Switching from PSP7 to Photoshop CS3...

So I made the switch, but I can't open any of my old cuts. They're listed as PSP files. I've tried opening them, opening as PSD, I always get an error. I also no longer have PSP, so I'm not sure what to do with them.

Maybe try converting them using Irfanview? I don't use photoshop, but I've used Irfanview to convert images before. Could be worth a shot.

Do you still have PSP? If so you can simply copy the layers to a new PSD document... Not ideal I know.

PSP allows you to save in PSD format. Open the files back up, and save as PSD.

Open and Save PSP 5-9 format files (including .pspimage, etc.) from Photoshop. (Has also proved useful in recovering image data from otherwise unopenable PSP files.)
