i was sceptical at first when i heard that they were doing a sequel to Bruce Almighty.

I'm not expecting another Bruce Almighty to be honest, the first one is genuinely one of my very favourite comedies ever, still, I'm expecting nothing short of a bloody entertaining hour and a half or so.

It looks decent enough, but, uh.

At an initial budget of approximiately $140 million, Evan Almighty is slated to be the most expensive comedy movie ever made. Added costs such as set construction, visual effects, and problems with filming multiple animals in a controlled location could bring the budget up to $160-175 million. Once marketing for the film is also included, the film's entire budget is estimated to be $250 million.

There's no way they're going to make all that money back, seriously.

I don't think this is going to be the great success the enormous budget should justify it being. I loved Bruce Almighty, so I'll go to see this, and it does look good, but I can't imagine as much of a turn-out for this as there was for Bruce.

40 year old Virgin was a fucking awful movie. He's awesome on the office and wast bad in Ancorman. In fact, he was the only bright spot in Ancorman, well with the eception of Afternoon Delight.

The 40 Year Old Virgin was fucking AWFUL!! The most overrated comedy on the face of the planet, ever. Bruce Almighty was alright, nothing hilarious, but had some chuckle worthy moments. Was good in a 'sentimental' kind of way.

There was no need to use the word fuck as many times as that movie did in the first 15 mintues. Goodfellas, Full Metal Jacket, Jarhead, Casino,

Those movies all used in context because that's how those characters talked. That was based off reality. I turned 40 year old version off atter the first 30 mintues because I found it fucking offensive and immature and no where near funny.

I liked both, although I liked Bruce Almighty a bit more then 40 Year Old Virgin both were damn funny.

I still don't like how Jim Carrey doesn't even have a cameo in Evan Almighty though

You found it offensive? I've only ever turned off one movie for language, and that was SLJ's Shaft, and it's definatly not because it offended me... I'm a fan of the origanal Shaft movies and it was not true to that series. But I, again just my opinion, didn't feel like it was overused and I don't even remember them using the word all that much in the first 30 minutes, but if you are offended by the "F" word, I find that kind of humerous, but that's just me and not meant against you.

I found this post fucking offensive. He said fuck twice, in less than four complete lines. It's a fucking disgrace.
