WOMEN'S TITLE TRIPLE THREAT MATCH

Trish Stratus vs. Christy Hemme vs. Victoria

A pretty slow paced matchup here between the returning women's champion, Trish Stratus and her opponents for the night, Christy and Victoria. Victoria had the upper hand for most of the match. She took Trish out of the picture early on, and went to work on Christy Hemme, who was relentless to stay in the match and not give in to Victoria's power. Trish then suddenly ran into the ring and gave Victoria a chin kick, sending her right to the outside. Christy was lying on the floor in pain as Trish crawled over her for a cheap count of three and her title retained.

Shelton Benjamin was backstage, talking about the big battle royal tonight for the number one contendership. He says that it doesn't matter to him whether he wins or not, he knows he'll get to the belt one way or the other. The only thing he cares about is eliminating the one man that made his life a living hell on smackdown, Kurt Angle.

TAG TEAM TITLE MATCH

The Hurricane and Rosey vs. Chavo Guerrero and Rene Dupree

Chavo and Rene worked extremely well together during this match despite the fact that they were first time teammates. They held the advantage on The Hurricane for most of the matchup, tagging each other in and out and using some nice tag team manovers to gain the upper hand. Hurricane reverses the momentum by giving Chavo a dropkick, and tagging in his tag team partner, Rosey. Rosey runs right into the ring and sends Rene Dupree to the mat with a hard clotheline. He then irish whips the french man into the turnbuckle and squashes him completely against it! Chavo gets on the top rope now. He jumps off and tries to knock Rosey down with a cross body, but gets caught in mid air. Rosey then knocks Chavo down as well with a strong powerslam and makes the cover 1...2...kick out! Rene Dupree is back up now. He runs over to the scene and begins nailing Rosey over the head with some right hands, althoug he's not doing much damage. Hurricane is up on the top rope behind Dupree, as he jumps off, but Dupree ducks. Rosey catches Hurricane in mid air and throws him over to Dupree, who catches him as well. Rosey this time runs towards Dupree and nails him with a big boot, sending Hurricane on top of him for a cover 1...2...kick out! Rosey throws Chavo to the outside of the ring and follows him there to give him a good beating, while The Hurricane picks Dupree up and sets him up for a deadly finisher. EYE OF THE HURRICANE! He hooks the far leg 1...2...3! Hurricane and Rosey have won the match, but while Hurricane is getting ready to grab his tag team title belt, Chavo Guerrero runs to him and nails him with it right over the head! Rosey was already on the ground from a shot to the head with the tag belts as well. Chavo then stares at Hurricane and throws the belt on top of him, leaving the scene with Rene Dupree up the entrance ramp.

SINGLES MATCH

Chris Masters vs. Mark Jindrak

Chris Masters came out challenging anyone in the back who has the guts to step up to the plate, and one of the newest superstars from smackdown, the very talented and full of potential, Mark Jindrak, made his way out to the ring. He got into the squared circle and began flexing his muscles in a shown with Chris Masters, who wanted no piece of it and went right to work on the reflection of perfection. He DESTROYED him through three quarters of the match, until Jindrak began getting in some offense with a few hard punches and a clotheline that sent Masters down. Jindrak went for another clotheline then, but all of a sudden, Chris Masters ducks it and steps behind Jindrak, grabbing his arms into the Masterlock. He begins pulling and shaking Jindrak around until he forces him to pass out and wins the match easily.

Carlito's Cabbana is ready to air next. Carlito is sitting in the ring, as he announces that his guest this week would be none other than the wwe champion, John Cena. Cena comes out to a roaring cheer from the crowd and steps right inside the ring. Carlito taunts him a bit and tells him how he'll be the one to win the battle royal tonight to face him at Summerslam for his wwe title. Cena says it's all good with him, 'cause there's not a man in that match that he can't or hasen't already beat. Then, all of a sudden, Gene Snitsky shows up out of nowhere and slides into the ring. Cena is oblivious to this. Snitsky gives him a big boot, sending him flying out of the chair, as Carlito begins removing his set quickly while the big man begins his beat down on Cena. Snitsky goes over to the outside and grabs a steel chair, but John Cena is right behind him. Cena nails him over the head with a pair of brass knuckles and throws him into the ring. He gets in the ring and grabs Snitsky up for an FU, but Eric Bischoff makes his way out to the entrance ramp. Bischoff announces that if Cena wants to give Snitsky an FU so badly, he should do it in a match, and the bells ring.

