I have a friend going to GMU next year. She goes down to the school all the time because she's going to be a cheerleader there and already practices with them. So she's really familiary with the school. And, obviously, she's going nuts right now.

I know I had Uconn in my final 4, but I was still cheering on George Mason anyway. They really played a great Game, and they can definately win the whole thing given the talent they have.

Yeah, UConn had the problem with they were too good for themselves and were bound to fuck up. They were falling behind every single time. Albany shoulda beat them. They got wicked lucky vs. Washington.

I'll glady jump onto the George Mason bandwagon (Although I was on it after they beat my original pick Witchita State). I love underdogs, and this is one of the best sports stories unfolding before the world. It could just be the "hype" and media stuff, but I really believe that this team could be the National champions. Says a lot for the parity in College Basketball.

So GMU is making Baltimore proud (even though they aren't from here) because of their players. Will Thomas used to play at Mount St. Joe's and somehow was overshadowed by Rudy Gay in the MIAA.

But the talent on that GMU starting 5 is seriously amazing. Like, you look at the names of the guys and if you follow Maryland high schools you're like "How did they not end up at UNC or something?"

They had something on ESPN where in their bracket thing, only four people had the correct Final Four.

200-something had George Mason winning it all; no word on if it was one of the four with the correct Final Four.

I don't know how many people follow the women's game. But Maryland and Duke just played an OT thriller. And much to my joy, Maryland won!
