Also, I'm pretty sure all of Vanessa Carlton's songs are piano. "A Thousand Miles" is pretty good, but I haven't heard much else by her.

I'd forgotten about The Dresden Dolls. Only a piano and drums in the songs, along with vocals. Well worth checking out. Try 'The Perfect Fit', 'Girl Anachronism' and 'Jeep Song'.

They've already been mentioned, but Billy Joel and Five for Fighting. Billy is THE man when it comes to piano songs and even those minus the famous white keys are tremendous, "We Didn't Start The Fire" being my favourite non-piano song, any piano songs I recomend highly too.

Five for Fighting, "100 Years" and "Superman" are bloody tremendous tracks, they both rate highly on my Jukebox playlist.

And if you like Dresden Dolls (which you should), check out The Tiger Lilies. They're a little more quirky and less accessible, definitely a love or hate deal.
