Chinese Democracy tracks leaked..

Two high quality versions of "Better" and "IRS" have been leaked. I got a listen of them in Uni today, sounds pretty promising to be honest, but it's no original GnR by a long shot.

Anyone else heard em?

I think IRS is better than some of the tracks off Appetite of Destruction...dont know about the other one tho.

Roughly how long has this album been about for now?

The album has never been out, but it's apparantly due for release in March, and judging by the quality of the tracks I heard, it sounds ready.

I said about. As in, how long as Axl Rose claimed that the album was ready to release? How long has it been in the pipeline for?

IIRC, they started writing it in 1993.

That's when it first got hyped for release as well (although the release was due sometime after).

A good few years, well over 5 or 6 years, probably longer.

IRS is better then 95% of the music on the charts now. And Better sounds like it would kill as a single, but it cuts out about 3 secs into the chorus . If you do a search on some GnR boards I'm sure you'll find the links, I'd post them but GNR management seems to be looking into sites that posted the links(Or so they say, theres the rumor of them actually leeking it to get hype for a march release)

I heard it, and its great, IRS is really good, i'm hopeing the CD will come out in march but probobly wont.

Another great song that might be on the CD is "The Blues" you guys should download it, it was played during their 2002 tour and I think its pretty good.

Managed to finally hear the tracks, Better was OK I guess, a bit too short to make a proper judgement. I really liked IRS, it's a very different GNR sound to the old band, but I'm liking it so far. I'm just wondering if some of the "old" new GNR songs like The Blues, Madagascar, or Silkworms will appear on Chinese Democracy.

Either way, it's just nice to know that some progress is being made.

Guess what. Another song off the CD has been leaked! There Was A Time(TWAT) as been leaked. And it is great

I'm listening to IRS as I speak. Excellent track. Hopefully the CD will be as good as this track.

Look for 'The General' to show up sometime soon. And yes TWAT is great. Fuck the doubters about Axl and his new stuff over the last 10 years or so(Except Oh my God, I give it that song was pretty bad hah)

I still stand by the fact that the only way this album will ever be released is when Axl dies. I can't see him ever releasing it during his lifetime, to be honest.

Well I think its now or never for Axl, the demos are out and playing on Radio stations, GNR fans are going crazy and the media will soon be reporting the news.