Kurt Angle is seen backstage with Maria. She asks him about the main event battle royal tonight, and he eloquently states that his motives for being in this match are very similar to Shelton Benjamin's. He too wants to eliminate the man that made his life a living hell, while he was in the hospital! He mentions how Shelton and Charlie Haas never even thought about calling him. Haas already got what he deserved on smackdown, now Angle's on raw and ready to defeat the other man he has been seeking, Shelton Benjamin. He states that, though he wants to eliminate Shelton, he's not foolish enough to say he doesn't care about winning the match. What seperates the boys from the men is the way they thrive to be the best, and Shelton's comment excommunicates him from ever being a world title contender.

10 MAN BATTLE ROYAL

Edge vs. Kane vs. Kurt Angle vs. Shelton Benjamin vs. Triple H vs. RVD vs. Chris Jericho vs. Carlito Caribbean Cool vs. Shawn Michaels vs. Big Show

This match began in total chaos. Kurt Angle and Shelton Benjamin went right at each other from the get-go. Carlito, Chris Jericho and Edge all tried to get The Big Show out of this match, but he and Kane came to some sort of alliance that destroyed the rest of the competition. They chokeslammed each and every competitor in the match and were the only two men left standing. Big Show is foolish enough to stand by the ropes and scream as the fans cheer, but Kane astutely comes running from behind and throws him right out of the ring with a clotheline.

ELIMINATION #1 - THE BIG SHOW

Now Kane's the only man left standing. He grabs Shelton up from the ground with one hand, and brings him near the ropes. He grabs him for a chokeslam and looks to throw him out, but Kurt Angle gives Kane a low blow and SAVES Shelton Benjamin from elimination. Kane is bending over in pain, and Angle tries to take advantage and throw him over the top rope, but apparently is unable to. Angle then runs towards Kane and tries to hit him with a cotheline, but gets catapulted onto the outside, landing on the apron. Kane is re-grouping for a few seconds, before he's going to try and eliminate Angle, but all of a sudden Shelton Benjamin runs towards the ropes and superkicks Kurt Angle right out of the match! Kurt Angle is furious on the outside that he's been eliminated by Shelton. Benjamin stares at him from the ring laughing and waving as he walks to the back in anger.

ELIMINATION #2 - KURT ANGLE

Shawn Michaels and Chris Jericho are going at it as well now, Carlito and Triple H are being astute and resting in seperate corners. Michaels has gotten to the point where he almost has Jericho out of the match, but as he throws him out by the hair, Jericho does his trademark hanging on the ropes and coming back into the ring manover, which makes Michaels furious, as he sees that as a mockary to him. Michaels runs towards Jericho in anger, not thinking about anything else, and Jericho uses his smarts to bend over and catapult Michaels right out of the ring. Michaels hangs on to the ropes though, much like Jericho did earlier. Jericho runs to the opposite ropes and gives Michaels a baseball slide though, making him fall out and getting eliminated.

ELIMINATION #3 - SHAWN MICHAELS

Kane is now fighting Shelton Benjamin in the corner, as he grabs him up for the chokeslam once again. He looks to throw him over the top rope, but Shelton lands on the apron and Kane begins punching him over the head, trying to make him fall off. Shelton suddenly pulls his head down, making his neck bounce off against the ropes and making Kane groggy for a few seconds. Jericho runs right over to him and gives him a flying enzuiguiri, which sends Kane towards the ropes and half way out. Jericho runs right over and dropkicks him straight out of the ring.

ELIMINATION #4 - KANE

RVD, Edge, Triple H, and Carlito have been pretty quiet during this match, but that was about to change. Jericho is excited about all the eliminations, as he screams "I'M THE KING OF THE WORLD", but as he turns around, he gets speared by Edge who makes his first presence felt in the match. Van Dam now spin kicks Edge back into the corner where he was hiding, and Edge takes a seat in his usual spot. Triple H gets right up and kicks RVD in the gut, nailing a pedigree which sends him down to the mat. Now Shelton Benjamin is back into the ring, and he gives Triple H a superkick, which sends him back down near the bottom rope. Carlito runs over to the middle of the ring and gives Shelton Benjamin a low blow, then knocking him out with a DDT and laughing to the crowd while showing off his stuff. Edge was playing possum though, he comes running out of nowhere and grabs Carlito by his hair and his tights, throwing him right over the top rope and to the outside, laughing!

ELIMINATION #5 - CARLITO CARIBBEAN COOL

RVD is still in pain from the Pedigree he suffered, and Edge takes advantage of that as well. All he does is pick Van Dam up and same technique as earlier, he grabs him by his hair and his tights and throws him over the top rope as well, just like he did to Carlito.

