Err, it's actually the producer of the film. They haven't decided the director yet.

That said, I don't see why people are bagging on New Line so much. I understand they've done shitty films like all the big studios, but they did distribute good shit like The Upside of Anger and A History of Violence last year. Admittedly, that's a terrible example, and maybe only Lion's Gate would be a good choice here, but I definitely don't think the studio will be the problem here.

I am not to worried about this as this movie is a few years away from even being filmed. I will be surprised if this movie comes out within the next 5 years.
