcia and begins to address the crowd.

McMahon: As I stated at Vengeance, right here in this very ring, tonight I will make an announcement that will shake the WWE down to its very foundation! But first I would like to bring out the Raw General Manager, Eric Bischoff.

~ Bischoff’s music starts up and out walks the Raw General Manager to a mixed reaction. As Bischoff reaches the ring (with his own mic) Vince continues on.

McMahon: And now I’d like to bring out the SmackDown! General Manager, Theodore Long.

~ Long’s music starts up and he comes down to the ring with his own mic and joins the other two in the ring.

Bischoff: What is this all about? What announcement could you possibly make that is worth delaying the start of MY SHOW?

McMahon: Technically both of the shows are mine and you guys are just renting them. But as I said this announcement will shake the company to its very foundation! As you both know tonight is the first night of the WWE Draft Lottery.....

Long: What are you getting at, playa?

McMahon: Don't interrupt me again. There is something that you two don't know. I, the ingenious businessman that I am, have made a monumental decision. Tonight right here in Pittsburgh (pop) the WWE announces the introduction of a third brand! (pop) To lead this new third brand and make it live up to its name, which is WWE Extreme, here is the new General Manager……Paul Heyman!

~ Huge pop as Heyman comes out from the back and gets in the ring with a baseball cap that reads "Extreme". Heyman climbs in the ring and shakes hands with Vince before giving Eric Bischoff the finger while Bischoff has a smartass look on his face.

Overall Rating: 91

~ After the crowd has calmed down Vince continues.

McMahon: Tonight the draft lottery begins. It will end on the premiere edition of Extreme TV on SpikeTV, Saturday at 10. Everyone on the WWE active roster is eligible, including those that made appearances at ECW One Night Stand. The only people that can not be drafted are the current champions of the three brands. Extreme will start with Rhino, Danny Doring and the Amish Roadkill as their champions. Raw picks first and the draft begins.....now!

WWE Smackdown!

July 7, 2005

Erie, Pennsylvania

The opening for Smackdown plays, followed by a camera shot of the jam packed arena here in Erie, Pennsylvania. Almost immediately the scrolling bar appears.

Pick #35. SD - Chris Masters

We then go to Michael Cole and Tazz sitting ringside.

Cole: Welcome to Smackdown everyone! As you can tell from the scrolling bar at the bottom of your screen, this is day two of the draft lottery set up by Mr. McMahon. So far Tazz, the boss’ promise of shaking up the WWE has become reality!

Tazz: No doubt Cole. Smackdown suffered some great losses last Monday, but at the same time, we gained some great talent!

You Think You Know Me… With that out comes one of Smackdown’s biggest grabs. Edge sprints down the ramp, then slides into the ring. As his music dies down, chants of “We Want Matt!” begin. A toothy grin appears on Edge’s face, as he begins.

Edge- I love you guys too.

Pick #36. Extreme – Masato Tanaka

Edge (looking at the scrolling bar) - As you can see the draft lottery is in full swing. That’s what brings me here tonight. I’m here tonight to cash in on my title shot! That’s right; I’m Mr. Money In The Bank. And tonight, John Cena finds out why! Over on Raw, they have the World Heavyweight Championship. But I find that the WWE Title is what I truly deserve. It’s by far the better title. If only it wasn’t for the champion, John Cena!

Just then we hear, AW AW AW SHAWNNNNN!!!! The Hearbreak Kid Shawn Michaels dances his way out in front of the crowd. He stops at the stage, and takes out a mic.

HBK: Edge, as you know by now, I was drafted by Smackdown last Monday night! This means I have to remain on the same show as you. And I just wanted to make sure I started it off right. I was so sick of hearing you moan and complain every week on Raw. That isn’t gonna happen this time around. I’ll make sure of it! So what do ya say? Right here tonight, Edge vs. Good Ol’ HBK?

Edge- You know what Shawn, you wasted up old bastard. You’re on!!

Billy Kidman & Carlito vs. Paul London & Psychosis

The Start

WWE fans get their first look at Psychosis in this opening match. He and Kidman kick off the match with a lock up. Kidman locks in a side headlock. This gets shrugged off, and he is sent to the ropes. He hits a shoulder tackle, Psychosis is down. But he nips up, hits Kidman with a quick armdrag, and there seems to be a stalemate. The fans clap in appreciation.

Mid-Match

As the match grows older, Kidman gains the advantage over Psychosis. He tags out to Carlito, to a huge ovation.

Pick #37. Raw – Jerry “The King” Lawler

Carlito takes Psychosis down, and then boots him in the head coolly. Caribbean Cool locks in a front facelock, and forces Psychosis to struggle his arm over to Paul London. He gets very close at one point, but London is taken off the apron by Carlito forcefully. As Carlito turns, he is caught with a standing dropkick. Both men are down, and London is beginning to collect himself over in the corner. As Psychosis inches closer to his corner, Kidman comes in to try and stop the tag from happening. But he can’t make it in time. In comes Paul London like a house of fire. He takes out the opponents by himself with backdrops, dropkicks, and suplexes.

Pick #38. SD - Billy Kidman

The Finish

During the closing moments of the match Kidman begins to show us why Teddy Long decided to take him 38th overall. Carlito tags him in, and from there he lays a beating down on the Cruiserweight Champion. He uses any means necessary in order to set him up for the Shooting Star Press. It all pays off as he hits his finisher. 1-2-kick out! Kidman freaks out at how London was able to kick out. He worries about the referee too much, and almost gets caught up by a Paul London roll up. He kicks out at two however, and proceeds to pound London with closed fists. He then attempts a second Shooting Star. This time however, his knee connects with London’s face. With the champ seemingly out cold, Kidman makes the pin, 1-2-3!!

Winners: Carlito & Kidman

Cole- It looks as though Kidman has resorted to old tricks to get a win here tonight! I can’t stand him Tazz!

Tazz- Take it easy Cole. I’m not a big fan of the way he won either. But obviously our General Manager sees something in him, because he’s staying right here on Thursday Nights!

Pick #39. Extreme – Spike Dudley

In the parking area we see Rene Dupree hanging around for some unexplained reason with Fefe in toe. He comes across a car he seems to recognize. So he decides to get a closer look.

Pick #40. Raw - Eugene

He looks at the license plate, and his eyes widen.

Dupree- Sylvain? Fefe, Sylvain is here. Isn’t that great!

Cole- Partner, did you hear that?

Tazz- Yeah, it seems Rene’s old running buddy might be here, but why?

OR: 73

~~

Pick #41. SD – Tajiri

As Smackdown returns, one of its newest draft picks, Chris Masters, is in the ring with a mic.

Masters- Just about an hour ago, I got a call on my cell phone. That call changed my life. That call, has brought me to Smackdown! So I hurried here for reason. To bring The Masterlock Challenge to Smackdown! I’m here tonight to put $12,000 on the line against any Smackdown superstar who thinks he can break my Masterlock!

Pick #42. Extreme - Charlie Haas

HOW DO YOU LIKE ME NOW!

Hardcore Holly comes out to answer the challenge. Masters sets up the steel chair in centre ring, and invites Holly to sit down. Slowly, and never taking his eyes off Masters, Holly takes a seat. Masters hands his mic over to the referee, and hooks in his Masterlock slowly. The contest begins, as Hardcore struggles to break free. The struggle continues for a long while, with Hardcore gaining little ground. Finally things begin to look up for Holly, but Masters kicks his feet out from him, forcing him to his knees. Once there, there is nothing Holly can do. The pain becomes too much, and Hardcore can not respond to the referee, so the challenge is stopped.

Winner: Chris Masters

As we return, we find the ring to be set up for an edition of Carlito’s Cabana. Carlito himself is in the ring with his stuttering buddy, Matt Morgan. Carlito tosses an apple a few times, and then speaks.

CCC: You know Carlito was going to come out here, and interview a new face here on Smackdown. Carlito thought Teddy Long would be smart enough to bring in some real talent. But no! Shawn Michaels, come on. He’s not cool!

Pick #44. SD – Johnny Swinger

The closest thing to cool Teddy has brought us is Edge. And you know what? He turned down The Cabana! So a replacement guest has been brought in. Introducing, Matt Morgan! Hahaha.

Morgan: Th-th-thanks for having me Carlito.

CCC: Yeah yeah, so tell me Matt, how cool is it that I let you hang out with me? Be honest.

Morgan: It’s great! You’ve taught me all kinds of new moves.

CCC- What? No, Carlito didn’t show you a thing. I don’t swing that way.

Morgan-Sure you did. Like the big bo-bo-boot. I use that one a lot.

CCC- Oh wrestling moves! Of course I did. Carlito is a great wrestler. He knows it all.

Morgan- You sure do.

Pick #45. Extreme - Nova

Morgan looks deep into Carlito’s eyes. This freaks Carlito out quite a bit.

CCC-You know what, this interview is over.

Carlito drops his mic, and is heard asking Morgan what’s wrong with him as they leave the ring.

Pick #46. Raw - Gene Snitsky

Following a commercial we see all three members of MNM standing in the ring. Melina has a mic.

Melina- Teddy Long said for us to be in the ring right now, because he has a special match set up for Nitro. So I wanna know, who is this match with?

Just then, the scrolling bar activates.

Pick #47. SD - Sylvain Grenier

When that appears the music of La Resistance comes on and out comes Grenier. The fans give him a mixed reaction, as he enters the ring.

Nitro w/ Melina vs. Sylvain Grenier

Mid-Match

Pick #48. Extreme – “Big Stevie Cool” Stevie Richards

Grenier continues an assault that has been going on from the beginning of the match. This fact alone means that the fans have gained some respect for him. Nitro stops the momentum however with a low blow, undetected by the referee, who was distracted by Melina. The tide of the match turns as Nitro takes over keeping Grenier grounded with bodyslams and suplexes.

The Finish

Nitro is in full control, and decides to put the match away. He goes up to the top, looking for his legdrop from the top. The move connects, and he goes for the pin. 1-2-kick out! Nitro can’t believe it, and Melina is now once again on the apron talking with the ref. This gives time for Mercury to run down to the ring. Nitro holds Sylvain in place for a title belt to the face. But Greiner moves and Nitro gets stunned by the belt. Mercury is knocked off the apron, as the referee turns to make the count, 1-2-3!

