Classic PS2 Games

I'm really into looking at the Used games sections at video game stores, and I have a PS2, and am looking into getting some classic PS2 games that can occupy my time well. The most recent one I bought was NBA Live 04, which my friend said is the best NBA game to date, and it really is good. But I'm looking into more adventure games that I won't have a hard time finding at game stores. I think I'll end up buying Twisted Metal: Black, but hope for some others.

Any suggestions for games that are awesome for the PS2.

And no God of War please.

Red Faction I and II. You can get them insanely cheap, and they're both fantastic games, especially when it comes to multiplayer and playing one on one on the level with two structures opposite each others and sniper rifles / rocket launchers.

Honest to god, Timesplitters 2 may well be the best game of its kind to grace any console. I managed to pick it up quite cheaply recently too. It's got great multiplayer and single player modes, and all the game modes keep you entertained for a good while.
