My friends final year project for uni this year, personally I think it's pretty awesome and also brings up some of the issues of our possible ID Card bullshit.

It's pretty decent quality for a student, and apparantly cost them a first few quid. But it did get him a first.

Anyways, enjoy.

I'm all for ID cards, unless you're a crooky paedo I don't see the major problem.

EDIT: I don't really understand the story actually, infact I don't really get what message its trying to get across at all.

The impression I got is that theres a severe crackdown on peoples rights, by demanding they have an ID card.

And once he was forced to have an ID Card, it pushed him into joining the rebellion against them.

In that case I'd of given them a fail since thats pathetic, it was filmed well enough but the story is the absolute drizzly shits. Was he a terrorist? what was the name malarky all about? was he actually a baddie? who was charging his mobile phone whilst he was in prison? why didn't he want them to go to his shop? why was he arrested? I mean why?

I think ID cards are going to make identity theft/deception MORE common, if anything.

I mean, how long did it take them to start cloning passports, birth certificates and credit cards?

If we're suddenly given this little bit of plastic as our only form of ID, surely hackers/computer genii and their illegal immigrant friends are going to have a ball :shifty:
