CM Punk Drawing

Had some spare time the other night so I decided to put the ol' pencil to paper. I'm fairly pleased with the result, what do you guys think?

Something looks odd about the face, especially around the eyes but I can't put my finger on what it is exactly. Apart from that, though, it looks excellent.

yeah the right (his left) eye is pretty fucked up, the eye placement is my biggest weakness in terms of drawing people. They're very hard to get right.

Thats pretty awesome, the only thing is that he looks really old. Not that I'm one to talk, I suck at doing face structures on pictures like that. He actually looks like Terry Funk in the face, haha.

The shading on his upper lip was an on again, off again process, I did it in layers. Overall I think it took me an hour and a half to do the whole thing. The best shading was on the torso, but you can't really tell on the scanned image here because the depth seems to have been lost.

It's one of the better drawings I've done, and one of the only times I've been somewhat successful with a wrestler. I have one of The Undertaker I did last Summer that I drew too that looks pretty good. As for the best drawing, it has to be a self portrait I did as a final for my drawing class the first semester of college. We had to spend a limit of 13 hours on it, it's a self portrait, and I'm clutching a lucha mask I bought at hot topic. I'll see if I can scan that in over the next few days as well.

It looks excellent, I think the face has slight shades of Sabu in it. But it's a really great drawing, I second the question on how long did it take you?

I had to do a double take. The giant section of pencil behind the character showed no immediate distinction from his hair so I thought it was Punk with a whole SHIT LOAD of hair.

Then upon closer inspection I realized what it actually was, and there was a defined section of hair. Very nice job though, I think it looks fantastic.

Great drawing dude, I really like it. Although I do agree with the sentiments about the face by Split; He does kind of look like Sabu in that aspect.

As for the rest though, it's awesome. I'd love to see some more of your work. Maybe you could post some more?

I think it's great. The face isn't 100% like others are saying, but still...I'd recognise who it was supposed to be even without the body/tattoo's.
