Brian Urlacher

Accordin to the Jim Rome Show, Brian Urlacher has pulled a hammy in the 1st hour of the Bears 1st practice. He's scheudled for an MRI, but team officials say he'll be out for weeks. Looks likt this is a fluke though, as he came into camp in very good shape.

Very good news for GB!!!

The Bears need to get some big defensive tackles in front of Urlacher. Last year he struggled without them. As a converted saftey, it seems he has trouble shedding blocks.

As syco said, Urlacher is useless without a dominant D-Line.

This is also good news for Lions fans, Detroit is at Chicago Week 1. I've never been totally impressed with Urlacher. I've noticed he can be neutralized by a good blocking fullback such as Corey Schlesinger.