ELIMINATION #6 - ROB VAN DAM

It's down to four, Triple H, Edge, Shelton Benjamin and Chris Jericho. Triple H gets right up and begins going at it with Edge, while Shelton and Jericho are fighting in the other corner. Jericho somehow flips Benjamin over and locks in the Walls of Jericho, and even though Shelton taps, it makes no difference in a match like this. Jericho refuses to release the hold, and Shelton tries to grab on to the bottom rope, forgetting that the referee cannot break the hold. Triple H notices the situation and runs right over, grabbing Jericho by the hair and tights and catapulting him right to the outside! He stands by the ropes and taunts Chris Jericho.

ELIMINATION #7 - CHRIS JERICHO

Triple H is still taunting Jericho who's been eliminated. He laughs and laughs, until Edge comes running from behind and tries to throw Triple H out of the ring, but The Game miraculously hangs on to the turnbuckle and lands on the apron. Edge runs to the ropes and tries to Spear Triple H out of the ring, but all of a sudden Shelton Benjamin runs right over and superkicks Edge in the middle of his Spear attempt, saving Triple H from a sure elimination! The Game makes his way back in the ring and heads to a turnbuckle to rest a litte. Edge is almost out of the ring now. He saves himself though by nailing Shelton with a low blow. Triple H runs right over to the scene and clothelines both men right out of the ring! BUT NO! Shelton Benjamin barely hangs on!

ELIMINATION #8 - EDGE

Triple H tries to get Shelton's hands off the top rope, but Shelton does a Jericho-like flip and kicks Triple H right in the face from the outside, getting right back into the ring. Triple H runs towards Shelton but gets hit in the gut by a knee smash, and Shelton hits Triple H's head against the turnbuckle. Benjamin is ready to take Triple H out of the picture. He grabs him by the hair and tries to throw him out, but Triple H hangs right on to the top rope and won't let go. He's slowly slipping out of the way, and the fans are feeling it, the crowd is going wild for Shelton, until all of a sudden, Kurt Angle is seen jumping over the fan railing and sliding into the ring with a sledge hammer! He runs right over to the scene and nails Benjamin right over the head with the sledge hammer, then dropping it right in the ring! Benjamin is on the ground, and Triple H is slowly turning over. He glances at Kurt and smiles, before he picks Shelton up from the ground and throws him right over the top rope with absolutely no problem! Triple H is going to Summerslam to face John Cena, but only because of a damn SCREWJOB!

SMACKDOWN PREVIEW - August 4th, 2005

- Who will Batista's next challenger for the world heavyweight championship be? Smackdown GM, Theodore Long, has a blockbuster main event for Summerslam to announce on thursday night.  Meanwhile, the monster goes one on one with the man who claimed "should've beat him on raw" Muhammad Hassan in a one-on-one main event that might put Hassan at the top of the list of contenders.

- MNM have been tearing up smackdown since the moment of their debut.  This thursday night, they have the same task as Rosey and The Hurricane did on raw.  They are to defend their tag team title belts against a mixture of newcomers from the raw brand.  The tag team still has not been announced, who will the mystery team be?

- Juventud will also be in action this week against one of the cruiserweight division's pioneers, Rey Mysterio.  The Mexicools are sure to be at ringside with Juvi on thursday night.  How will he fair against fellow luchadore, Rey Rey?

- Also, Christian and Tyson Tomko are out to prove that they are the new generation of smackdown, and the future of the company.  Can they have a successful tag team debut as they take on Hardcore Holly and Charlie Haas?

I just started a game last night like this...with the new draft...I'm not letting myself hire or fire anyone for a few months tho..just to play it like WWE.

Please keep up with this diary, I would start one of my own but regular updates would be a bit difficult to do.

Shall look forward to reading on.

Theodore Long came out to start the show. He says that although the draft is technically over, there's one last trade he and Eric Bischoff have agreed to make. Doug Basham would join his partner Danny on raw, while Smackdown gets one of the top cruiserweights in the indy circuit that there has been for a while. He announces that the next match, Juventud versus Rey Mysterio would now be a triple threat match between Juventud, Rey Mysterio.. AND KID KASH!