Winner: Sylvain Greiner

After the announcement is made, Mercury makes his way into the ring, and Grenier gets double teamed by MNM. Suddenly the La Resistance music plays again, this time for Rene Dupree. Rene comes running down to save his former tag team partner. MNM flees for safety, and the save is made! The fans show their appreciation by giving La Resistance a huge ovation.

Pick #49. Raw – Tazz

With that Michael Cole and Tazz both go silent. We then fade to a commercial.

~~

As Smackdown returns it seems Michael Cole has collected himself after finding out Tazz will be moving over to Raw.

Cole- Well Tazz I guess the show must go on. Standing by backstage is our own Chris Leary. He is with Booker T.

Pick #50. SD - Val Venis

Chris- Thanks Michael, Booker tonight you compete for the US Title against Orlando Jordan.

Book- That’s right sucka. Tonight Booker T becomes the star he once was. I will go down in history as the 5 Time WCW Champion! And tonight I go down in history once again as US Champion. Can you dig that?

Chris- Yeah I dig that. But let’s say you win here tonight. With the draft going on, you don’t know who could be coming after you.

Pick #51. Extreme - Dawn Marie

Book- Man I don’t care. Whoever wants some can come get some.

Suddenly Randy Orton interrupts the interview.

Orton- Booker, Booker, Booker…Seems like you’re all fired up. Well don’t get too excited, because I don’t even think you can win tonight. You’re too old. Past your prime. But I will say this. You were a legend in WCW. Be proud of that. But you’ve never been able to hack it here.

With that being said, Orton leaves the interview area with Booker T fuming.

OR: 90

Pick #52. Raw – Torrie Wilson

~~

Booker T vs. Orlando Jordan-US Title Match

Pick #53. SD – Joy Giovanni

The Start

We return to Smackdown with Orlando in the ring, and Booker just stepping through the ropes. The bell rings, and the match is on!

Mid-Match

Orlando reverses a whip into the ropes, and hits a back elbow. He then begins taking control of the match, after Booker dominated in the early going.

Pick #54. Extreme - Funaki

Jordan scoop slams Booker down to the mat after picking him up. Then he drops a leg. He only gets a two count out of it however. Jordan becomes frustrated after countless attempts at putting Booker away. He manages to keep his emotions in check, in order to keep Booker from mounting a comeback…

The Finish

With the referee down from the miscued superkick, there is nobody who can count the pinfall. This frustrates Orlando even more. So he resorts to a steel chair on the outside. He brings it in, and sizes Booker up. Booker turns, and is able to duck the shot just in the nick of time. He then hits a superkick of his own to the chair, which comes back hitting Jordan in the face. A dazed Jordan walks right into the Book End. The referee manages to make a slow count. 1-2-3!! New Champion!!

Winner: NEW US Champion, Booker T

Pick #55. Raw - Sabu

As Booker celebrates his win, Jordon rolls to the outside, disgusted in defeat. All of the sudden, Randy Orton appears, apparently coming from the crowd. He turns Book around, and nails the RKO. As the fans boo the Legend Killer heavily, Orton poses with the US Title.

Suddenly the music of JBL plays, and the man himself makes his way to the ring. Unlike other JBL entrances, this time there is no limo. Tonight JBL looks to be all business. He enters the ring, and grabs a mic.

JBL- Orlando, do you realize what you’ve done here tonight? You have succeeded in making me look like a complete idiot. I cannot have this happening. You know what, go backstage now. I can’t look at you right now.

Pick #56. SD - Mark Jindrak

The fans boo JBL’s display of how unprofessional he can be. Jordan receives a small pop as he makes his way backstage as he was instructed.

Pick #57. Extreme – Nunzio

JBL- Now that is out of the way, let me say some things about this draft lottery. It sucks! I mean giving those ECW losers their own brand, Extreme, is just now smart for business! What if I, god forbid, get stuck with somebody like Tommy Dreamer? Or…The… Blue Meanie (huge pop). Shut up! You’d like that wouldn’t you! Well I’m telling you right now Teddy Long, it better not happen!

Anyway, on to other more important things. The real reason I came out here is to say that I want one more shot at John Cena. I deserve it. I was the best damn WWE Champion of all time, and what Cena is doing with the legacy of the belt is disgraceful! So John, what do you say? Do you want one more go around with the Wrestling God?

Pick #58. Raw - Maven

After a short pause, Cena’s hit “My Time Is Now” hits. Out comes the WWE Champion to a huge ovation. He pulls out a mic, before entering the ring. As he climbs up the steps, he speaks to JBL.

Cena- You know what homie. I’m starting to think I’ve beat you enough times, I deserve a break from your lame ass! But on the other hand, every time we meet I have such a great time beating you to a bloody pulp.

JBL- Hey! You need to shut your mouth. Besides, you couldn’t do it again, and you know it!

Cena- Take it easy slim. I’ll tell you what. If you want one more match, let’s not wait. Let’s do it right here, RIGHT NOW!

With that Cena, who is now in the ring, drops the mic and tackles JBL. Soon the ring is filled with security personal trying their best to break up the brawl. They succeed in getting the two on their feet, and away from each other. Our attention is soon turned to the titan-tron as GM Long appears.

Pick #59. SD - Matt Morgan

OR: 76

Long- Hold on a second playas. I can’t have you two interrupting my show so you can settle old rivalries. Now I know you two have had some classic battles, and I know you guys want another crack at each other. Quite frankly, I wouldn’t mind making some money off another classic battle between you two

Pick #60. Extreme - Blue Meanie

Long- But in order…

JBL- Excuse me Teddy. I just have a quick announcement to make. The Blue Meanie will NOT be on Smackdown. Thank you very much.

Pick #61. Raw -Hardcore Holly

Long- Thanks for that JBL. As I was saying… In order for you two to wrestle again, I have no choice but to do it in front of a pay per view audience. So on July 31st at The Great American Bash, it will be John Cena defending his WWE Championship against JBL... In a Last Man Standing Match! Holla holla holla!!!

Pick #62. SD - Scotty 2 Hotty

With that announcement, Smackdown goes to commercial. The Main Event, is next!

OR: 73

~~

Shawn Michaels vs. Edge

The Start

As Smackdown returns, Edge’s music plays for the second time tonight. This time he is set for one on one action against Shawn Michaels. As these two will try and settle their score tonight. After a short pause, out comes HBK to a huge ovation. He gets down on his knees, and his pyro goes up behind him. Then he is ready for action. The bell sounds as they both stare each other down.

Pick #63. Extreme - Tommy Dreamer

Mid-Match

In the early stages of the match Shawn Michaels looks to be in great shape physically, as well as match wise. He takes Edge down with armdrags, and headlock takedowns. While on the mat, Edge pulls at HBK’s hair in order to get his shoulders on the mat. Only for a two count however. Shawn continues with the headlock. Until Edge is able to make it to a vertical base, where he hits a side suplex, ala old school Shawn Michaels himself. The referee begins his mandatory ten count.

Pick #64. Raw - Kenzo Suzuki

Early in the count, Edge is on his feet. He waits in the corner, sizing HBK up for a spear. Shawn gets to his feet, and turns towards Edge, just in time to see the spear coming. He side steps the move, sending Edge shoulder first into the steel post. His own momentum sends Edge to the arena floor on the outside. This is when Shawn decides to launch himself through the ropes, on to Edge on the outside. As he does this both men hit their heads on the barrier, and look to be out of it. With this, Smackdown takes its final commercial break.

Pick #65. SD - Tyson Tomko

As Smackdown returns, both men are in the ring. However it seems the tide has turned to Edge’s favor. The high risk nature of HBK bit him in the ass with the suicide dive, and now Edge planned on taking full advantage.

Pick #66. Extreme - Axl Rotten

Pick #67. Raw - Danny Basham

Despite the fact that Shawn had been wounded for much of the match, Edge still found it very difficult to put him away. A dropkick from the top couldn't get the job done, so Edge set up for a spear. He nails it, and goes for the pin. 1-2-kick out! Edge decides that one more spear is in order. As he runs towards Michaels, he gets nailed by a superkick that came totally out of nowhere! With the little energy left in HBK's body, he covers Edge. 1-2-KICK OUT!

Pick #68. SD - Shannon Moore

Now it is Shawn who is in total disbelieve. Shawn gets to his feet with the crowd fully behind him. He begins stomping his foot, or "tuning up the band". The fans can feel something big is about to happen. And it does, Edge ducks the Sweet Chin Music attempt, and hits an Edgicution DDT out of nowhere! The air goes out of each fan in the building as Edge makes the pin, 1-2-3!

Winner: Edge

After the match Edge gets down on the mat, screaming at Shawn about it being his time. Edge continues with his taunts as Smackdown goes off the air.

Extreme TV

July 8, 2005

The Wachovia Spectrum

Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Attendance: 8,037

Rating: 4.36

~ The show starts with the ECW logo being blown away by the new WWE Extreme logo. Then the music starts up with the voiceover saying “It’s Extreme!” Then some footage from ECW: One Night Stand is shown. Lance Storm’s leap to the top rope, Super Crazy’s balcony moonsault, Rob Van Dam dropkicking the chair into Rhyno’s face, Mike Awesome almost dropping Masato Tanaka on his head, and to end the opening video we see the bloody Tommy Dreamer being powerbombed through the flaming table by the Dudley Boyz. As the video ends we see Rob Van Dam standing in front of a banner with the WWE Extreme logo on it.

RVD: ECW has finally gotten the respect it deserves from Vince McMahon. When I came to Vince with the idea of doing an ECW pay-per-view I never knew that this would come from it. But, what set ECW apart from other companies was their willingness to go beyond the perimeters of abnormality. ECW changed the business once and we are here to do it again. R-V-D 4:20….I’m about to smoke someone’s ass again!

Overall Rating: 82

~ Now we go to ringside where we see the entrance of the Dudley Boyz and Joey Styles finally has a chance to welcome us to the debut episode of Extreme TV.

Styles: Welcome to Extreme TV, I am Joey Styles live in Philadelphia. This is the return of extreme wrestling and we start the show with The Dudley Boyz making their first television appearance since separating the shoulder of Tommy Dreamer at ECW One Night Stand.

~ Bubba Ray has a microphone in his hand as the fans chant “E-C-Dub, E-C-Dub!”

