Screw my request...

Don't worry, I had the same problems switching from GIMP to PS. Simply create a new layer, select all (Command/Control + A) and stroke (Edit + Stroke) to your liking (A 1px black border being the most simple).

Here's what I do for borders:

1) Select the background layer

2) Ctrl+A

3) New layer

4) Select -> Modify -> Border...; set it at 1 pixel

5) Set colour to black, Edit -> Fill... (foreground colour)

Voila. Black 1 pixel border.

You can skip the first step, I just do it out of habit and I'm not sure why.

Double post, nothing to see here...

EDIT: I've found what you mean, but nothing seems to come up when I do what you say. The outline for a bored comes up, but nothing more.

EDIT: I've done it! :) Thanks for your help, guys.

Here's an edited version with the border...

Yeah, I'm not keen on the text at all. Also, you should blend the backgrounds together more, so you don't have such a hard line between the three pictures of Edge.

the best way to blend i find is

1. use square marquee tool select area of photo

2. set feathering (ctrl + alt D) i think

3. Inverse selection (shift control i) once again thinking not in photoshop

4. Delete about four times

there is probably an easier way but yeah... this is the way i taught myself

Na, that doesn't work for me...Thanks though.

Anyone else have an idea?

EDIT: Maybe someone could save the picture to their computer, do it, and show me what you mean.

There's a method where you make a new white layer with a layer mask. On the layer mask, use the soft circular brush in black, and go down the line of the image you want to blend. Or something like that.