OVERALL RATING: 73%

TRIPLE THREAT MATCH

Kid Kash vs. Juventud vs. Rey Mysterio

A great fast paced matchup between three of the top cruiserweights in the company. Juventud and Mysterio went at it early on, as Kid Kash got taken out by an early 619 and sat at the bottom of the turnbuckle, watching his opponents battle it out. Juvi connects with a backdrop and taunts Rey Mysterio. He waits for him to get up and then nails him right over the head with a superkick and covers 1...2...Kid Kash breaks the count. Kash now hammers Juvi over the back with some stiff kicks and picks him up by the hair, irish whipping him across the ring and dropping him to the mat with a belly to belly suplex. Kash then climbs up to the top turnbuckle and waits for Juvi and Rey to both get up, trying to nail them both with a cross body, but he gets caught in mid air by his opponents, who then catapult him straight over the top rope! Kid Kash is sent flying next to the fan railing, as Mysterio kicks Juventud in the gut and then nails him with a hurricanrana, that sends Juventud with his head on the second rope! Rey screams and runs to the opposite ropes, executing a perfect 619! Juvi is slowly getting up in the middle of the ring now, and Rey is about to jump off for the West Coast Pop, but all of a sudden, Kid Kash pulls him right down by his leg and makes him hit his head on the apron. Kash runs right back into the ring and gives Juventud the Money Maker, making the cover 1...2...3!

TAG TEAM MATCH

Christian and Tyson Tomko vs. Charlie Haas and Hardcore Holly

This was probably the easiest match on smackdown. Tyson Tomko took control early on, destroying both Hardcore Holly and Charlie Haas, whoever was the legal man and whatever time. Christian was then tagged in about two minutes into the match, and he begins brawling with Hardcore Holly for a few seconds. He nails him down with a reverse DDT, then elbows Haas off the apron and grabs Holly for the unprettier, which he hits to perfection to get the three count in an easy matchup.

Muhammad Hassan is backstage talking to Sharmell Sullivan about how he's going to beat the world heavyweight champion tonight. He tells her that her man, Booker T, couldn't even beat JBL when he was the champion, and he got two chances to do it. Hassan says that he'll be the first man on smackdown to put Batista down and pin him for the three count, and that maybe she should look for a better man than her current one. Sharmell backs off, but Hassan continues his advances, until Booker T shows up. Booker defends his wife and gets in Hassan's face, telling him that he better get goin' before he gets an early ass whoopin' tonight.

TAG TEAM TITLE MATCH

MNM vs. BWO's Hollywood Nova and Stevie Richards

The fans went wild for the reunion of BWO on smackdown, and MNM surely weren't liking it. Nova and Richards dominated most of this matchup, showing that their teamwork surely wasen't rusty like most people thought. Joey Mercury and Johnny Nitro were in definite need of help now, as they tried to fight back but were unable to. Melina sees that her men are struggling and grabs a steel chair, running into the ring and nailing Richards right over the back with it! Richards turns around and feels nothing, the referee calls for the DQ, but now Mercury and Nitro are double teaming the two BWO members. All of a sudden, the fans begin screaming because it's THE BLUE MEANIE! BWO is now fully back in place. Meanie runs to the ring and begins a beat down on Nitro and Mercury. Richards and Nova get back up, and they throw the tag team champions and their manager right out of the ring. The fans begin chanting "EEE CEE DUB! UNITED STATES TITLE MATCH

Orlando Jordan vs. Chris Benoit

This was a last minute match, due to JBL's no show at the smackdown tapings. Orlando Jordan defended his US title against Chris Benoit in a very well done fast paced matchup. Orlando took advantage for most of the match with some hard right hands and some stiff kicks, using his size and length to take advantage of the shorter Benoit. The Rabid Wolvering turned things around mid match, and hit a triple german suplex on Orlando Jordan, setting him up for the finish. He climbs up to the top rope and jumps off, nailing Orlando with the flying headbutt and getting on top of him for the cover 1...2...Eddie Guerrero suddenly comes running from underneath the ring, and pulls Orlando's foot on the bottom rope, making the referee stop the count. Benoit's angry. He complains to Charles Robinson, but all of a sudden, Orlando Jordan comes sneaking up behind him and gets a school boy pin for the 1...2...3! Orlando retains! Benoit gets right back up and begins attacking OJ. He kicks him in the gut in the corner for a few seconds, until Eddie comes running right into the ring with the US title belt and nails Benoit right over the head with it! Batista vs. Muhammad Hassan w/ Daivari