Bubba Ray: That’s nice and all to get that response, but me and D-Von are out here for one reason and one reason only. We want a fight. We’ve seen the people that Paul E. has been drafting and we don’t think that there is anybody in the back that has big enough balls to face us right now, right here!

~ From the back comes the next Extreme draft pick, Balls Mahoney and his tag team partner Axl Rotten. They have steel chairs in hands as they dive in the ring followed by Jim Mollineux.

Chair Swinging Freaks vs. The Dudley Boyz

~ Axl goes after D-Von with the chair and hits him in the head with it. Balls swings at Bubba Ray but he ducks it and kicks Balls in the stomach to make him drop the chair. 70 - RAW - DOUG BASHAM! Bubba Ray DDTs Balls onto the chair. Axl hits D-Von in the head again knocking D-Von outside the ring. Axl turns around and Bubba Ray clotheslines him down. 71 – SMACKDOWN! – KHOSROW DAIVARI! D-Von looks under the ring and slides a table into the ring. Bubba Ray sets up the table as D-Von climbs back in the ring. Bubba Ray kicks Axl until he rolls out of the ring to the floor. 72 - EXTREME – BILL ALFONSO! D-Von whips Balls into the ropes and when he comes back Bubba Ray and D-Von hit the Dudley Death Drop through the table! Bubba ray goes for the pin. 1……….2……….3!

COMMERCIAL BREAK

~ We come back to see Tommy Dreamer standing in front of the Extreme banner.

73 – RAW – JIM CORNETTE!

Dreamer: ECW changed the business in almost every aspect. We catered to that 18 to 34 male demographic, not to children. 74 – SMACKDOWN! – VICTORIA! We were always honest with our fans, and I think that nowadays, with the internet, companies have to be more honest with their fans, because the fans find out anyway. 75 - EXTREME – CW ANDERSON! ECW was made up of a bunch of guys who went out there and worked their asses off night after night……put their bodies on the line…..for the enjoyment of the fans. 76 - RAW – MARK HENRY! Professional wrestling needs more of that and the Extreme brand is going to bring back to the way wrestling should be. That ass kicking way of thinking. E-C-Dub! E-C-Dub!

Overall Rating: 57

~ We fade back to the ring and see Kid Kash already in the ring as “Lionheart” Chris Jericho makes his entrance.

77 – SMACKDOWN! – JONATHAN COACHMAN!

Chris Jericho vs. Kid Kash

~ The two men lock up in the middle of the ring. Kash goes behind, Jericho goes behind. Jericho tries a German suplex, but Kid Kash flips out of it and lands on his feet. 78 - EXTREME – JOHN HEIDENREICH! Kash runs towards Jericho and Jericho grabs him by the hair and throws him over the top rope. Kash holds on to the top rope and pulls himself back in. Jericho runs in for a clothesline but Kash ducks and back body drops Jericho over the top rope. Jericho lands on the apron and Kash turns back towards him. Jericho tries to punch him but Kash blocks it and then sunset flips over the top of Jericho and powerbombs him on the floor. “Holy shit! Holy shit!” 79 - RAW – IVORY! Jericho wobbles back up to hiss feet and staggers back after another chairshot. Jericho backs up to the railing and Kash charges at him and dropkicks the chair into Jericho’s face. 80 – SMACKDOWN! – CHRISTY HEMME! Kash then throws Jericho over the railing and into the audience. Kash jumps to the top of the railing and jumps on Jericho hitting a rana. “E-C-Dub! E-C-Dub!” Kash picks up a chair and swings it at Jericho, but Jericho blocks it and kicks Kash in the gut and steals the chair from him. Jericho hits Kash in the back with the chair. Kash falls to his knees and Jericho throws the chair and it hits Kash in the face. 81 – EXTREME - AL SNOW! A fan hands Jericho a cookie sheet. Jericho smacks Kash in the face with it and then throws it on the ground. Jericho picks Kash back up to his feet and throws him back over the railing and towards the ring. Jericho climbs on top of the guardrail and Kash gets back to his feet quickly and kicks the guardrail causing Jericho to fall crotch first on the guardrail. 82 - RAW - MARTY JANNETTY! Kash then picks up a chair from ringside a slams it into the head of Jericho causing him to fall over the guardrail on the side of the audience. Kash slides back into the ring with the chair. He sits the chair near the ropes and runs to the opposite side. Jericho is back to his feet now and Kash jumps on the chair to the top rope and somersaults over the guardrail on top of Chris Jericho! “Holy shit! Holy shit!” 83 – SMACKDOWN! – MIKEY WHIPWRECK! Both men slowly work their way back up to their feet. Jericho punches Kash who falls back down to the concrete. Jericho climbs over the railing back towards the ring. Kash gets back to his feet and climbs over the guardrail. Jericho grabs him by the hair and rolls him back into the ring. 84 - EXTREME – CHRIS CHETTI! Jericho climbs to the top rope but as he reaches it Kash is back to his feet and climbs to the top rope with him. Kash tries a superplex but Jericho blocks it and drops Kash on his face. Kash hits the mat and flips over onto his back. Jericho jumps off the top rope with a flying elbow drop! Jericho goes for the pin. 1……….2…….kick out! 85 - RAW – SUPER CRAZY! Jericho tries the lionsault, but Kash gets his knees up. Jericho rolls around on the mat holding his stomach as Kid Kash climbs to the top rope. Kash comes off with a leg drop but Jericho rolls out of the way. 86 – SMACKDOWN! – CHRISTOPHER NOWINSKI! Jericho grabs Kash’s legs and applies the Lion Tamer! Kash taps out quickly.

WINNER: Chris Jericho

COMMERCIAL BREAK

~ We come back to see the mad scientist himself, Paul Heyman standing in front of the Extreme banner with his Extreme baseball cap on over top of his production headset.

Heyman: As the numbers continue to grow for the smash-hit DVD “The Rise and Fall of ECW,” pride swells in the hearts of all ECW alumni. It’s hard to convey the passion of those who made it all happen. We took a once-in-a-while promotion in a bingo hall literally on the wrong side of the tracks in South Philadelphia, and exploded it into a worldwide phenomenon. 87 - EXTREME - JT SMITH! When the TV stations wouldn’t air us because we were too counterculture, the ECW audience rose up like an army and faxes, e-mailed, even picketed the stations to get us on the air. 88 - RAW – VISCERA! When the pay-per-view carriers wouldn’t carry us because of political pressure, the ECW faithful waged war, bombarding the PPV companies until there was no choice but to give us our chance. 89 – SMACKDOWN! - SINISTER MINISTER! When the cable networks refused to have meetings with us, the hardcore members of ECW’s fan base threatened boycotts, organized petitions, and chanted “ECW” in front of network executives’ offices and homes until we ended up on national TV. 90 - EXTREME - MIKE AWESOME! It wasn’t a cult. ECW was a lifestyle. From the awe-inspiring moves innovated by Sabu, to the spirited catfights between Beulah McGillicutty and Francine. From the shriek of “Oh my God!” by Joey Styles, to the vile, vulgar tirades of The Dudley Boyz. From the clumsiness of JT Smith, to the grace of the Three-Way Dances with Tajiri, Super Crazy and Little Guido. From the excitement we felt when Mikey Whipwreck would steal the show, to the chest-thumping war mentality we adopted when Steve Austin broke out of his shell. From the tear-jerking moments we shared with Terry Funk, to the exhilaration that came over us when Rey Mysterio, Chris Benoit, Eddie Guerrero, Chris Jericho, Psicosis, and Juventud Guerrera proved that the ECW audience recognized great talent. From the great love we felt for each other, to our passionate hatred for everything corporate. 91 - RAW –BEULAH MCGUILLICUTTY! The ECW experience was one shared amongst the audience who cheered us on, the performers who made it happen, and the promotion honored enough to offer a product that, to this day, is being emulated the world over. 92 – SMACKDOWN! – FRANCINE! To the performers who made the vision come true, and to the audience whose passion made ECW a worldwide brand, I only wish I could find the way to convey the depth of my appreciation. It genuinely was something special. And we shared it. Together. 93 - EXTREME – ELEKTRA! For that I am eternally grateful. Thank you so much for allowing me to live out the dream called ECW.

Overall Rating: 93

~ Now we go back to the ring where Rhyno is standing with the ECW World and ECW Television titles over his shoulders. He has a microphone in his hand.

Rhyno: ECW was my f(bleep)ing home for two years! I have had these belts since Guilty As f(bleep)ing Charged in 2001! These f(bleep)ing things are mine! If there is anybody who thinks they are man enough to take these f(bleep)ers away from me, let ‘em try it!

~ “Enter Sandman” starts up and here comes The Sandman with his Singapore Cane in one hand a beer can in the other and a cigarette in his mouth. The Sandman flicks his cigarette onto the ground and opens his can of beer pouring it into his mouth and then bashing the can into his forehead before spitting the beer into the audience. Rhyno has dropped his titles in the corner as John Finnegan climbs in the ring the same time as Sandman gets their.

