George Best passes away

Don't get me wrong Bestie was a legend on the pitch but off it he was a complete wanker. He had two chances at life and he blew it. That liver could have gone to someone who would have looked after it better than he did. I don't feel any sorrow towards Best. I feel more sorrow for his family and friends for all the ordeals he has put them through.

It was a huge deal. 100,000 people lined the streets. I watched it, and it was pretty sad. Definitely Bestie was a footballing legend, one of the, if not the best of all-time. But like others have said, I don't agree with his off-pitch antics, and think his liver would have been better suited for someone else. That said, RIP anyway.
