I hope UFC knows how bad this will eventually make the heavyweight division. This can only lead to Cro Cop destroying Arlovski(who has looked unimpressive for 4 straight fights).

The heavyweight division was already in enough trouble that they had to beg Randy to come back and they are "signing" PRIDE stars to fill in spots on the roster.

That division is about to have a severe amount of one sided and/or "boring" fights.

Does anyone know what they judges scored the AA/Werdum fight individually?

Miss me? Of course you didn't. Anyway, looks like I have a lot of catching up to do here, so its good job I'm off work sick with nothing else to do, eh?

Results for UFC Fight Night, were as I had originally posted them in this thread. Newcomer DeeJam shocked the world by winning the prediction competition outright, going an impressive 8-1 in his picks. Enter Blue Guy and Crazedfan were not far behind going a very impressive 7-2, while joint league leader Natural Born Thrilla had a torrid time going 5-4 and only picking up 60 points meaning that he finished bottom of the pile.

DeeJam: (10 - 10 - 15 - 10 - 20 - 10 - 15 - 0 - 20) 110

Enter Blue Guy: (20 - 0 - 15 - 10 - 20 - 20 - 10 - 0 - 10) 105

Crazedfan: (10 - 0 - 10 - 20 - 20 - 10 - 15 - 0 - 10) 95

Punky: (20 - 0 - 0 - 20 - 15 - 10 - 15 - 0 - 10) 90

ACCBiggz: (10 - 0 - 10 - 20 - 20 - 0 - 10 - 0 - 15) 85

Dochappy: (10 - 0 - 10 - 10 - 10 - 10 - 10 - 10 - 10) 80

Raistlin: (10 - 20 - 10 - 10 - 20 - 0 - 0 - 0 - 10) 80

Cole: (10 - 0 - 10 - 10 - 15 - 0 - 15 - 0 - 20) 80

KCC: (10 - 0 - 15 - 0 - 15 - 10 - 10 - 0 - 15) 75

PotatoClassic: (0 - 0 - 10 - 20 - 15 - 10 - 10 - 0 - 10) 75

Takayamanofear: (0 - 10 - 0 - 20 - 15 - 0 - 0 - 20 - 10) 75

LBTN: (10 - 0 - 15 - 20 - 15 - 0 - 10 - 0 - 0) 70

Natural Born Thrilla: (20 - 0 - 0 - 10 - 10 - 10 - 0 - 0 - 10) 60

The results of UFC Fight Night left the overall table looking like this. ACCBiggz retained his top spot with an impressive showing, but Enter Blue Guy's return to form really put him hot on the heels of the leader. The top six are seperated by only fifteen points, an advantage that can be overturned by just one correct result/finish/round prediction, which means the competition is definetly hotting up.

1. ACCBiggz (65 - 105 - 85) 255

2. Enter Blue Guy (95 - 55 - 105) 255

3. CrazedFan (85 - 70 - 95) 250

4. Punky (70 - 80 - 90) 240

4. Raistlin (75 - 85 - 80) 240

4. Cole (105 - 55 - 80) 240

7. Natural Born Thrilla (85 - 85 - 60) 230

8. PotatoClassic (95 - 55 - 75) 225

9. Takayamanofear (85 - 60 - 75) 220

10. LBTN (90 - 55 - 70) 215

11. KCC (60 - 50 -75) 185

12. Dochappy (65 - 0 - 80) 145

13. desiredtoe (90 - 40 - 0) 130

14. DeeJam (0 - 0 - 110) 110

15. The K-Dogg (75 - 0 - 0) 75

15. Typical Phenom (0 - 75 - 0) 75

17. TAFKA SOB (55 - 0 - 0) 55

18. Miami Vice (45 - 0 - 0) 45

19. Numbahs (0 - 35 - 0) 35

20. Wonderkid (30 -0 - 0) 30

Updates for UFC 69 and 70 will be up as soon as I get them done. Hopefully this afternoon, but I am ill and stuff so maybe never :P

Undoubtedly the lower scoring round we've had so far in the competition as nobody managed to pick up a substantial score this time around. A small part of that would be down to the major upset in the main event, where Matt Serra overcame the odds and defeated Georges St-Pierre for the title. Such an upset it was that nobody even voted for Serra to win the match, crazy. Elsewhere the heavily backed Mike Swick fell to Yushin Okami and an undercard made up of many fighters few predicters would have heard of, surely explains the lower scores across the board. However lets not take anything away from Natural Born Thrilla, KCC and Raistlin who all scored 75 points to come joint first in this show's predicition competition. Elsewhere league leader ACCBiggz was joined by Enter Blue Guy, Cole and LBTN on 60 points, how will these low scores affect the overall table? We'll find out in a bit.

