Smackdown Results

Smackdown came from the US Bank Arena in Cincinnati, Ohio and what a night of shocks and surprises it was. Early in the show Stephanie McMahon, the Smackdown General Manager, booked a huge tag team main event that would see friends Brock Lesnar and WWE World Champion Kurt Angle take on the World's Greatest Tag Team for the WWE Tag Team Titles! 93%

Later on in the evening Paul Heyman unveiled Haas & Benjamin as his new clients. He promised to make them the most dominant tag team in the history of the WWE! 74%

The main event itself was an awesome match with Angle and Lesnar seemingly having the titles won until, in a shocking turn on his 'friend,' Lesnar hit the F5 on Angle allowing Benjamin to pin him and retain the titles. If that wasn't enough, in a Heyman orchestrated attack, Lesnar and the World's Greatest Tag Team continued to assault Angle until he was busted open! 88%

In another absolute blockbuster shock the "Phenomenal" AJ Styles debuted when he came out and interrupted the newly crowned US Champion, Eddie Guerrero. Guerrero was so angry with this apparent nobody interrupting his time he accepted AJ's challenge for a US Title match that night on Smackdown! Tazz speculated that it wasn't a wise move on Guerrero's part as he didn't know anything about Styles and Guerrero let his Latino Heat get the better of him. 88%

Tazz was right. In an early MOTYC, Styles out manoeuvred Guerrero at every point with his amazing array of offence. Styles would have won the title if it hadn't of been for Chavo Guerrero who ran in and attacked AJ giving the referee no option but to disqualify Eddie. With Chavo now re-aligned with Eddie they started to put the boots to AJ. AJ was still fired up though and he fought both men off and as Eddie decided to bail, Chavo was left to receive a Styles Clash. It is safe to say Eddie got off lightly. 96%

Elsewhere on Smackdown A-Train, Big Show and Rhyno defeated Undertaker and the A.P.A. John Cena's interference allowed Big Show to pin Undertaker. 68%

After the match Funaki was able to catch up with Cena and ask him why he just attacked Undertaker. Cena had these words for the Deadman:

"Cena ain’t got no respect

Ever since my debut

I nearly beat Angle

I got nine tenths past two

Undertaker’s yard? No! No!

His stay is overdue

Cena’s after respect

So I’m gonna beat it out of you!" 86%

Cole and Tazz speculated that Undertaker wouldn't need goading into a fight and if Cena did want a piece of the Deadman he would be more than happy to offer him the chance to get some.

Paul London made an impressive Smackdown debut beating Shannon Moore and Spanky in a triple threat match. Tazz was quick to praise the young blue chipper saying that he could be next in line for a shot at the WWE Cruiserweight Title. 67%

Chris Benoit made light work of Jamie Noble. 70%

The intensity of the show was broken down a little as Torrie Wilson took on Nidia in a Bra and Panties match. Torrie won the match but ended up stripping anyway much to the delight of the fans in Cincinnati. 57%

Attendance - 7010

WWE.COM SMACKDOWN EXCLUSIVE

Michael Cole interviews Eddie Guerrero

Cole: This past Thursday you were on the verge...

Eddie: Let me stop you right there essay! I know what your gonna say and Latino Heat doesn't like it! I'll admit that I was caught a little off guard by Aidan Piles, Mikey.

Cole: I think he's called AJ Styles Edd...

Eddie: It doesn't matter what his name is because Eddie Guerrero had no time to prepare for that contest and if anything it shows just what a fighting champion I really am. You seem to forget Mikey that I just came off the back of winning a gruelling United States Title tournament and you have the nerve to tell me I was on the verge of losing! All that happened was some punk with a lot of adrenaline got a few lucky shots in. That's all it was, luck essay.

Cole: So seeing as your a fighting champion when are you going to prove that this was luck. Are you going to take on AJ again next week on Smackdown? I'm sure the fans would love to see another awesome contest between you two again.

Eddie: Look essay, this is what's going to happen, Stephanie has signed a match between Aidan and my nephew, Chavito, to take place next week on Smackdown. Once Chavo beats the crap out of him he can go back to the trailer park where he was brought up.

Cole: Well what if Chavo loses? What will you do then?

Eddie: It's not going to happen! This interview is over, I got better things to do than listen to you spew garbage out your mouth essay!