Extreme World Title Match

The Sandman vs. Rhyno

~ Sandman climbs in the ring and Rhyno tries to gore him but Sandman hits him in the head with the cane and Rhyno falls to the mat on his face. 94 - RAW – ANTONIO! Sandman continues to cane the crap out of Rhyno while he is lying on the mat. Sandman drops the cane and rolls out of the ring and looks under it and pulls out a ladder and a table and slides them both into the ring. 95 – SMACKDOWN! – JASON KNIGHT! Sandman slides back in the ring as Rhyno is getting back up to his feet. Rhyno hits Sandman with a double axe handle to the back of the head knocking Sandman down to one knee. 96 - EXTREME – CANDICE MICHELLE! Rhyno picks up the ladder and drops it over the back of The Sandman. Sandman falls to the mat on his back and Rhyno sets the ladder in one corner and the sets the table up in another corner, with the table leaning against the turnbuckles. 97 - RAW – ROMEO! Rhyno waits in the corner opposite the ladder as The Sandman staggers over in front of the ladder. Rhyno tries the gore but The Sandman moves out of the way and Rhyno slammed his shoulder into the ladder in the corner! Sandman rolls out of the ring and sets another table up outside the ring. Sandman rolls back in and picks up his cane as Rhyno gets back to his feet. Sandman tries to hit the White Russian Legsweep, but Rhyno blocks it and hits Sandman in the stomach repeatedly. 98 – SMACKDOWN! – MARIA KANELLIS! Rhyno hits a short-arm clothesline on Sandman knocking him to the mat and causing him to drop the Singapore Cane. Rhyno picks The Sandman up and throws him out to the apron near where the table is sitting up on the floor. 99 - EXTREME - TRACY SMOTHERS! Rhyno picks The Sandman back up and puts The Sandman’s head between his legs and hoists him up. Rhyno jumps off the apron and piledrives The Sandman through the table. “E-C-Dub! E-C-Dub!” Rhyno rolls out of the debris and pulls The Sandman back to his feet. 100 - RAW - GARY WOLFE! Rhyno whips him into the security railing and then charges after him and gores him into the railing. Sandman falls to the floor holding his back as Rhyno bangs his fists on his chest and then raises them above his head. Rhyno picks The Sandman back up, but The Sandman hits a low blow and Rhyno falls to his knees. 101 – SMACKDOWN! – MICHELLE MCCOOL! Sandman slowly gets back to his feet and then grabs Rhyno by the har and rolls him back in the ring. Sandman rolls in after him. Sandman picks up his Singapore cane and waits as Rhyno gets back to his feet. Rhyno turns towards The Sandman and he swings the cane, but Rhyno ducks under it. Rhyno turns around again and this time The Sandman nails him with the cane and then sets him up for the White Russian Legsweep. Sandman hits it through the table in the corner. The Sandman goes for the pin. 1……….2……….3! 102 - EXTREME – ROCHELLE LOEWEN!

Raw

July 11, 2005

Gund Arena

Cleveland, Ohio

Attendance: 8,042

Rating: 5.98

~ The show opens with a new opening video reflecting the new draft picks. Images of Triple H, Batista, Kurt Angle, Shelton Benjamin, Trish, Eddie Guerrero, Eugene, Gene Snitsky, Maven, Shelton Benjamin, and Miss Jackie flash across the screen before a slow shot of Raw General Manager Eric Bischoff is shown. Following that the opening pyro screams towards the stage and the crowd in Cleveland erupts for the start of Raw!

J.R.: Welcome everybody, we are live from the Gund Arena in Cleveland! And King, tonight is the first night of Raw with our brand new roster. What do you think?

King: Well first off, I’m glad I was chosen to stay here on Raw and that I didn’t get picked by those Raw rejects over at Extreme!

~ “It’s time to play the game,” starts up and out comes Triple H and Ric Flair to a chorus of boos. Both men have suits and ties on as they walk down to the ring and climb in. Triple H is handed a microphone from ringside announcer Lilian Garcia as he waits for the audience to calm down. An “asshole” chant starts as Triple H begins to speak.

Triple H: First off I’d like to say that this show would suck without me and every damn one of you knows it! (boo) Now it’s time to get down to business. Batista (pop) you have something I want. You have the World Heavyweight Title, and that belt belongs to me! (boo) You may have beaten me at Vengeance, you were the first person to beat me in the hell in a cell match and for that you deserve all the credit in the world. However, Dave, I am the game. And the game gets to make all the rules. I am the one and only true Raw superstar. I am the ten time Heavyweight Champion of the World! You are nothing but a bush-leaguer who just happened to get lucky once or twice. (boo) I have a little proposition for you Batista. I know that tonight you are facing Eddie Guerrero right here tonight on Raw. After that match, I want a decision. Give me a rematch. If you don't you will regret that decision for the rest of you life. You see, Batista, I have a lot of friends in high places…..and most of these friends owe me a few favors and it'd be easier than Lita to get you blackballed from the entire industry. Not only that, but my best friend in the whole world, The Nature Boy (pop) has a lot of favors owed to him by the many people he knows in positions of power. One more time, Batista, that is all I am asking. One more match with you for the World Heavyweight Title!

Overall Rating: 93

~ As Triple H’s music starts up again and he leaves the ring we see Eric Bischoff standing in his office in the back when Joel Gertner comes in to a pop from the audience. Gertner has on similar attire to what he had at One Night Stand, and he has a Styrofoam cup in his hand.

Gertner: Here is your coffee, Mr. Bischoff.

Bischoff: (Taking the cup from him) Ahhhh, Joel. A man who just last month was begging me for a job and now, here you are serving me coffee. Does life get any better than this?

Gertner: I guess not, Mr. Bischoff.

~ Bischoff takes a sip from the cup and spits it out all over Joel Gertner’s face.

Bischoff: Ahh geez, I told you two sugars and one cream, you stupid idiot!

~ Bischoff throws the rest of the coffee on Gertner before throwing him out of the office.

Bischoff: (Looking into the camera) Now, I want to make an announcement to Theodore Long and Paul Heyman! (pop) I know that I have something both of you would be interested in. For instance, Theodore, I have Tazz your color commentator. What would you be willing to give to me in order for me to give him back to you? And Mr. Heyman, I have Mick Foley and Sabu. You have some big name talent that would look a lot better on Raw than on your God forsaken, piece of garbage show. Let me know when you are ready to deal. Oh and by the way, Sabu will never have a match on Raw! (boo) That disgusting freak was only drafted as trade bait! He doesn’t belong with the high caliber athletes that are here on Raw.

Overall Rating: 70

~ We fade to commercial.

~ We come back and we see J.R. and The King.

J.R.: Well big news we just heard, King, Sabu has only been drafted as trade bait. He will never even make an appearance on Raw.

King: Well good riddance to him. Maybe we can get someone from the Extreme brand that actually has talent.

~ A pounding drum is heard and out come the Heart-Throbs, Antonio and Romeo. They dance down the ramp with their feather boas flying around their necks. They climb in the ring and gyrate towards each other with big smiles on their faces. “Stand back! There’s a hurricane coming through!” Out come the World Tag Team Champions, the Justice League, The Hurricane and Rosey being led to the ring by their masked manager, Super Stacy. The caped crusaders climb on the apron and watch as Super Stacy enters the ring. Finally the dynamic duo climb into the ring and do a superhero pose down before the match begins.

World Tag Team Titles Match

Justice League w/Super Stacy © vs. Heart-Throbs

~ Rosey starts the match off against Romeo. Rosey tries a collar and elbow but Romeo ducks and goes behind him and hits a quick dropkick. Rosey turns around un-phased by the dropkick. Romeo bounces off the ropes and dropkicks Rosey in the knee. This time Rosey falls to the canvas face first and Romeo bounces off the ropes and hits a quick leg drop on the back of Rosey’s head. Rosey rolls out of the ring to try to regroup still holding the back of his head. As he turns back towards the ring Romeo dives over the top rope with a plancha, but Rosey catches him and drops him chest first on the security barrier. Romeo bounces back and lands on his back on the floor as the referee starts the count. Rosey slides Romeo back in the ring and slides in after him. Rosey tags in Hurricane and then sets Romeo up for a backbreaker. Hurricane climbs to the top rope. As Rosey hits the backbreaker, Hurricane hits a legdrop on Romeo. Hurricane goes for the cover. 1……….2…Antonio makes the save. The referee forces Antonio back to his corner and while his back is turned Romeo kicks Hurricane right square in the nuts. Hurricane falls to his knees holding himself and Romeo uses this opportunity to catch his breath leaning against the ropes before tagging in Antonio. Antonio picks Hurricane up and backs him into the corner before whipping across to the other side. Antonio charges in after him but Hurricane uses the ropes to slingshot over top of Antonio. WWE Smackdown

July 14, 2005

Columbus, Ohio

Smackdown kicks off live tonight for Columbus Ohio! The pyro explodes, and we’re ready to smack your TV! We go down to the broadcast position at ringside to see Michael Cole sitting by himself.

Cole- Welcome to Smackdown everyone. I am Michael Cole running solo here tonight due to the draft held last week. Tazz is gone to Raw, right now being wasted by that no good Eric Bischoff. But, the sho…

Suddenly some music plays in the arena, and out comes The Coach. He struts down to the ring, and takes a seat beside Cole. He starts talking smack to Cole, even before his headset is on correctly.

Coach- Let me tell you something Michael. If I ever hear you talk like that about Mr. Bischoff, I’ll smack the taste out of your mouth. He is far superior to Teddy Long, and you know it. One thing Long did that I applaud is making me the new voice of Smackdown! Howev…

Just then Coach is cut off by the music of WWE Champion John Cena! The fans let out their first pop of the night for The Doctor of Thugonomics. John enters the ring, and takes a mic, giving his belt a spin.

Cena- Is Columbus in the house!! Damn straight, representing the Chain Gang up in here. You know I’ve got a match in a couple of weeks at The Great American Bash against that punk JBL. I guess Teddy Long hasn’t figured out I’ve beaten him twice already. But that’s fine, once more ain’t nothin’! The fact is, this time around there will be only one man left standing. Meaning, JBL will have no choice but to leave me the hell alone when I beat his ass so bad he can’t even stand! So JBL, here it is. Come to The Bash with all you’ve got. I don’t want you coming up with any excuses. After ‘Mania you said my reign as WWE Champ would be short lived. Well, now is your chance, your LAST chance to prove it! At The Bash, BRING IT!!

Cena drops the mic with a thud. He puts up the Word Life sign, and exits the arena to a huge ovation.

After a break we see Chris Masters in the ring with cash in his trunks, and a mic in his hand.

Masters- Last week was my Smackdown unveiling! I must say, I did damn well too. So tonight I’m here to once again put my cash on the line. This time $13,000 of my money is on the line. So let’s see what we’ve got.

HELLO LADIES!!

Bath robe and all, out comes Val Venis. Yet another former Raw superstar makes his presence left on Smackdown. Val gives his towel to a lucky lady at ringside. She looks very happy, but Masters… not so much.

Masters- Whoa, I’ve beaten you so many times on Raw, I’m sick. So why don’t you head back there again, and let someone else try!

Val- What’s wrong scared Chris?

Masters gets very upset, and adjusts the chair angrily, screaming at Val to sit down. With that the challenge is on! Venis gets a huge burst of energy right out of the gate. This catches Masters off guard, and the Masterlock is almost broken in record time! However, The Masterpiece is able to get a good grip on the Full Nelson, and proceeds to squeeze away. Soon the adrenaline that Val had at the start begins to fade, as does he. The referee checks on Val, who cannot respond. The referee calls for the bell!

