The keepers were terrible...There'd be some stupid laggy thing that would fuck me up in a match. Keepers cost me my unbeaten streak of like 50 games against a mate that was terrible

Punching into nets, spilling catches, fumbling it, missing kicks...Just terrible.

But than again i ain't too impressed with Fifa although going to try the demo a few more times. I'll get Pro Evo defo it's just if i get Fifa as well. Ain't a big fan of shooting on it just can't get used to it it either has no power on or goes miles into the stands

Hopefully, the bolded means the CL will happen during the Master League. I reckon it'd be much better to have to qualify for it via that, rather than just powering up the game and being able to play it.

I just tonight ordered myself a 360 and with it i've pre-ordered Pro Evo. The changes looks fantastic and I'm excited that they're rewriting the entire match engine. Definitely something they needed to do a couple of years ago in my opinion.

I fear though, that despite my love for a good Master League, i'll never play it. I can see myself spending all my time on the 'Be a legend' mode if it's everything they say it will be (And if it's better than "Be a pro" on Fifa).

Most of those achievements are the same as the last one...Not really arsed like as i didn't really try and achievement hunt on Pro Evo.

Still looks a good game hopefully more details will be out soon along with a demo

You are very lucky then, Goalkeepers are horrible in the game and despite all the good gameplay end up ruining it I was playing a game with my friend as Liverpool and in extra time Reina grabbed his corner then mysteriously threw it down for his player to tap in and this happens frequently throughout the game.

That's happened to me before.

Another annoying thing is once the ball froze on my goal line and none of my players could move and the Goalkeeper couldn't kick it so my opponent just ran over and tapped it in. Really annoying...

Yeah I swear, nothing like that really. Sometimes maybe the goalie has come out to smother the ball and the player but the ball has come loose. Or sometimes they make a bit of a hash with shots near their face, but nothing that'd really they were shit. Weird...

How is that even possible though. You've never had the opponent score a free-kick when you're 1-0 up? Because that happens a lot with me. Last time I had it I already assumed it was going in, even though the free kick was in a horrible spot and yes, the opponent scored. They cheat, it is so evident sometimes and Konami has confirmed this. They said they built "stories" in the matches, so they try to force a goal and not like; play well with pressure to score but let your defenders walk away from the ball so a whole in the defense exists way to score. The central defenders are the dumbest shits in this game by far. Sure the goalkeeper can be incredibly moronic (I had it yesterday against my mate like 3 times. I let my keeper come out and instead of going to the player he just ran straight forward, creating an open goal in the process), but the AI defenders are so fuckin' idiotic sometimes. You go after a player with a midfielder and you expect that your central defenders mark the strikers but noooo, in my screen I see one of them just walk to the side for no apparent reason and the opponent can just pass and voila, open space. Grrrrr....

I just can't explain it. My experiences are utterly different. The goalkeepers are decent but human (ie no stupid mistakes but the odd parried mistake or wrong footing as happens in real life - no running randomly out though).

I never use slide tackle so rarely give away freekicks, especially around the box. However the number of freekicks and corners that are scored against me is pretty constant whether I'm ahead or behind...Even if they built in a mode I've never experienced it...At least not enough for it to stand out.

The defenders are ok but I will quickly switch to them anyway when the computer is attacking. They follow the strikers well enough with a few realistic mistakes here and there.

I guess I've got a lucky copy.

Yeah, they did confirm bias towards the AI to make the game more entertaining. On the subject of FK's though, they were annoying, because you could indeed predict that the AI would score, leaving you powerless to do anything.

But, only last week, people at PESG were saying that the way to combat all these FK goals, is to remove your wall, or the majority of it. Not sure what buttons you need to press, but know it can be done. The reasoning is that the FK's are scored because the keeper sees the ball late after it goes over the wall. I don't play PES anymore, so I haven't tried it, but it does make sense.