Cole: Well thanks for you time Eddie.

WWE Major News

Several big names have been released by the WWE in a major shake up. Kevin Nash who recently challenged for the World Heavyweight Title is probably the biggest name to go.

IPB Image

Former WCW World Champion Scott Steiner has also parted ways with the company. Steiner had a very disappointing run in the WWE and was involved in two horrible World Heavyweight Title matches with Triple H at the start of the year.

IPB Image

Zach Gowen has also gone from the company. The one legged wrestler who recently lost to Vince McMahon on PPV was said to be disappointed but understanding towards the decision.

IPB Image

Other workers to be given the chop include Smackdown veteran Bill DeMott, Rikishi, giant rookie Nathan Jones, Mark Henry, long standing WWE competitor Boss Man, Jacqueline and the controversial Sable.

The WWE has also been doing some hiring over the past week. AJ Styles who has already debuted on Smackdown to rave reviews was the biggest name picked up by the WWE. The only Triple Crown winner in NWATNA is said to be delighted at being pushed right into a major title feud with Eddie Guerrero. It is also a big blow to NWATNA as Styles was their NWA Heavyweight Champion and their poster boy.

IPB Image

It has also been revealed that former NWA X Division Champion and ECW Television Champion Kid Kash has signed a two year deal with the WWE. It is expected he will go to Smackdown and challenge for the WWE Cruiserweight Title.

IPB Image

Talented indy competitors CM Punk and Danny Maff have also been signed but it is unclear as to whether they will go straight to the full roster or spend a period in development.

WWE Sunday Night Heat Preview

The decision has been made that Sunday Night Heat will be used by the brand who has an upcoming PPV. So most of the airtime for this week and for the next few weeks will be given to Raw who have the re-instated Fully Loaded PPV Event coming up on the 27th of July.

On this Sunday's edition the World Tag Team Champions La Resistance will defend against the most successful tag team in wrestling the Dudley Boyz! Can the Dudleys add another reign to their honours list?

In mixed tag action Val Venis will team with the beautiful Trish Stratus as they take on Stevie Richards and the crazy Victoria!

Hurricane Helms will also be on Heat when he competes against the bizarre Rico!

Tommy Dreamer will also be in action.

In the main event cocky Evolution member Randy Orton will hope to continue his rise towards greatness when he goes one on one with the freaky Goldust!

WWE Heat Results

In a busy night of action on Heat Randy Orton beat Goldust in the main event to continue his impressive streak. 78%

Orton's win was somewhat tainted however as moments before the match Batista and Orton burst into Goldust's dressing room and viciously assaulted him. The result of the attack showed considerably, with Goldust even struggling to make it to the ring. Surely the actions of Evolution must be stopped before they get completely out of hand. 77%

One person who could halt Evolution's dominance is Al Snow, who was named at the top of the program as the General Manager of Heat for his loyal service to the WWE and his popularity with the fans. 81%

Elsewhere on Heat the Dudley Boyz defeated La Resistance but only by count out which means that the titles stay with La Resistance. The Dudley's were about to deliver the 3D on Grenier but as he hit the ropes Dupree pulled him out the ring and they walked off down the ramp much to the anger of the Dudleys and the fans. Surely the Dudleys will get another chance to claim the gold in the near future. 72%

Stevie Richards and Victoria insulted Val Venis and Trish Stratus before they were set to lock horns. Stevie stated that Val's whole act was a charade that may have been funny five years ago but it was just embarrassing now. 66%

The insults didn't seem to affect Val and Trish who dominated the match with both landing signature offence. Val hit the Money Shot on Stevie for the three count. The celebrations were short lived though as after the match Rodney Mack and Jazz hit the ring and blindsided Val and Trish, beating them to the mat. 69%

Hurricane defeated Rico in a fun little match. Both men showing the comic sides of their characters in some really wacky moments including Hurricane offering the handshake at the start of the match only for Rico to take it and kiss it. In the end the Hurricane showed the ruthless edge using the Shining Wizard to pick up the three count. 74%

In a huge shock Tommy Dreamer was absolutely destroyed by unknown talent Ron Waterman. Waterman who is a giant of a man used some devastating power moves to finish Dreamer off in rapid time. Waterman continued to show his dominance after the match where he hit Dreamer with several more vicious moves. Who is this huge menace Waterman? Hopefully we can get more information on him in the next few days. 65%

WWE Monday Night Raw Preview

After all the shocks and surprises on Smackdown what can we expect from Monday Night Raw which comes from the Germain Arena in Fort Myers, Florida. Two titles will definitely be on the line as WWE Intercontinental Champion Booker T squares off with the monster of Evolution, Batista. Ones thing for sure, Booker will have to concentrate on more than just Batista as Flair, Orton or even Triple H are likely to interfere to help their running buddy.