Winner: Chris Masters

Billy Kidman vs. Psychosis

The Start

Following a break, there is another match about ready to begin. Out first is Kidman, followed by Psychosis. Psychosis comes on a lawn mower, which has become The Mexicools’ trademark as of late. The bell rings, and the two meet centre ring. Psychosis is laughing, looking as if he’s having fun out there. Kidman however sees no fun in Psychosis, as he slaps the taste out of his mouth. Psychosis’ deposition changes quickly, as he connects with a forearm shot. He then whips Kidman into the ropes, and hits a dropkick.

Mid-Match

Following shots like the dropkick dished out by Psychosis, it looks like Kidman may be regretting the slap from earlier. Or at least that’s what it seemed in the early going. As the match progresses however, Kidman regroups. He suckers Psychosis into the corner at one point, and sends him shoulder first into the unforgiving steel post. Kidman sees that the shoulder is hurting, so he unloads with elbow drops to the target. He then wraps the entire arm around the top rope, and holds it until the referee gets his count up to four. Kidman backs off a bit, then charges towards Psychosis. The somewhat recovered Psychosis sees him coming however, and connects with a jumping leg lariat.

The Finish

Psychosis looks to capitalize on the fallen Kidman, by heading up to the top turnbuckle. Before he can even get set Kidman is on his feet, obviously playing possum that whole time. In only a few steps Kidman is sending Psychosis down to the mat with his version of a frankensteiner. He then heads up top again, this time looking for the Shooting Star Press. The finishing move is hit, and Kidman goes for the pin. Paul London is spotted at the entrance way by the cameras, and Kidman sees him too. So he breaks the pin, and goes up top again. A second Shooting Star is hit, this time with his knees connecting with Psychosis’ face. Psychosis not surprisingly looks to be out cold, as Kidman stares a hole into London. 1-2-3!!

Winner: Billy Kidman

London seems disgusted by Billy hitting the same shooting star press that has put guys like himself, and Chavo Guerrero on the self. Kidman however seems very pleased with himself, as he heads backstage.

Psychosis stands in the ring alone after the match, obviously a little shaken up. The referee tries to help him out. However MNM hit the ring, out of nowhere, and attack. Melina shouts out orders to her guys, as they lay a monster beating on Psychosis. They beat him almost to the point of blacking out. They however manage to get him on his feet, as they set up for the snap shot. They are sent into retreat however by Juventud running down with a steel chair in toe. MNM bail out, as Juvi leans on the ropes screaming in Spanish. The fans go crazy for the Mexicools as Psychosis makes it to his feet.

Psychosis lost overness from this segment

After a short break, the ring is decked out for Carlito’s Cabana, complete with palm trees, and apples. Speaking of apples, Carlito is standing in the ring, taking a huge bite out of an apple. Not far behind Carlito, in fact, insanely close to Carlito is the monster Matt Morgan. CCC tries to get away from Morgan, as he begins his segment.

CCC- Last week my guest was unable to attend the Cabana. Unfortunately, my guest tonight is here. He has been babbling in Japanese all night, in excitement. Who can blame him, it’s the Cabana. I just wish my guest had at least one brain cell. Anyway, here he is, Tajiri.

The Japanese Buzzsaw comes out to be a part of tonight’s Cabana to a good reaction from the crowd. Carlito looks less than impressed, and Matt Morgan isn’t even paying attention, but rather staring blankly at Carlito. Tajiri is now in the ring, and has a mic in hand. Carlito starts the interview.

CCC- So Tajiri, I know you’re a big Cabana fan. So let me ask you, how does it feel to be in the presence of greatness, Carlito Caribbean Cool? You know, I am a former United States Champion?

Tajiri- I love title belts. Tajiri win one some day!

CCC- I bet you will. But that wasn’t what I was saying. I was asking, how does it feel to know Carlito brought you on his show.

Tajiri- Me very happy. But not as happy as Matt Morgan.

Tajiri looks at Morgan, as does Carlito. They notice Morgan has a huge bulge in his pants. Carlito looks absolutely disgusted. However Morgan looks very proud of himself. Tajiri speaks again.

Tajiri- I think Carlito love Morgan.

CCC- Ok listen here Tajiri. Carlito is straight. I’m more of a man than you’ll ever be. I’m cool, your not!

Tajiri puckers his lips and mocks Caribbean Cool. This sends Carlito over the edge, as he sucker punches Tajiri, sending him down to the mat. He continues his assault by stomping the fallen Tajiri. He then takes a bite of an apple, and proceeds to spit it in the face of Tajiri. Morgan is now extremely happy, as he begins to massage Carlito’s shoulders. Carlito whips himself around screaming at Morgan. This verbal beating continues until the duo is behind the curtain. The camera pans on Tajiri collecting himself in the ring, as we cut to break.

Orton vs. Jindrak

The Start

As we return, Mark Jindrak is in the ring awaiting his opponent. Randy Orton’s music then hits, and the fans erupt into boos for the Legend Killer. Orton poses with his fireworks going off behind him. He soaks up every bit of the fans disapproval of him, as he steps through the ropes. He then taunts Jindrak, as the bell rings to start this one.

Mid-Match

Orton controls the better part of this match. All the while he seems very cocky, and arrogant. The tide turns as Orton goes up to the top turnbuckle. He looks for a axe handle drop, but instead gets turned inside out by a dropkick that connected with his gut. This short comeback by Jindrak gets a small pocket of cheers from some fans. However it doesn’t last, as Orton uses every trick in the book in order to regain control.

The Finish

After about eight minutes of just beats the crap out of Jindrak, Orton decides to put him away. So he decides to grab a chair from ringside, and sizes Mark up for a shot. This brings out US Champ Booker T! Orton sees him, and drops the chair. He points to Book, and hits Jindrak with a vicious RKO. All the while staring at Booker T, he pins Mark for the win. As the Legend Killer’s music plays, he jaws away at Booker T, who jaws back.

Winner: Randy Orton

Orton’s music is cut, and the Legend Killer stops taunting Booker. Teddy Long is shown on the Titan-Tron, and he doesn’t look pleased.

Long- Orton your about on my last nerve playa! You have shown nothing but disrespect for Booker T, and more importantly the US Title from your first day on Smackdown! So that’s why I think you should get respect shown to you the hard way. I am making a match right here for Smackdown’s next Pay Per View, The Great American Bash. It will be Randy Orton versus…Booker T! For the WWE United States Championship. Holla back playa!

Both Orton and Booker look pleased with that announcement, as Orton continues motioning towards Booker that the US Title will be his.

Whipwreck vs. Greiner

The Start

This week the fan have gained a little more respect for Greiner. Proof of this is the next on Smackdown. It starts with Whipwreck extending his hand out to Sylvain, as the fans yell for Greiner to knock Mikey’s teeth in. Wisely Greiner slaps Whipwreck’s hand away, and prepares for a lock up. Sinister Minister yells at Greiner, yelling him he made a bad move.

Mid Match

The match had started very slowly, with neither man knowing much about his opponent. But as the match goes on, they get into quite the slug fest. As the slug fest goes on, it favors Mikey, who has spent time in ECW. Not to mention, he has the Minister on the outside, choking Sylvain with his cain at every opportunity. As the match goes on however, Sylvain is able to change the style of the match, and take control over the brawler. The brawling continues on both sides however, and that results in the referee catching an arid fist from Greiner.

The Finish

Sylvain has total control of the match for quite some time. But is unable to score the three. So he goes for a huge risk, up on the top turnbuckle. It’s not hard to see he is out of his element big time up there, and Sinister Minister is able to take advantage of it. He gets on the apron, and crack his cane over Greiner’s back. He crashes down to the mat. Mikey picks him up, and hits the Whiplash for a final nail in the coffin. The referee is revived just in time to count, 1-2-3!!

Winner: Mikey Whipwreck

After the match Sinister Minister gets into the ring, and now Greiner is being double teamed. Not for long however, as Rene Dupree hits the ring, and cases both men off. He checks on his former partner, as the whole building goes crazy.

Backstage we have Todd Grisham standing by with HBK Shawn Michaels.

Todd- I’m standing here with the Hearbreak Kid Shawn Michaels. Shawn tonight you team with WWE Champion John Cena as you both try and teach JBL and Edge a lesson in the main event.

HBK- See that’s where you’re wrong Todd. Tonight will not be the only night I teach Edge a lesson. I talked to Teddy Long not long ago, and he granted me a match. So, at The Great American Bash your gonna see Edge & Christian take on HBK Shawn Michaels and…, well your just gonna have to wait for that part. As far as tonight goes, I’ll be proud to team with John Cena and tare the house down!

With that Shawn leaves the interview area. Grisham looks in the direction HBK went, as the camera quickly switches to a different part of the building…

We are treated to the ladies locker room, where it appears Victoria has jumped Christy Hemme. It is no secret that before the draft, these two ladies didn’t really see eye to eye. Victoria always thought Christy was a weak link in the women’s division. However, right now it seems Christy is proving her wrong, as she giving a pretty good fight. This fight doesn’t last, as officials are on the scene. This doesn’t stop the verbal war, as Victoria promises to rip Christy apart, as we go to break. The Main Event is next!

John Cena and Shawn Michaels vs. John Bradshaw Layfield and Edge

The Start

First out is Edge to huge heat, and a few “You Screwed Matt” chants. He soaks it all up, clutching his money in the bank briefcase. His tag team partner for the night, JBL, comes out via his long horns limo. The two meet in the ring, and shake hands. Now it’s time for the faces. AW AW AW SHAWN!! HBK dances his way out to the ring, much to the dismay of Edge who snarls at Shawn. Michaels waits on the outside, for the WWE Champ. Lastly out comes John Cena! The Doctor Of Thugonomics meets up with Michaels, and they both charge the ring to jump start the match!

Mid-Match

The match started very out of control, and hectic. But soon everything is back to normal with Shawn and Edge starting off the match. The two go back and forth with punches, and eventually Shawn wins the battle. He attempts to whip Edge into the ropes, but it is reversed, and JBL is able to get his knee into Shawn lower back. The referee didn’t see that, but he does catch a tag between Edge and JBL. In comes the #1 contender, unloading on HBK. He focuses on the back for a long while. He even gets Shawn to the point where he can’t even stand. JBL waits for HBK to get to his feet, so he can take Shawn’s head off. Shawn gets to his feet, and catches JBL with a surprise Sweet Chin Music. Michaels collapse, but is still able to tag in WWE Champ, John Cena.

