They've done the album with Gil Norton and it's immediately obvious that they've gone back to writing balls-to-the-wall rock songs!!

The production makes it sound like a Foo Fighters record too, instead of the Nick Raskulinecz stadium rock style shit that ruined In Your Honour.

The several changes of pace without warning is totally "Colour and the Shape", and its a decent track to boot. I've never been disappointed by a Foo Fighters record, well minus the "loud" side of In Your Honour, the quiet side is awesome enough to make up for it though. I can't wait until they tour the UK either (I heard rumours of a November tour).

Yeah, I like the return to a catchy chorus in the vein of Color and the Shape-like songs. I'll admit, I'm not as huge of a Foo fan as I was in the past, but this new record could be insanely good.

It starts off pretty meh (maybe it'll grow on me), but once it gets going properly it's awesome. I love me some Foos, although I haven't bought a Foos album since The Colour And The Shape.

I loved One By One *(My favourire album) but a return to the old Foo's is by far better than In Your Honour ("Best Of You" was awful and I didn't like the other one they released as a single)

Loved the early stuff, then I think tehy got a bit boring and generic, I hated In Your Honour, but this sounds pretty good, looks like they've found themselves again.

Everlong is their greatest song though. The acoustic version is quality too.

Dave Grohl on acoustic sessions is awesome. He did "One By One" for a live lounge acoustic session on radio one and it was immense.

I actually quite enjoyed IYH, it's not brilliant but "Best of You", "End over End" and "Last Song" all found their way into my regular rotation.

This sounds pretty good, can't wait for the new CD. Hopefully this means World Tour
