As with many here, Metallica is my alltime favorite band, and I love all their songs and albums equally... so I'll just list what I am currently listening to more of.

Right now, I am listening to ...And Justice For All more then any other Metallica CD I own. But, it's not my favorite. I prefer Kill'Em All and Master of Puppets.

Some of their covers on the Garage Inc album are brilliant.

I love Turn the Page, which is a great cover of the Bob Seger song. Whisky in the Ja-AH (as James sings it) is also a great cover.

However I think my fav Metallica songs are some of the earlier ones. I absolutly love Seek and Destroy, Master of Puppets, Battery, Welcome Home (Sanitarium) and One.

However my funeral song is actually gonna be Nothing Else Matters off the black album. Its a great ballard and my fav of this style.

But has anyone seen or heard Apocalyptica (I think thats the spelling). They do Metallica covers on cello and they really are good imo. Like S&M but without the vocals.

My friend Stephen rates St. Anger as far and away their best album. I weep for humanity.

Metallica is my favorite band. St Anger was ok, Sweet Amber and Unnamed Feeling were the best songs in the album for me.

I think the Black album is overated as shit, but that is just me. And of course it might be because I have heard all those songs millions of times, but I still feel it is overated.

I don't care for too much after Load. Load friggin owns.