The World Tag Team Titles are also on the line. Heat’s new GM Al Snow recommended that the Dudley’s deserve another shot after beating La Resistance by count out on Sunday’s program. Will Grenier and Dupree be able to avoid the deadly 3D and retain the gold?

Kane has been on a rampage ever since he was unmasked a few weeks ago on Raw. Will he be able to continue his dominant streak going as he takes on one time friend and tag partner Rob Van Dam?

Also, Val Venis has accepted Rodney Mack’s invite to take the White Boy Challenge. Mack and Jazz attacked Val and Trish, who had just beat Stevie Richards and Victoria, post match on Heat. Val will look for some kind of revenge tonight on Raw.

Finally, in what should be a hugely entertaining segment, The Rock is a guest on Chris Jericho's Highlight Reel. So don't miss all the intense Monday Night Raw action on Spike TV!

WWE Raw Results

Raw is Evolution! It might as well be as Evolution reigned supreme in Fort Myers. Evolution’s night began well when Batista became the new WWE Intercontinental Champion when he beat Booker T and Christian in a triple threat match. Booker T looked to have the title retained when he hit the Axe Kick on Christian, but Ric Flair distracted the referee long enough to allow Batista to nail Booker on the back of the head with the title belt and win his first title within the company. 73%

Christian who was not scheduled to be involved in the match but came out and moaned about not being given any opportunities. He said that he was a major star that was under appreciated by WWE fans and management alike. This prompted Eric Bischoff to come out and add him to the Intercontinental Title match but Christian, like on so many other occasions was unable to take the opportunity and recapture the title that was once his. 84%

The night got even better for Evolution when Randy Orton laid out The Rock when The Great One was a guest on Chris Jericho’s Highlight Reel. As The Rock was about to deliver his signature catchphrase Orton came from nowhere and delivered the RKO to an unsuspecting Rock. Orton was clearly very pleased with himself as he stood atop the ramp and smiled leaving a dazed Rock clawing at the ropes looking on. 92%

This led to Co-GMs Eric Bischoff and Steve Austin booking a three on two handicap main event which would see World Heavyweight Champion Triple H, Randy Orton and Chris Jericho team up to face The Rock and Goldberg. Austin and Bischoff also argued about what to do with another force on a destructive streak, Kane! 79%

At the start of the program Kane brutally assaulted his former tag partner Hurricane, sending him through a glass window to finish the assault! Hurricane was quickly taken to hospital as Kane laughed while the ambulance drove away. 88%

Kane later took on another former tag partner in Rob Van Dam. In a wild match Van Dam used all his speed and agility to try and avoid Kane’s devastating power offence. Kane got frustrated and hit Van Dam with a heinous steel chair shot in full view of referee Mike Chioda who quickly rung the bell for the DQ. Kane was enraged by this and lashed out, hitting Chioda with three choke slams. Van Dam was able to roll out the ring and avoid any more punishment. Someone needs to stop Kane before he does some real damage! 82%

In another more popular title change the Dudley Boyz once again captured the World Tag Team Titles by beating La Resistance. I’m sure La Resistance will request a rematch in the near future. 71%

Another team that may feel they deserve a chance at the winning the gold is the newly formed partnership between Rodney Mack and the returning D’Lo Brown. Mack took on Val Venis on Raw in a “While Boy Challenge” match. Mack won the match but a huge assist will go to D’Lo who ran in and delivered a Sky High to Venis while Mack’s manager, Theodore Long distracted the referee. I guarantee that Long has something to do with bringing Mack and Brown together. 67%

Speaking of managers a video package played for the gorgeous Stacy Kiebler. The clientless beauty is apparently “back on the prowl.” I’m sure she will receive dozens of applications from workers requiring her services! 82%

One manager who does have clients is Evolution’s legend Ric Flair. Who after already helping stable mate Batista pick up the biggest win of his career helped another associate, Randy Orton pick up his biggest victory. Orton who had already hit The Rock with one RKO earlier in the night managed to catch him with another as Orton, Triple H and Chris Jericho beat The Rock and Goldberg in the main event. It seemed The Rock had Orton beat but as he ran to the ropes to deliver the People’s Elbow Flair grabbed The Rock’s leg and clung on. This gave Orton time to recover and as The Rock turned round Orton was there to pounce. 82%

It was clearly one of the best nights in Evolution’s history and begs the question, who can halt their take over of Raw?