Hassan and Batista locked up to start the match, engaging in some great one on one action. No man held a clear advantage for the first half of the bout, only Batista nailed Hassan with a spinebuster which almost got the pin. Daivari's chanting on his client from the outside, and Hassan is doing a wonderful job against the world heavyweight champion. He takes Batista down with a DDT and taunts the crowd, before running to the ropes and nailing a leg drop, which gets a close two count. He then picks Batista up by his head, but the monster unleashes his power. He suddenly grabs Hassan up by the neck and gets him up in the air, throwing him down with a running powerslam that could put any man on a wheelchair and shakes the ring incredibly! He then grabs Hassan back up and puts his head between his legs, getting him up and dropping him down with a Sit-Out Powerbomb! All of a sudden, Randy Orton comes running down to the ring with a sledge hammer. He enters the ring and Batista notices. Batista grabs him by the neck as well and is getting ready to get him up for that running powerslam, but Daivari grabs the sledge hammer and nails Batista on the right shin, knocking him down. Now Orton gets the monster back up on his feet and knocks him down with an RKO! He smiles while Daivari and Hassan beat Batista down with a series of kicks and then a vicious Camel Clutch applied by Hassan. Hassan, Daivari and Orton are celebrating and taking their attention off of Batista. The monster miraculously stands right back up and stares at the three of them. He clothelines Hassan and Daivari down and out on the mat, then throwing them to the outside. He then kicks Orton in the gut and gives him the Sit-Out Powerbomb as well! JBL's no show; Christy Hemme in rehab

JBL's no show at this tuesday's smackdown tapings has been associated with the signing of The Blue Meanie to the brand as a reunion of the Blue World Order.  JBL was scheduled to team up with Orlando Jordan to take on Chris Benoit and Heidenreich, but Orlando and Benoit locked up in a singles match instead.  The punishment for his behavior is still undecided, but tune in for more information as we get it.

Christy Hemme has publically announced that she has entered rehab to cure the cocaine habit she picked up when she first started working for the wwe.  As we all know, Vince Mcmahon doesn't condone of such behavior in his company, so Christy's future with the wwe may be in jeopardy.

Before I post the raw results, I have a request for whoever reads this or cares :P. Should I write my scenes out the way I have been? Or actually have the characters talking during them, and not in summary mode.

example:

Val Venis walked to the ring and said he's the ladies man.

Val Venis strolls down the entrance ramp and grabs a microphone entering the ring.

Val Venis: I am the ladies man.

Dude, so far, I'm liking the format. Wish I could do graphics like the ones you've got, BTW. Either way, do whatever feels comfortable. For now, it works. Heck, it'll probably work for a long time. After all, many Internet reviewers do it, and nobody complains.

Personally, I like how you summarize what you feel should be summarized, and go into a bit more detail about what you think deserves to be detailed. So far, the stories are good, and it's true to the WWE, with a bit of a variance. I like that.

Kurt Angle cut an interview with Todd Grisham about Shelton Benjamin, announcing that he'll be facing him at summerslam in a one on one match that'll surely steal the show, but one thing that won't be stolen by Shelton, is another victory. He says the thing that makes him so angry is that Shelton was able to cheat last week in the battle royal to take him out, but that he'll NEVER allow Benjamin to get a win over him again.

Val Venis is caught backstage by Maria Kannelis. She asks him why he'd attack Miss Jackie and Trish Stratus like that, and he says that nobody should ever refer to him as "Val Venis" anymore, he's done with that lifestyle, his name is Sean Morley. He also says that women cause all problems, and if she didn't stop bothering him soon enough, she'd have the same fate as Trish and Jackie.

SINGLES MATCH

Kane vs. Chris Jericho

This was a well faught matchup between two of the elite on raw. Kane held the advantage early on nailing Jericho with a big boot, then throwing him down for a close two count with a sidewalk slam. Jericho then reversed the momentum with a few dropkicks right to the chin of the monster that actually sent him flying to the ground. Jericho saw the opening and ran to the ropes, nailing a Lionsault, but only getting a close two count. He then got up on the top rope and waited for Kane to get up as well. He jumps right off and tries to hit Kane with a missile dropkick, but Kane ducks and Y2J ends up hitting Earl Hebner instead! Now Jericho's worried, Kane gets up behind him and sets him up for the chokeslam. Jericho turns around and gets grabbed around the neck by Kane's massive hand. Y2J gets out of the predicament with a low blow though. All of a sudden, Shawn Michaels is seen running down the isle. He slides in the ring and waits for Jericho to turn around, and as he does, he nails him right over the head with a SWEET CHIN MUSIC that will certainly put the lights out. Kane is slowly crawling over to his opponent and putting arn arm over him as Earl Hebner begins to regain consciousness. He starts the count 1....2....3! Kane has won it! Kane and Michaels are in the ring celebrating together for defeating the man that ruined their dreams at the world championship last week, then out of nowhere comes running out Edge, who slides into the ring and wastes no time to spear his former nemesis, Kane, and give Shawn Michaels the Edgecution. Edge stands tall as Jericho stands up as well, while Kane and Michaels have been destroyed.
