Depending on what level you want to learn at, tablature or tabs is always a good place to start. There's thousands of sites that could have you on you're way to whatever you want to learn as long as you get the concept.

Check out the program GuitarPro, it's pretty cool. You can get tabs at www.mysongbook.com for it

I just recently got a guitar of my own, so thanks Benji for starting this thread.

Personally, I'm starting from scratch, so any pointers anyone could give or whatever, would be great.

Did anyone get lost in that Guitar Noise site? I read Chords part 1, now where do I go, everything has just suddenly turned into music notes and stuff I just don't understand.

Found this site which I have found pretty useful. It also includes quite a long of songs for learners.

I have so much trouble changing chords, apparently C and G are the ones I need to really try, but by the time I've initiated a change, theres been too long of a pause to of made it officially a 'switch'. I really can't see any improvement here.

Maybe I should pay for some lessons, but I don't want to.

Try Here for a number of differant lessons, its hardly extensive, but each lesson is fairly huge.