+ Plus & Minus - The Critical Eye on the WWE

+ Plus +

AJ Styles - Wow! What a debut! Well booked and just the right opposition to make him look like the star he is.

Randy Orton - He's on a roll, two wins in two days. A pinfall victory over The Rock and a definate future WWE World Champion.

Kane - His segments are coming off really well on TV. Seems to have got over the farce of the unmasking and had a really solid match with the spotty RVD on Raw.

World's Greatest Tag Team - Natural performers in the ring. Great win on Smackdown to continue their push to stardom.

- Minus -

Parts of Smackdown - The six man between Undertaker, Bradshaw, Simmons, A-Train, Big Show and Rhyno was just plain bad! Will Undertaker do a good job of making Cena look credible? I doubt it. Benoit against Noble didn't come off well either. Benoit needs to be fighting for the World Title not squashing Cruiserweights. At least three of the segments were complete filler.

Heyman - Haven't we seen him manage Lesnar before?

Raw Heavyweight Title picture - Goldberg vs Triple H seems like the only way to go. Will probably be slightly better than Triple H vs Steiner but that's not saying much. Every other contender has been buried by Triple H apart from The Rock but we've seen that a million times already.

WWE Smackdown Preview

Last week on Smackdown Brock Lesnar shocked wrestling fans everywhere and turned on his supposed friend and WWE World Champion Kurt Angle. It is unclear whether Lesnar is realigned with his former manager Paul Heyman, hopefully this week’s Smackdown will shed some light on these issues.

If Kurt Angle is in the building you can be sure that he will be hunting for Lesnar because as we know, no one can get more vicious than the Olympic Hero when they have to.

Last week Paul Heyman claimed that he would make the WWE Tag Team Champions Haas & Benjamin, otherwise known as the World’s Greatest Tag Team, the most dominant tag team in the history of wrestling. On Smackdown this statement will be tested because Stephanie McMahon has booked the champs against unidentified opposition. Stephanie stated on the Smackdown web page that their opponents were former WWE Tag Team Champions. So expect the World’s Greatest Tag Team to be pushed to the limit this week.

Another big surprise last week was the debut of the “Phenomenal” AJ Styles when he took on Eddie Guerrero for the WWE United States Title in an absolute classic. AJ should be United States Champion but Eddie held on to the belt thanks to his nephew Chavo who attacked AJ and caused the match to end in a DQ win for the debutant. Eddie said that AJ was “lucky” and to prove it AJ will take on Chavo this week in a match that could be make or break for the “Phenomenal One.” If AJ wins though surely Eddie will have to put the gold on the line again.

One man who proved himself along time ago is Undertaker who has seen many a young talent come and go from the industry. Another young upstart, John Cena, is trying to make it big by using the legacy of the Dead Man. Cena stepped into Taker’s yard last week and cost him a six-man tag match loss at the hands of the Big Show. Undertaker will be on Smackdown, looking for the gutsy Cena who has called him out.

After steamrolling his way past Jamie Noble last week, Chris Benoit will try and get revenge on the man that cost him the WWE United States Title, Rhyno. They will lock horns in a one on one match.

Rey Mysterio will also be appearing on Thursday and has been told to prepare for a defence of his WWE Cruiserweight. An opponent is yet to be named but I guarantee that Rey Rey will be prepared and it will be a brilliant match.

So with two title matches and Kurt Angle and Undertaker on the hunt, you would be an idiot to miss Smackdown this Thursday night on UPN!