The Finish

Following the hot tag, the champ unloads on all comers! Edge runs into the ring, but Cena takes care of him quickly. He gives JBL the “You Can’t See Me” sign, and sets him up on his shoulders for the F-U. Edge returns to the ring however, and spears Cena. Back in comes HBK, as he takes Edge over the top rope, while taking himself over too. Meanwhile, JBL has Cena pinned. 1-2-KICK OUT!! Joey: That’s right everybody. We have the fallout from last week’s heavyweight title match, the cruiserweights of the Extreme Brand will be in action and the b.W.o will be here live.

The music of the Sandman begins to play as we go to the ring

Segment 1: The New Extreme Champion has something to say

The new Extreme Heavyweight Champion of the World, The Sandman, comes out to a loud ovation as he struts to the ring with his cigarettes, a 12 pack of beer, and the Extreme Heavyweight Title wrapped his waist. He slowly makes his way into the ring as he takes a long swig of beer and begins to bash the can against his head. He than spews it everywhere as the fans go wild.

Sandman: Well Baltimore, lets go ahead and have a look see at what happened last week.

The footage is shown of The Sandman giving the White Russian Legsweep to Rhyno threw the table set up in the corner and than of him getting the 1,2,3.

Sandman: Oh yeah, you people probably loved it, but I tell you, I loved beating the living hell out of Rhyno last week and now tonight, he is probably back there crying his little eyes out because he lost one of his two titles. Well Rhyno, let me tell you something, you can cry about it or you can come down to this ring and you can try to get this belt back.

Right after the Sandman speaks the last word, Rhyno’s music plays loudly over the P.A as he comes out to a loud amount of boo’s with the Extreme Television Title wrapped around his waist. Rhyno is given a microphone from one of the production crew.

Rhyno: As much as I would love to gore you right in the middle of that ring tonight and take back what is mine, I have something rather different in mind tonight and it has absolutely nothing to do with your drunk ass.

The fans begin to chant pussy, which has bleeped out by Spike TV.

Rhyno: Shut up, you will listen when I speak. You chant that now, but by the end of the night, you will be chanting my name because I am issuing an open challenge to anybody in that locker room who wants to try and take away my Television title and Sandman, I will be taking back my World title when the time is right. You just remember to watch your back or you will find yourself GORED!

Rhyno’s music plays over the P.A as he heads to the back as Extreme TV heads into it’s first commercial break.

Rating: 78

-Commercial Break-

Joey Styles: Welcome back to Extreme TV ladies and gentlemen, and what about what we just saw Paul, Rhyno issuing an open challenge to for the Television title here tonight.

Paul: Indeed, this is good TV, better than whatever comes on this network Mondays at around 8, isn't that right Joey?

Joey: Your damn right Paul and here we go with our first match-up of the evening.

Segment 2: Akio vs. Tracy Smothers vs. Kid Kash

Akio comes out first to some boos and some cheers as nobody knows what to expect from him now that he is on the Extreme Brand. Tracy Smothers is the next to come out from behind the curtain to the cheers, as he is a familiar face to the Extreme fans. Kid Kash perhaps gets the largest amount of boo’s as he taunts the crowd. He finally rolls into the ring and we have ourselves a nice triple threat match.

Akio and Kid Kash start out to team up on Tracy. Akio hits him with a nice suplex as Kid Kash starts stomping away on the downed Tracy. Both men throw him to the ropes as Tracy ducks the double elbow attack and comes back with a huge shoulder block to hit both men. Tracy dumps Kash to the outside and goes to work on Akio by slapping on figure four. Tracy holds the hold on for another minute before Akio reaches the ropes. Kash comes in with a chair and levels Tracy over the head. Kash waits for Akio to get up. Akio uses the ropes to pull himself up as Kash comes charging over with the steel chair in hand. Akio reverses by sending Kash flying over the top rope. Akio walks over and picks Tracy up and throws him to the corner. Akio runs over and does a back flip by walking on him. He than takes the confused Tracy and rolls him in a school boy for a long 2 count. Kash runs back in the with chair and swings wildly, but Akio ducks it and dropkicks it right back in his face. Akio climbs up the top rope and hits a nice moonsault on Kash. Akio managed to stay on for the pin, but Kash yet again kicks out 2. Tracy gets back up and clothesline Akio down and pins Kash, only to get a 2 count. Tracy picks Kash and goes for a suplex, but Kash reverses into the Kashflow. Akio gets up and smashes Kash with the chair that was in the ring. Akio runs over to the ropes and hits Tracy with a Corkscrew Splash for the 1,2,3.

Match: 79

Crowd: 54

Overall: 59 **

Winner: Akio by pinfall

Segment 3: b.W.o Reveal

As the 3 participants from the last match make their way to the back, the music for the b.W.o begins to play as Big Stevie Cool, The Blue Guy, and Hollywood Nova step out from behind the curtain. Stevie has the microphone in his cut off blue jean shorts as all three members pose in the ring to the crowds delight.

Stevie: Well ladies and gentlemen, the Blue World Order is back and I still have the 3 simple words for the locker room here and that is... WERE TAKING OVER!

Hollywood Nova: Well you know somethin’ dudes, when we were drafted over to the Extreme Brand dudes, we decided that we need another person to make taking over a reality brothers!

The Blue Guy: Thats right, so everybody, say hello to... “Big Papa Chump” John Hedienrich!

The b.W.o music kicks back up as Big Papa Chump steps out in Scott Steiners old double strap white wrestling uniform. He stops just after coming out to flex his muscles, which in no way compare to Scott Steiner’s steroid muscles. He struts down to the ring and the Blue Guy hands him the mic.

Big Papa Chump: WHERE ARE ALL MY FREAKS?

The fans cheer loudly while others are laughing out loud, very loud.

Big Papa Chump: You know when I showed up today, I had my friends come over to my locker room and they said “Hey, why don't you have a tag match with the Blue Guy tonight and see if we can get some gold in the b.W.o.” I said hell yeah, so lets bring out the victims so the Blue Guy and Big Pappa Chump can get on out of here.

Extreme TV than cuts to a quick commercial break

Rating: 68

-Commercial Break-

Segment 4: b.W.o. IV (Big Papa Chump/The Blue Guy) vs. JT Smith/Robert Conway

JT Smith walks on down and gets no reaction what so ever. Rob Conway comes out in his old La Resistance trunks, but no French Flag. The fans boo him as he rolls into the ring. The b.W.o wasted no time in attacking both men as Big Papa Chump clotheslined JT Smith over the top rope. The Blue Guy just started throwing punches until Chump came over and hit a double suplex on both. Conway rolls out of the ring as JT runs in and starts attacking the Blue Guy as Chump is forced out of the ring by the referee. Blue Guy reverses an irish whip and hits a shoulder block on JT Smith as Stevie Cool and Hollywood Nova are at ringside cheering them on. Da Blue Guy tags out as Conway appears to have given up and takes a walk to the back. Chump comes in and back JT into the corner and just starts throwing punches that lands right on the mush of JT. Chump brings him back out and slaps the Steiner Recliner! Joey Styles calls it the Generic Sofa Recliner as JT taps out rather quickly

Match: 67

Crowd: 59

Overall: 56 *

Winners: Big Papa Chump and The Blue Guy

(Robert Conway is losing overness because of his weak gimmick)

Segment 5: Chris Benoit interview

We cut to the back where Chris Benoit is standing by, microphone in hand.

Benoit: Well it seems like I am back home where I belong and now that I am home, I can release the true wolverine here. Next week, I will be in action, and everybody out their in TV land and the live crowd how truly rabid this wolverine is.

Segment 6: TV Title match ??? vs. Rhyno

We return from commercial break with Rhyno coming down to the ring with the Television title in his right hand as he climbs into the ring. He takes the microphone away from the ring announcer and looks around at the crowd before speaking.

Rhyno: Now the time has come for my challenger to come out here and face the music.

The Sandman’s music begins to play and Rhyno is livid as Joey lets out his trademarked “OH MY GOD!” The Sandman drops the beer he was holding and rushes to the ring, kendo stick in hand. The Sandman swings widly, but Rhyno ducks and hits the Gore! He goes for the pin but only gets a 2 count. He goes to the outside and grabs and chair and comes back in. He swings widly and misses and Sandman drops down to his knees and hits him low. Sandman picks up the kendo stick and swings for Rhyno’s head. Rhyno ducks and runs to the ropes. Rhyno goes for another Gore, but Sandman moves out of the way and finally smashes Rhyno over the head with his kendo stick. Sandman goes to the outside and grabs a table from under the ring and pushes it into the ring. He climbs in and Rhyno comes at him with a clothesline and connects. Rhyno sets the table up in the corner and grabs the chair. He lands a shot or two to the Sandman’s back and calls for another Gore. Rhyno throws Sandman to the ropes and smashes him with a Gore that goes threw the table. Rhyno recovers quickly and pulls the Sandman back out to the middle of the ring for the 3 count. Rhyno retreats and celebrates with his Television title as the referee checks on the Sandman.

Raw

July 18, 2005

US Bank Arena

Cincinnati, Ohio

Attendance: 8,009

Rating: 5.68

~ The show opens with the new opening video package followed by a slow shot of Raw General Manager Eric Bischoff. Following that the opening pyro screams towards the stage and the crowd in Cincinnati erupts for the start of Raw!

J.R.: Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to Raw! We are live from Cincinnati, and what a night we have planned for you tonight.

King: Yeah J.R. in tonight's main event we will see Kane face Triple H one on one!

~ Batista's music starts up and cuts of Lawler before he can say anymore. Out comes the World Heavyweight Champion in his suit and high dollar attire to a loud pop from the audience. Batista climbs in the ring with the belt placed over his shoulder. He has a microphone in his hand and begins to address the audience.

Batista: You know, Triple H, I am getting real sick and tired of you sticking your big ass nose in my business. Everytime I turn around there you are, with Flair right behind you, kissing your ass! Last week you came out here and had the nerve to challenge me to another match? I've already beaten you three times with the title on the line. How many times do I have to beat you before you get the message, Hunter? I'm better than you. I always will be. You may be the ten time champion, Triple H, but I am the man that beat you on the tenth time.