Natural Born Thrilla: 75

Raistlin: 75

KCC: 75

Punky: 70

ACCBiggz: 60

Enter Blue Guy: 60

Cole: 60

LBTN: 60

Dochappy: 55

Crazedfan: 50

DeeJam: 50

Takayamanofear: 50

Maxx: 50

PotatoClassic: 40

As it saves me writing the results out, I've uploaded a screenshot of my Excel style document I used for writing up my scores, if you see a discrepency, just tell me and I'll go back and double check. To see the file, just click here

1. ACCBiggz (65 - 105 - 85 - 60) 315

1. Enter Blue Guy (95 - 55 - 105 - 60) 315

1. Raistlin (75 - 85 - 80 - 75) 315

4. Punky (70 - 80 - 90 - 70) 310

5. Natural Born Thrilla (85 - 85 - 60 - 75) 305

6. CrazedFan (85 - 70 - 95 - 50) 300

6. Cole (105 - 55 - 80 - 60) 300

8. LBTN (90 - 55 - 70 - 60) 275

9. Takayamanofear (85 - 60 - 75 - 50) 270

10. PotatoClassic (95 - 55 - 75 - 40) 265

11. KCC (60 - 50 -75 - 70) 265

12. Dochappy (65 - 0 - 80 - 55) 200

13. DeeJam (0 - 0 - 110 - 50) 160

14. desiredtoe (90 - 40 - 0 - 0) 130

And we're pretty much on track now, as this is the final set of results for shows that I hadn't been around to get the tables done for. The table below shows the results for UFC 70: Nations Collide, overall this show brought about a better set of results than the previous show with Natural Born Thrilla going 9-1, ACCBiggz going 8-2 and a whole host of other people registering respectable scores. This show saw the arrival of three new predicters to the game, as Jouzy, Liam Byrne and JoeMimic, joined us. Who did the best out of the newbies? How did the oldies fair? See below to find out.

ACCBiggz: 120

Natural Born Thrilla: 115

JoeMimic: 105

Crazedfan: 95

Dochappy: 95

Cole: 90

KCC: 85

Takayamanofear: 80

Jouzy: 80

Raistlin: 75

DeeJam: 75

Enter Blue Guy: 70

Liam Byrne: 60

And you can check your results, here and here, as there were too many matches on my excel file for it to all fit in one screen wipe.

The overall league table now stands like this

1. ACCBiggz (65 - 105 - 85 - 60 - 120) 435

2. Natural Born Thrilla (85 - 85 - 60 - 75 - 115) 420

3. CrazedFan (85 - 70 - 95 - 50 - 95) 395

4. Raistlin (75 - 85 - 80 - 75 - 75) 390

4. Cole (105 - 55 - 80 - 60 - 90) 390

6. Enter Blue Guy (95 - 55 - 105 - 60 - 70) 385

7. Takayamanofear (85 - 60 - 75 - 50 - 80) 350

8. KCC (60 - 50 -75 - 75 - 85) 345

9. Punky (70 - 80 - 90 - 70 - 0) 310

10. Dochappy (65 - 0 - 80 - 55 - 95) 295

11. LBTN (90 - 55 - 70 - 60) 275

12. PotatoClassic (95 - 55 - 75 - 40) 265

13. DeeJam (0 - 0 - 110 - 50 - 75) 230

14. desiredtoe (90 - 40 - 0 - 0 - 0) 130

15. JoeMimic (0 - 0 - 0 - 0 105) 105

16. Jouzy (0 - 0 - 0 - 0 - 80) 80

And would you just look at that, as if by some sort of amazing scheduling I've managed to get the entire Predicition League back up to where it was supposed to be, two days before the next UFC show. You know the rules by now I'm sure but if you need a little refresh or are joining us for the first time, picking the winner of the fight, the round they will win in and the method they will use (KO, TKO, Submission, Decision). You get ten points for the correct fighter and an additional five points for each of the other two categories.

If you haven't predicted yet, don't feel as if it is too late. DeeJam has shown that with three results that you can get into the bottom end of the pack and attempt to climb further up the table, so there is no reason that you couldn't as well. Of course alongside the culminative league table there is a table for every show, so you're in with as much of a chance as anybody at winning that.

UFC:71

Chuck Liddell Vs. Quinton Jackson

Terry Jackson Vs. Ivan Salaverry

Josh Burkman Vs. Karo Parisyan

Houston Alexander Vs. Keith Jardine

Kalib Starnes Vs. Chris Leben

Thiago Silva Vs. James Irwin

Sean Salmon Vs. Alan Belcher

Jeremy Stephens Vs. Din Thomas

Carmelo Marrero Vs. Wilson Gouveia

Predictions have to be in before the show starts, which the handy ticker on the UFC website tells me is 2 days and 11 hours away. So get picking and good luck.