WWE Smackdown Results

Over intense Kurt Angle once again was left face down in a pool of his own blood as Smackdown went off the air last night. Angle, who was looking for revenge from last week’s attack and betrayal headed out to the ring at the start of Smackdown. He called Lesnar out and told him if he wanted a fight, be it for the WWE World Title or not, to get down to ring and they would do it right there. Angle paced around in the ring but Lesnar failed to show. Angle said if Lesnar wouldn’t come to him he would spend the night hunting for Lesnar. He promised that if he didn’t find him he would return to the ring at the end of the night and call him out again. Angle marched up the entrance ramp and into the backstage area. 80%

Halfway through Smackdown footage was shown of Angle walking through the locker room asking anyone he saw if they had seen Lesnar in the building. However the answers were fruitless and Angle continued his hunt getting more and more intense and frustrated as he continued to search. 88%

With Angle not being able to find Lesnar he delivered on his promise to return to the ring and call his enemy out again. This time Lesnar did show, but Angle never saw him. Lesnar came through the crowd with a steel chair already in hand and walloped Angle in the back of the head, busting him open in the process. This wasn’t enough for Lesnar; he dragged Angle up and delivered the devastating F5 onto the very same chair he used to knock Angle out. As Smackdown went off the air Lesnar stood over the fallen Angle and he raised the champ’s own World Title Belt aloft for all the fans to see. 96%

Another man on the hunt was the Undertaker who was after John Cena. Unfortunately Taker would not get much chance to look for Cena because Smackdown GM, Stephanie McMahon announced that Taker would go one on one with Big Show in the main event. 84%

Taker looked in an extremely foul mood and took this out on Big Show. But once again Cena decided to step into Taker’s yard, attacking the Dead Man with ferocity that resulted in a DQ victory for Undertaker. Undertaker began to get the better of the rookie until Big Show joined the brawl to decisively increase the odds in Cena’s favour. Undertaker resistance was stopped when the 7ft 2 monster delivered a devastating Choke Slam much to the delight of the cocky Cena. 71%

AJ Styles proved that his show stealing display against Eddie Guerrero was no fluke when he dispatched of Eddie’s nephew Chavo. Eddie was irate and jumped AJ after the victory, nailing the extremely talented Styles with the WWE United States Title to leave him down and out. However Styles has definitely proved his worth and has already become mega popular with the WWE faithful. 81%

Chris Benoit took revenge on the man that cost him the WWE United States Title in a hard fought battle with Rhyno. Rhyno lined Benoit up for the Gore but Rhyno was caught and taken down in the Crippler Crossface for an impressive tap out for the Rabid Wolverine. 81%

The first match of the show saw the World’s Greatest Tag Team along with new manager Paul Heyman for a defence of the WWE World Tag Titles. All the champs knew about their opposition was that they were former tag team champions. As the champions stood in the ring the familiar music of Too Cool played. The reformation of Too Cool brought the crowd to their feet. It obviously had an effect on the champions too as Sexay and Scotty completely dominated the opening part of the match and forced Haas and Benjamin to regroup with Heyman on the outside. The little break stopped the momentum and allowed the tide to change in the champs favour. The class of Haas and Benjamin showed and after a good ten minutes of fast paced action Haas locked in the Haas of Pain on Scotty and forced the tap out. Hopefully this isn’t the last we see of the fun duo of Too Cool. 79%

Immediately after the match Paul Heyman got a microphone and stated that the WWE could wheel out all the past tag team champs they had because no team could stop his men from becoming exactly what their name suggests, The World’s Greatest Tag Team! It is hard to argue with Heyman after a performance like that and judging the success of Heyman’s previous clients. 86%

A champion who was not so lucky in a title defence was WWE Cruiserweight Champion, Rey Mysterio. His opponent turned out to be former ECW TV Champion Kid Kash. This back and forth match had the crowd on the edge of their seats. The decisive moment in the match was when an unknown big man ran down the aisle and distracted the referee allowing Kash to hit a low blow followed by the aptly named Cha Ching to pick up the three count and the WWE Cruiserweight Title! After the match the unknown associate of Kash lifted Kash on to his shoulders as Kash paraded his newly won gold high in the air. 80%

There was more cruiserweight action on Smackdown later on in the evening as the team of Paul London, Tajiri and Ultimo Dragon defeated Matt Hardy Version 1.0, Shannon Moore and Jamie Noble in a highflying crowd pleaser. London’s impressive start as a Smackdown competitor continued as he picked up the win for his team, hitting the Shooting Star Press on Noble. 75%

WWE Heat Preview

Monday Night on Raw two title changes with Batista winning the WWE Intercontinental Title in a triple threat match against Booker T and Christian and the Dudley Boyz recapturing the World Tag Team Titles from La Resistance. Well both these titles will be on the line as we prepare for this edition of Sunday Night Heat.

