So who's played so far? The servers are getting pounded, so it takes forever to join a game, at least for me. I finally got done playing both maps and I like what I see. Oasis is badass when you have all types of vehicles engaged in battle, with tons of explosions going off, and because of the Frostbite engine, the stage is literally destroyed once the match finishes.

I didn't get mine downloaded yet, what with Halo and the codes being iffy for us UK'ers. There's a game scheduled for 2am GMT/9PM wrong time over at 360arcadians so y'all free to tag along. All, 2 of us.

I played it for about half an hour, ranked up to corporal. It's an alright game, doesn't do anything better than any other FPS. Although the destructable environments are pretty cool.

After playing some more... I'm already getting kind of bored with it. My problems with it:

- Gold Rush isn't as fun as Conquest. Hopefully the retail version has Conquest.

- The hit detection is very bad. There have been a lot of times where my life drains, yet I have no idea I'm being shot at.

- Splash damage is non-existent

- Fall damage sucks. I can fall from eight feet in the air and lose 60 or 70 percent of life.

- Vehicle controls suck

- Ascension sucks. Give me more vehicles! That's the main reason I play battlefield.
