I understand not always being able to go to the games, of course. I'm not suggesting people drop everything. I'm just concerned everyone is jumping on the bandwagon and it might end up ruining the club for those who were their fans in the first place.

We've talked about this on the forums, and they will end up with around £10,000 a year each max. Which isn't a lot really for what they have to do.

Exactly. How many people get a chance to say they own a club, even a small piece of it. Here, you get an opportunity to become a part of something, and help the club rise up through the pyramid.

Here with me, I never really had a favorite pro club. So now, I have a personal attachment to a club which I didn't have before.

And just for note: the Green Bay Packers are owned by 112,000 people holding somewhere around 4-5 million shares in the team.
