Muse...

Absolution is the best "album" from start to finish. It's more of a journey. "Falling away with you" is one of my favourite tracks too (along with "Apocalypse Please"). Origin is probably my least favourite album (but that's hardly saying anything) cos while it's got the MIGHTY Citizen Erased, and all the "hits", it's just like a best of as opposed to anything with heart. I love Showbiz though - first time saw them live it was just Showbiz stuff as the album had just come out (1999). Muscle Museum and Fillip are the best tracks but it's a more haunting, eerie, edgy album than the others.

Black Holes etc is a fine piece of work but will slot in third behind Absolution and Showbiz.

Where? Reading. When? August 2006. Who? Muse. Why? They we're headlining. What? The greatest live show I have seen in my entire fuckin' life.

Okay, so the come down off booze, weed and other stuff I probably shouldn't have ever touched mixed in with the light show and pure sexy sound that is Muse was possibly the greatest hour and a bit of my life. My girl at the time thought I was a bit weird when I fell over because I wasn't fully with it, but damn what a sick show.