As a reward for having to suffer a brutal and uncalled for attack from Evolution members Randy Orton and Batista, Goldust will get the chance to win the WWE Intercontinental Title when he takes on one of his attackers Batista in the main event. With Goldust nearly fully recovered from last week this will be an extremely tough first defence for Batista.

La Resistance will get a chance to win back the World Tag Team Titles after losing them on Raw when they come face to face with the Dudley Boyz for the third time in a week. La Resistance have lost both of those matches so should be motivated in their attempt to win back the gold and restore the pride of the nation they represent.

Speaking of tag teams, the newly formed duo of Rodney Mack and D’Lo Brown debut as a team when they take on the extreme team of Spike Dudley and Tommy Dreamer. Expect a very physical match up when they come together.

Last week on Heat we saw a physical specimen by the name of Ron Waterman absolutely destroy Tommy Dreamer. He’s back this week to take on youngster Steve Bradley. Will he display the same kind of dominance and ruthlessness this week on Heat? There’s only one way to find, tune in at 5 o’clock on Spike TV!

WWE Heat

Evolution continued there winning ways on Heat as Batista defeated Goldust to make a successful first defence of the WWE Intercontinental Title. Batista dominated the match and showed why he is considered the enforcer of Evolution. 76%

However, once again Evolution made sure that Goldust was in no fit state to compete, this time using the legendary Ric Flair as a distraction so that Batista and Randy Orton could attack and cause the challenger serious damage. 85%

In another successful title defence the Dudley’s retained the World Tag Team Titles when they beat La Resistance for the third straight time. The Dudley’s weren’t able to celebrate the victory as post match the new team of Rodney Brown and D’Lo Brown or the Brown Brovas as they are now know, ran to the ring and took out the unaware Dudley Boyz. 72%

Earlier in the evening the Brown Brovas debuted as a team when they took on the third Dudley Boy, Spike and Tommy Dreamer. D’Lo picked up an impressive win for the team when he hit the Sky High on Spike. Now this team are gunning for the World Tag Team Titles. 67%

At the start of the show the Browns cut an interview stated the reason as to why Mack had changed his name from Rodney Mack to Rodney Brown. They said that brovas must stick together and shown unity in the racist company which they worked for. 65%

The menacing Ron Waterman chalked up his second victory on Heat when he made short work of Steve Bradley. Still not much is known about this destructive big man apart from he will hurt whoever he steps in the ring with. 61%

Stacy Kiebler delighted the male fans when she showed up on Heat. She officially announced that she was looking for new clients to manage and that’s when her ex client Test showed up. Stacy refused to manage Test again, who then started to get aggressive and in her face. This prompted Maven to run out and save Stacy from the brutal Test. Maven distraction allowed Stacy to leave the ring and get back to the locker room. Maven wasn’t so lucky, as he was knocked flat out by the viscious Running Big Boot of Test. 71%

Raw Preview

Last week on Raw Evolution showed that they are the force to be stopped when Batista won the WWE Intercontinental Title, Randy Orton embarrassed The Rock on Chris Jericho’s Highlight Reel and later pinned The Great One to win the three on two handicap main event. Will this dominance continue as we head closer to Raw’s Fully Loaded PPV?

Apparently Randy Orton will hold some kind of celebration to proclaim the end of The Rock’s wrestling career. Can Orton get anymore arrogant? With The Rock in the building Orton better think carefully about what he chooses to do and say on this week’s edition of Raw.

Elsewhere, other Evolution members World Heavyweight Champion Triple H and WWE Intercontinental Champion Batista will team up to face Booker T and Goldberg. Booker T will look to get some kind of revenge on the man who stole the gold from him last week.

Another man involved in that Intercontinental Title change was Christian who claims that he never gets any opportunities on Raw. Tonight he gets a huge chance to climb the WWE rankings when he faces Mr Monday Night, Rob Van Dam. Expect a great, fast paced contest from these two.

