Much like P.Diddy did with "Kashmir", I don't think he ruined it by using the instrumentals of it for his song, just that it was a bad song. <_>

I heard this shit back in like 98 or 99 and thought it was awesome. Then I finally heard Kashmir and was like... wow, Puffy sucks.

Kanye makes some decent music, shame he's so fantastically crazy.

Honestly, I dig the massive amounts of crazy. I mean, in Kanye's case it is a bit ridiculous, but at the same time hip-hop is quite possibly the single most inherently egotistical style of music ever. I honestly can't think of a single great rapper/rap group that hasn't made at least one song about how great they are (even acts like De La Soul spend much of their time talking about how much better they are than mainstream, generic rap, and Digable Planets released an entire song solely dedicated to how incredibly cool they are, and that was their big hit).

I forgot about the Maximo Park album actually. Saw them a few months before it came out in this place in Newcastle called the Cluny where they pre-viewed it, it impressed me then and I still really like it. I think they mix pop with the slight pretention of bands like the Smashing Pumpkins quite well.

This song isn't bad I do like the Can't Tell Me Nothin song a little bit better though. I didn't like Kanye's last album as much as I liked the first one but I've got high hopes for this next one.
