I managed three stars on the first song on hard. Yay me. But that was mostly due to skipping out on orange and trying to do my best to hit the others.

I just broke out GH2 to get myself psyched up for GH3 (once I get my next paycheck). Ah carpal tunnel, how I missed thee.

Finally beat it in medium, but heck, I barely 3* most of the last 3 tiers. Took me 4 tries to beat Lou. I think I am staying on medium until I can at least 4* every song. I just fear hard is going to rape my ass with a barbed wire dildo.

I have no idea of the exact figures, but GHII was about ~300 for each star above three.

I just played through the Foo Fighters and Velvet Revolver songs and liked them all. Very fun. I only managed to four star Pretender on my first try and the rest I got three on first try.

I tried out GH3 at Best Buy today and I can't tell if I'm out of practice or they made the game harder. After clearing a song on Easy I can't remember, I biffed Knights of Cydonia at 65%. So I went to Raining Blood on Easy and had more trouble than I thought I would.

Question: Does the Wii offer downloadable songs? I can't figure out if it does or not.

I'm glad I saved my Easy Career for the "Hendrix Reborn" achievement... It would have been a nightmare trying it on Hard...

Also, I can't hear "Rock You Like A Hurricane" without thinking of this comic...

Anyone here have the PS2 version and can vouch for the quality of the guitar? Because I just read IGN's review and they said that the PS2 wireless guitar is so bad, you might as well either get a different wireless or just use the old controller.

I don't know why, but for some reason on GHIII I can 5* some tier 3-5 songs on expert no problem, but can't 4* some tier 1 songs on hard...stupid Poison!

I was proud of myself when I beat the game on Hard, then got to the 8th tier on Expert. After trying each song and failing each 8th tier song on Expert, I can only cry.

I've been playing through expert recently and last night I got to the next-to-last tier(with Slipknot, and Queens of the Stone Age and them) and I think I'm about done with the whole 'progressing in expert mode' thing. I mean, seriously, I'm amazed that slipknot song got all the way through the QA process without enough people saying "Hey, this notechart really sucks." to get it changed.

I have it for Wii & PS2, and I definately like the Wii controller better. If the controller's the issue, though, and you want a new one, buy it at Wal-Mart because it comes with the red guitar from GH2.
