Anyone Ever See Godsmack Live?

I'm debating whether going to see Godsmack live at the Bryce Jordan Center in State College, Pennsylvania on December 1st, and need to know if they're any good live? I know bands that sound great on the album but are horrible live, and don't want waste my money for a shitty show. So if anyone's ever been to one let me know how it was, if you please.

Saw em a couple months ago, they're a good live band IMO at least. I'd say it's worth it.

Saw them when they supported Metallica, put on a really impressive show.

I saw them live a few years ago with Cold, Systematic, and Staind, and they put on a great show. I will actually be at the show at the Bryce Jordan Center on the first, too.

I'd say go, they put on a great show. (well, I did already say that, didn't I)

There is no other band in music right now whose album-to-live ratio is greater than Godsmack. I hate listening to them on the radio or CD, but live they are fucking amazing.

Can't really add more to the discussion because they are just great live. I like them on cd, but they are bounds better live than on cd.

Holy shit, I just realized you said State College.

I live in Pittsburgh, but I'm moving to State College in January for school.

Too bad the concert wasn't in January or I'd go.

But yeah man...go, they're awesome live. As I said.

Yeah I just got tickets yesterday, section 124 I believe. Shinedown is opening up for them I heard, should be great.