Overall Rating: 88

~ "I'm back...........and better than ever!" starts up as Raw General Manager Eric Bischoff walks out from the back and heads to the ring. As Bischcoff climbs in the ring he smiles at Batista before talking into his microphone.

Bischoff: Batista, if you really want to end this thing with Triple H.....allow me to do you a favor. At SummerSlam, you two will face each other for the World Heavyweigh Title. (pop) BUT.......since you guys have faced each other so many times already, this match is missing something. It needs something spectacular. Although I don't quite have all the details ironed out yet, there will be a special stipulation for this match. As soon as everything is finalised I will make an announcement right here on Raw about that stipulation, but rest assured, Batista, it will be something that nobody has ever seen before.

Overall Rating: 83

~ We fade to commercial.

~ We see Kenzo Suzuki in the ring and some generic latin music starts up as Super Crazy makes his way to the ring. He runs down the ramp slides in the ring does a brief head stand before flipping over onto his feet.

J.R.: Well King, we heard what the Raw main event will be for SummerSlam! Batista will put the title on the line against Triple H!

Super Crazy vs. Kenzo Suzuki

As he hits his ten punches the audience counts along (in English except for the tried and true ECW smarks in the audience who counted in Spanish). Crazy hops out of the corner and hip tosses Suzuki down to the mat. Crazy climbs to the top rope and hits a guillotine leg drop on Suzuki before going for the pin. 1..........2.....kick out! Then he moves his legs down and kicks Super Crazy in the face to break the hold. Suzuki gets back to his feet and picks Crazy back up to whip him to the ropes. We then go to the back where we see Marty Jannetty with his arm around Eugene's back as they are walking down a cooridor. Jannetty has a black duffle bag in his hand and as they approach a locker room door with a star on it, Jannetty hands him the bag.

Jannetty: Eugene, I talked your Uncle Eric into giving us a tag match tonight.

Eugene: Me and you?

Jannetty: Yeah, buddy. And I bought you some new gear. It's here in this bag. Hurry up and get ready, buddy. Our match is next.

~ Romeo knocks Eugene out of the ring and takes his spot on the apron. Antonio beats on Jannetty down in the corner. Antonio picks him back up and chops him in the chest. Antonio whips Jannetty acrossed the ring but he reverses it sending Antonio to the corner. Jannetty charges in and hits a monkey flip on Antonio sending him to the center of the ring. Eugene tries to emulate Jannetty but becomes tangled up in the ropes and requires assistance from his partner before they walk off to the back. Then we see a shot of a hallway in the back where Joel Gertner is standing. He is in front of a large buffet table picking up snacks of various sorts.

Gertner: (mimicking Bischoff) Get me some food, Joel.......get me some coffee, Joel! I'm going to give him a good kick in the ass one of these days.

~ A deep voice is heard from somewhere off camera.

Deep Voice: Hey, you gonna eat all that?

~ Joel Gertner turns around to see a very large Mark Henry standing there.

Snitsky is back to his feet and turns around to get greeted by a missile dropkick from Benjamin sending both men to the canvas. Benjamin gets back to his feet first and he then helps Snitsky up as well. Benjamin whips Snitsky into the ropes and as he comes back he nails Snitsky with another dropkick. Benjamin climbs to the top rope again and hits a big elbow drop. Benjamin then picks Snitsky up off the mat. All of a sudden all of the lights in the arena go off.

J.R.: Well apparently Sabu wants to be a part of the show one way or another.

~ Mysterio high fives some fans on the way to the ring before we hear a cell phone ring followed by "Can you feel the heat?" and Eddie Guerrero makes his entrance.

Rey Mysterio vs. Eddie Guerrero

Referee for this match: Jim Cordaris

Mysterio then hops to the top rope and bounds onto Guerrero's shoulders and hits the hurricanrana causing Guerrero to fly between the ropes and to the arena floor. Mysterio climbs to the top rope and hits a diving plancha on Guerrero on the floor. Both men are laying on the protective padding on the floor as the ref starts his mandatory ten count. Mysterio gets back to his feet first and as he tries to help Guerrero up, Eddie grabs him by the tights and pulls him backwards causing Mysterio to crash into the steel steps head first. The ref reaches five on his count as Guerrero rolls in the ring to stop the count and then rolls back out. He picks Mysterio up and whips him into the security barrier back first. He raises his hand and is about to knock on the door when the door opens and out walks Big Show with his pants unbuttoned and pulling a shirt over his head. Maven looks a little confused.

Maven: What are you doing here?

J.R.: Looks like Lita has been a busy lady.

WWE Smackdown

July 21, 2005

Grand Rapids, Michigan

Smackdown kicks off with the typical video package, and pyro. Then we zoom down to the broadcast position where Michael Cole and The Coach are sitting.

Cole: welcome everyone to Smackdown live here tonight from Grand Rapids Michigan! Along side me tonight is The Coach.

Coach: You damn right fool!

AW AW AW SHAWNNNN!!!! We kick Smackdown off tonight with HBK coming down to the ring receiving a massive reaction from the thousands in attendance.

Coach: I can’t believe I got cut off by the likes of this. What does he want?

We soon find out as HBK’s music dies down and he takes a mic.

HBK: For weeks now I’ve been bothered by that little punk Edge. In fact even before the draft, Edge has been a thorn in my side. But now he has his brother along side him, to help reek havoc on the WWE. Well boys, HBK has had enough. I want a match at the Great American Bash. You two against me, and my partner. Who have I got in mind you ask? Well stick around, you’ll find out soon enough!

Shawn drops the mic, and leaves the ring, leaving each and every fan on the edge of their seat. The suspense begins to build as to who Michaels’ partner is going to be.

Billy Kidman vs. Scotty 2 Hotty

The Start

Coming back from commercial we are set for the first match of the evening. Out first is the very energetic Scotty. He dances into the ring, and awaits his opponent. Kidman’s music hits and he makes his way to the ring. Kidman shows little emotion on his way to the ring, he just gets in, takes his ring jacket off, and waits in the corner. The bell rings, and Scotty plays to the crowd right away, clapping his hands together. With his attention turned, Scotty is jumped by Kidman to start this matchup.

Mid Match

After an early mugging by Kidman, Scotty begins to regain his composure. He fights back on the vicious Kidman with forearm shots. He whips Kidman into the ropes, and meets him with a flying back elbow directed right at the heart. He nips up, and waits for Kidman to get up also. As Kidman slowly gets to his feet he is met with a dropkick, Kidman is up quickly this time, and is sent down with another. Scotty is on fire in this match right now! Kidman rolls to the outside, to stop Scotty’s momentum. This plan doesn’t work however as Scotty launches himself over the top rope to the floor with a version of the Wild Thing(used by Marc Mero in his Wildman days). Scotty rolls Kidman in and looks for the win. 1-2-kick out!

The Finish

As the match went on it seemed Scotty was losing stem. The Wild Thing seemed to take as much if not more out of him then it did Kidman. Kidman takes full advantage of Scotty’s energy loss. As the match grows older the match becomes slower, favoring Kidman in the long run. Not only that, but it appeared Scotty tweaked his knee at some point. Kidman feels the time is right, so he drags Scotty’s carcass over to the corner, and then climbs the turnbuckle. He hits a modified version of the Shooting Star Press, driving his own knee into Scotty’s injured knee. With that he is able to make the cover.1-2-3!

Winner: Billy Kidman

After the match, Kidman looks deep into the TV camera, and speaks clearly and plainly.

Kidman: London, this thing ends at the Bash!

Backstage we see Mark Jindrak at the catering area grabbing some food. He grabs a small paper plate with a piece of apple pie on it. Jindrak begins stuffing the pie in, just as Muhammad Hassan comes up from behind him.

Hassan: How pathetic! Look at you downing that apple pie. You must be pretty proud to be an American huh, how sad!

Jindrak: Yeah damn right I’m proud. This is the greatest time in history to be a proud American. Think about it, it summer time. We’re kicking some serious ass in Iraq. Plus we have the Great American Bash coming in just a couple weeks!

Hassan: Ah yes, the Great American Bash. The pay per view that Theodore Long has yet to book me in. You know I deserve some respect. And I’m going to get it. Starting with punks just like you. How about me and you at the Bash?

Jindrak: Are you kidding me? I don’t want to waste my time with the likes of you. I’ve got matches with superstars like Randy Orton. I have bigger fish to fry. I’ll get a match for the Bash just wait and see. But I’ll tell you what, I’ll take on your America hating’ ass next week!

Hassan turns away for a few seconds, then attacks! He beats Jindrak all around the food, finally leaving down in a heap on the ground.

Joey Mercury vs. Paul London-Cruiserweight Title

The Start

Out first is one half of MNM Joey Mercury. The carpet is out, and the paparazzi are out in full force snapping pictures as Mercury comes out with Melina at his side. After Melina enters the ring in her unique style, the music of Cruiserweight Champion Paul London hits. He rushes to the ring, slides under the ropes, and stomps around the ring. The bell sounds, and the action is on!

Mid Match

Mercury slows down the fast paced action London had going in the early part of the match. In doing so, Joey has shifted the momentum his way. He pounds London’s back with a double axehandle, sending the champ to the mat. He then taunts Paul as he screams in pain. Mercury takes this time to snap a fake picture of the fallen champ. From his knees, London fights back with a semi effective punch to the gut. Due to it not having much steam however, Mercury is able to shake it off, and go back to work. He focuses on London’s back, for the most part. He feels so confident during the course of the match, he even makes gestures of the belt around his waist.

The Finish

London’s mounds a bit of a come back on Mercury after taking much punishment. The challenger is reeling, on the brink of giving in. Paul takes this time to head up to the top, to perhaps put an end to this one. However it appears Mercury was only playing possum, as he sprints up to the top turnbuckle to meet London. Joey sets up for a massive superplex. With a hand on the top rope, Paul blocks the attack. He then takes Mercury and sends him face first down to the mat. Joey flips over to his back from the impact, in perfect position for London’s finisher. Paul sets himself up steady, before hitting his 450 splash. 1-2-3!!

Winner: Still Cruiserweight Champion, Paul London

Matt Morgan vs. Tajiri

The Start

Out first is the Japanese Buzzsaw Tajiri, who walks to the ring in a rather crouched position. He rolls under the bottom rope, and awaits the large challenge set up for him tonight in the form of Matt Morgan. Morgan soon is on his way to the ring also, along with Carlito. Morgan enters over the top rope, and looks down at Tajiri. He then burst out into laughter, Carlito soon follows, as they mock the smaller Tajiri. Tajiri, showing no fear challenges Morgan to a test of strength. Morgan seems confused, but puts his hand to Tajiri’s, as they lock up. Morgan raises the other hand too, but is met by a massive kick to the thigh as only Tajiri can do. Carlito is fuming on the outside, as Tajiri gains an early advantage in this one.

Mid Match

From the get go, obviously Tajiri’s strategy was to take out Matt’s legs, breaking him down to size. With tactics like he showed in the early going, including the tarantula, he succeeded for the most part. However, soon Morgan had had enough, and his mean streak was shining through. As Tajiri tried once again to lock in the tarantula, Morgan turned himself around and pushed Tajiri out to the floor, head first! He then proceeded to inflict pain on the outside of the ring, while obeying the referee’s ten second count. This was not the Matt Morgan we had seen in the past few weeks hitting on his master Carlito, this was Matt Morgan the monster! In the ring he clubbed away on Tajiri’s back like there was no tomorrow. Tajiri struggled to even gain a vertical base. This made Carlito very happy on the outside.

The Finish

Soon Morgan’s animal instincts seemed to fade. Making Carlito proud was getting Matt so pumped up, at times he’d forget about the match. He would look to the arena floor, and stare at Carlito. Caribbean Cool finally got on the apron, screaming at Morgan to pay attention. This forced the referee to restrain Carlito, giving Tajiri time to hit the mist into the eyes of Morgan. With Morgan blinded, Tajiri went to the top, and hit a frankensteiner on Matt, followed up by a pin, 1-2-3!

Winner: Tajiri

Carlito is furious on the outside, screaming at the blinded Matt as Smackdown goes to a break.

My Time Is Now plays throughout the arena as WWE Champ John Cena makes his way to the ring. He throws up his word life sign to the fans, as the building goes crazy. He takes a mic, and with a grin on his face, asks for the music to be cut.

Cena: You know, JBL has been on my ass ever sense Wrestlemania. It’s been fun beating his ass as many times as I have. But the fact is, I’ve had enough! Well almost. You see I figured a guy like JBL isn’t gonna stop until he gets a fair shot. So, I’ve talked Teddy Long into making this final match between us a Last Man Standing match! So JBL, get ready for the bash bitch! You say that it is your pay per view, well I guess you’ll have to prove it!

With that said, Cena leaves the ring, putting up the word life sign to the delight of his chain gang.

The camera shows Cena on his way to the back, but then quickly switches over to see Teddy Long in his office. Things begin to quiet down, and Mr. Long begins to speak.

Randy Orton vs. Mark Jindrak

The Start

During Mr. Long’s announcement, Mark Jindrak had made his way to the ring. He is now standing in a corner, awaiting the Legend Killer. Randy Orton’s music hits, and out comes the man himself. He does his pose on the stage, as the fireworks goes off behind him. He then struts his way to the ring, for this match. The bell sounds when the referee has checked both men for hidden weapons, and the match is on!

Mid-Match

Orton tried to intimidate the youngster in the early going. But Jindrak didn’t fall for any of it, knowing what Orton is all about. The decision to go right for Orton paid off great for Jindrak, as he is the aggressor right from the start. But as the match went on, Jindrak started making mistakes. Finally, Orton caught on when Jindrak ducked his head while trying to hit a back body drop. Orton took full advantage with a vicious DDT, which folded Jindrak up like an accordion. Orton does his pose before attempting a very half assed pin attempt. Not surprisingly, only a two count was accomplished. Orton doesn’t seemed too worried however, as he picks Jindrak up by his hair. With Mark on his knees, Orton taunts and screams at him. Just when it seemed Jindrak was down and out however, Orton’s screams seemed to give him new life, as he grabs Orton’s trunks and tosses him through the ropes, and to the floor.

The Finish

The action spills out to the floor for a bit, as both men take every liberty possible with steel objects on the outside, including steel steps, and the guardrail. It appears as though Orton has gained the most out of this exchange, as he leaves Jindrak lying on the ring mats at ringside, hoping for a count out victory. It appeared that was exactly what he was going to get, but at the 8 count, Jindrak dragged his broken body back into the ring. Orton once again stayed very cool and calm, as he allowed Jindrak to his feet. Only to hit the RKO, and send him back down. He then went for the pin, 1-2-kickout!! Now the pressures of the match are starting to get to the Legend Killer. He never expected Jindrak to kick out of his RKO. He waits once again for his adversary to get to his feet. This time he took a run off the ropes, and hit another RKO. Pin attempt once more, 1-2-3!

Winner: Randy Orton

Back from break we see the ring set up for another edition of Carlito’s Cabana. The host of the show Carlito is on his way to the ring with apple in hand. Not far behind, literally, is his bodyguard Matt Morgan. Who is still whipping Tajiri’s mist from his eyes from earlier in the night. As CCC enters the ring, he very sternly tells Morgan to stay on the outside. Carlito gets in the ring with a grin. He is then handed a mic.

CCC: Ok so earlier on didn’t go so well for us. But that changes at the Great American Bash. Finally Teddy Long has done the right thing, he has given me a match with that punk Tajiri! What happened tonight was no cool. But at the Bash, all things once again become…cool! Anyway, tonight on the Cabana we have someone who everyone in this arena should look up to. This is a man who does nothing wrong. Here he is ladies and gentlemen, Edge!

You Think You Know Me… Smoke fills the entrance way as Edge comes storming out from the back filled with energy. He slides in the ring, and takes a mic of his own. His music dies down, and small pockets of You Screwed Matt, and We Want Matt chants start up. Instantly Matt Morgan gets up on the apron to cover Edge’s ears. Edge shrugs him off, and soaks in the chants.

CCC: Excuse these people Edge, they spend too much time in their parents basements. They don’t know cool like we do.

Edge: You got that right Carlito, these people spend way to much time reading dirt sheets, and interfering in something they know nothing about.

CCC: Look I don’t know who these people are talking about. But one guy I know about is Shawn Michaels. He was out here earlier telling all these people he has someone who he is bringing to the bash to take on you and Christian…

Edge: I’m not afraid of that punk. I’ve beaten him so many times, he has no meaning to me anymore. He is no legend, no show stopper, no main event that’s for sure. Listen to me Shawn, you’re almost out of time. It doesn’t matter anyway, whoever you had in mind probably doesn’t have the guts to take on the greatest tag team in the game today…

All of the sudden the lights in the arena go out. The fans go absolutely insane, as they think they know what’s going on. Before anything happens however, the lights are back on, and Edge is wearing the face of complete fear.

Edge: This interview is over!

He then drops his mic with a thud, and exits through the crowd like a coward.

Edge lost 2 points of overness from this segment.

John Cena vs. Orlando Jordon

The Start

The match made my GM Long earlier in the night is up next. First out is Orlando Jordon. He comes out in the longhorn limo, alongside #1 Contender JBL. They step out of the limo, and give the longhorn sign to the crowd. This is not well received, as the two are met with massive heat on their way to the ring. The music of JBL stops, there is a short pause, then the trumpets sound and WWE Champ John Cena comes out. The fans go absolutely ballistic as their hero comes out. Cena hands his belt over to the ref, JBL leaves the ring, and the bell sounds!

Mid Match

In the early going, John Cena had adrenaline like you wouldn’t believe. This alone gave him the advantage. But it seemed to fade early, and that’s when Jordon took over. It also helped that JBL was on the outside. Any chance he got was taken, whether it been holding John’s foot, or tripping him completely. So thanks to his mentor, Orlando Jordon seemed to have Cena exactly where he wanted him. This is when Jordon’s amateur boxing background came out in full force. He jabbed Cena until Cena couldn’t stand. Jordon then went outside his box a bit, by climbing the turnbuckles. Up on the top turnbuckle, Orlando hit Cena with a well placed axe handle shot.

The Finish

As things go even longer, it looks worse for John. JBL is still taking every chance he can get to make it harder for Cena. But soon, it catches up with Bradshaw, the referee finally catches him in the act, and boots him from the ringside area! This has Jordon furious on the inside. His attention is not on Cena anymore, and John takes full advantage. He spins Jordon around, and unloads with punches. These punches however did not come from an amateur boxing background. JBL has yet to leave the arena, as he watches Cena deliver blow after blow. Finally, Orlando is on the champs shoulders, Cena looks straight at JBL, and drives Jordon down! 1-2-3!!

Winner: WWE Champion, John Cena

We go to our final commercial break with JBL and Cena jaw jacking like you wouldn’t believe.

After the show’s final commercial break, we hear some familiar music. AW AW AW SHAWNNN!! It looks like we’re ending the show the same we started it, with the Heartbreak Kid Shawn Michaels. This time Shawn comes out with less dance and flair. He just gets in the ring, and takes a mic.

HBK: Well well well. I listened to Edge run his mouth earlier about how unafraid of me he was. But in the same breath he almost soiled himself when I dropped a little surprise on the Cabana. So boys, if you want to hear the rest of my surprise, be my guest to a front row seat. Come on down!

Christian’s music plays, and Captain Charisma walks out onto the stage. He taunts HBK, screaming and making gestures. Shawn is so wrapped up in seeing this; he doesn’t notice Edge sneaking through the crowd, the same way he left the Cabana, and into the ring. He jumps HBK, and kicks him while he is down. Christian sprints down to the ring, joining in on the beating. Shawn can’t defend himself against this two on one assault. But he doesn’t have to for long, as once again the lights in the arena go out. Once again the crowd is a buzz. The buzz gets louder as the lights are brought back to life. Standing behind E & C is none other than The Undertaker! Christian has to take a double take, as he can’t believe it! Single handedly Taker unloads on the brothers with punches. He has Edge reeling on the ropes, and Christian on the verge of falling over. Shawn Michaels gets back to his feet after a long breather, and takes Edge and himself over the top rope with a vicious clothesline. Christian is now left alone with the Dead Man. Taker gives the thumb over the throat sign, as he lifts Christian for the tombstone piledriver. He drills Christian’s head into the mat, just as the bell tolls. The last image shown is The Undertaker standing over the Captain with eyes rolled back into his head.
