NHL 2k9 and/or NHL 09

The only problem is, I've only ever played the 2K series and I prefer sports games with Franchise modes... I've never played the EA series and thus, know absolutely NOTHING about it...

Both NHL 09 and NHL 2K9 will be good. You can't go wrong with either this year.

But what does 09 have that makes it stand out so much more to a lot of people? People seem to be all for 09, and only go for 2K9 cuz of it's franchise mode... What does 09 have that 2K doesnt?