Co GM’s Steve Austin and Eric Bischoff argued last week about what to do about the Big Red Machine, Kane, who has been tearing through the Raw roster in the past few weeks, sending both Hurricane and WWE referee Mike Chioda to the hospital. Well this week Steve Austin plans to confront the monster in a WWE ring. Can Austin get through to Kane and make him stop the heinous acts that are putting the entire Raw roster and staff in jeopardy?

What else will happen this week? With more matches to be signed join Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler for Raw this Monday night, exclusively on Spike TV!

WWE Raw Results

Evolution’s take over of Raw was halted last night thanks to The Rock, Booker T and Goldberg. In the main event Booker T and Goldberg defeated World Heavyweight Champion, Triple H and WWE Intercontinental Champion, Batista. Booker T wowed the fans when he hit Triple H with the Houston Hangover for a clean three-count victory. 68%

As Booker and Goldberg celebrated Eric Bischoff came out to the jeers of the fans but pleased them when he announced that Booker T was now the number one contender for the World Heavyweight Title. Booker T was obviously delighted and will now go on to face The Game at Fully Loaded on July 27th. 80%

Randy Orton had the smile wiped off his face last night when The Rock came out and interrupted Orton’s little celebration. Orton stated that he was “The Great One,” which drew thousands of boos from the fans in attendance. Those boos increased when Orton claimed that the rock was “chop liver” and “a worse actor than Steven Seagal,” who had only returned to the WWE because, “the movie offers have dried up.” This brought The Rock out who had was in no mood to talk. He sent Orton flying over the top rope with the trademark spit punch. Orton ran like a “scolded dog” as The Rock grabbed the microphone for his signature, “Can you smell what The Rock is cooking?” Someday real soon these two superstars are going to go one on one in a WWE ring. 83%

One man who can’t seem to be stopped is the monster Kane. Steve Austin squared up to Kane in the ring at the top of the show. Here is what went down:

Austin: Kane what’s up with your big red ass?

Kane: …

Austin: Your grouchy!

Fans: What?

Austin: Your angry!

Fans: What?

Austin: You’re in a foul mood!

Fans: What?

Lawler: Do you think this is a wise mood on Austin’s part JR? I mean look at Kane’s face, he looks like he’s going to explode!

Ross: I don’t know King! Kane’s just to unstable right now!

Austin: Come on Kane you son of a bitch!

Kane: …

Austin: Stone Cold can’t stay here all night flapping his gums so…

(Austin tries to Stunner Kane but Kane throws him off and catches Austin with a Choke Slam)

Ross: By gawd King! What a hellacious Choke Slam! Kane is unstoppable King!

King: I think Austin has literally “raised hell!”

(Kane leaves the ring with Austin down in the centre of it)

Ross: Austin is getting up!

(Kane stands on the top of the stage and does the action that results in the pyro in the four corners of the ring.)

Lawler: Look at Austin! If looks could kill Kane would be on death row!

Ross: What’s Austin thinking? He can’t fight Kane! Austin is in no condition to wrestle anymore!

Lawler: Well someone needs to stop Kane before he completely loses it! 79%

Two more women making an impact on Raw were Trish Stratus and Lita who teamed up to take on WWE Womens Champion Molly Holly and the deranged Victoria. Trish gave Molly complete Stratusfaction to give her and Lita the win. Will Trish now go on to face Molly for the Womens Title? 69%

The tag team duo of the Brown Brovas debuted with a win on Heat and later attacked the World Tag Team Champions, Bubba and D-Von to stake their claim. Well in a match recommended by Heat GM Al Snow, D’Lo Brown defeated Bubba Ray thanks to help from Rodney Brown. The Browns looked like they were going to double team Bubba but fortunately, D-Von made the save. 75%

Christian was interviewed just before he was set to face Rob Van Dam. He claimed that from tonight there would be a new fire inside him. He claimed that he would embark on a tremendous hot streak and it would start with a win over RVD. 74%

Christian looked like he was going to lose the match, which would have made a mockery of the things he would claim he would do. However his fellow countryman and friend Chris Jericho pushed RVD off the top rope and enabled Christian to nail the Unprettier on RVD for the win. After the match Jericho locked RVD in the Walls of Jericho before referees and staff were able to make him and Christian leave. 81%
